Five Leafeon prints, five different Japanese sets, and a price spread from under ¥15,000 to over ¥128,000 — and the most expensive one in our own stock is also the hardest to pin down on paper.
Leafeon has never headlined a set the way some Eeveelutions have, but its Japanese print run still covers a full decade of design styles: a 2021 Eevee Heroes V, a pair of modern Terastal-era SAR chase cards, an artist promo from Yu Nagaba, and an older GX-era print for range context. This guide lines up every printing we could verify, prices them against our own PSA10 graded stock, and is upfront about the one listing we couldn’t fully confirm against public card databases.
Our own PSA10 stock spans five Leafeon printings from ¥14,692 (~$92) to ¥128,810 (~$810). The Leafeon VMAX HR (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) sits at the top of that range by price, while the Eevee Heroes V SR (071/069) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) is the printing most collectors recognise first.
Prices below are what we currently list our own PSA10 graded stock at on samuraiswordtokyo.com — not third-party market averages — converted at ¥159/USD (September 2026).
Every Leafeon Card and What It’s Worth
Ranked by our current listed price:
| # | 卡牌 | Set | Rarity | Listed price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Leafeon VMAX HR 089/069 SA (our listing title only) | Unverified — not confirmed on public card databases | HR (per our listing) | ¥128,810 (~$810) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) |
| 2 | Leafeon V 071/069 SA | Eevee Heroes (S6a) | SR | ¥35,179 (~$221) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) |
| 3 | Leafeon 068/SV-P (Yu Nagaba) | Scarlet & Violet Promo (SVP) | Promo | ¥31,668 (~$199) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) |
| 4 | Leafeon ex 200/187 | Terastal Festival ex (SV8a) | SAR | ¥22,322 (~$140) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) |
| 5 | Leafeon VSTAR 210/172 | VSTAR Universe (S12a) | SAR | ¥14,692 (~$92) |
An older printing rounds out the historical picture: Leafeon GX (SM8b #206) from GX Ultra Shiny, which we cover further down for context — it is not currently in our stock, so it isn’t priced in the table above.
The standout pattern here is that price doesn’t map cleanly to rarity tier. The VMAX HR outprices two modern SAR chase cards despite being an older-era printing, while the two Terastal-era SARs sit closer to the middle of the pack. The sections below cover each printing in turn.
The 2021 Standard: Leafeon V SR from Eevee Heroes

Eevee Heroes (S6a) gave every Eeveelution a V card in 2021, and Leafeon’s is card 071/069, an SR-rarity full-art print. It’s the printing most collectors think of first when they picture a modern Japanese Leafeon card — a full-set release rather than a promo or a subset chase card, which keeps it in wider circulation than the promo-only prints on this list.
Our PSA10 graded copy is currently listed at ¥35,179 (~$221) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨). For anyone building a full Eevee Heroes V run, this is one of the more accessible entries in that set relative to some of its siblings.
For the full box contents and how the V slots into the wider Eevee Heroes checklist, see our Eevee Heroes (S6a) card list and box guide.
The Modern Pair: Leafeon ex and Leafeon VSTAR
These two sit closest together in both era and price. The Leafeon ex (200/187) comes from Terastal Festival ex (SV8a) as a special art rare, and the Leafeon VSTAR (210/172) comes from VSTAR Universe (S12a), also as a special art rare. Both are alt-art full-body illustrations in the SAR style that’s defined most of Japan’s high-end pulls across the SV and Sword & Shield eras.
PSA10 graded, the ex is currently listed at ¥22,322 (~$140) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) and the VSTAR at ¥14,692 (~$92) — the most affordable graded Leafeon we currently have listed. If you’re comparing SAR-style alt arts across species more broadly, our Japanese alt-art SAR guide covers the format in depth, and Terastal Festival ex (SV8a)’s full card list puts the ex in the context of its full set.
The Artist Promo: Yu Nagaba’s Leafeon

卡牌 068/SV-P is part of the Scarlet & Violet promo line illustrated by Yu Nagaba, whose flat, graphic style has made his promo run one of the more distinctive side-sets in recent Japanese Pokemon releases. It’s a different aesthetic entirely from the V, ex, and VSTAR full-art treatments elsewhere on this list — no battle pose, no scenic background, just Nagaba’s signature line work.
Our PSA10 copy is currently listed at ¥31,668 (~$199) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨), putting it just below the Eevee Heroes V in price despite being a single promo card rather than a full-set release. For the artist’s other Pokemon promo work, see our Yu Nagaba Pokemon card guide.
Our Priciest Listing: The Leafeon VMAX HR
The single most expensive Leafeon card currently listed by us is under the title “Leafeon VMAX HR 089/069 SA,” PSA10 graded, at ¥128,810 (~$810) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨).
We want to be direct about one thing: we could not independently confirm the exact set and card number against public Japanese card databases. Eevee Heroes (S6a), the set our internal listing associates this card with, tops out at card No. 87 — there is no No. 89 in that set — and a public search for a Leafeon VMAX doesn’t return a match. Rather than assert a set/number we can’t verify, we’re describing this piece by our own listing title only. If you’re researching this specific card, treat the set/number in the title as our internal reference rather than a confirmed external classification.
What we can confirm is the grading (PSA10) and the price, both directly from our own listing. If provenance detail matters for your purchase, ask us via 快速訂購 before buying and we’ll walk through exactly what’s on the physical card and slab.
Most of our Leafeon stock lines up cleanly against public Japanese card databases — set, number, rarity, all matching. This is the one exception, and we’d rather say so than present an unverifiable set/number as settled fact.
Older Range Context: Leafeon GX

Going further back, Leafeon GX (card 206) comes from GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b), an older Sun & Moon-era set. We don’t currently carry this printing in graded stock, but it’s worth knowing about for anyone mapping Leafeon’s full Japanese print history rather than just its recent SV-era cards — it predates the V, ex, VSTAR, and Nagaba promo covered above by several years of Pokemon TCG design eras.
If a GX-era Leafeon is what you’re after, get in touch through 快速訂購 and we can check current sourcing options.
Which Leafeon Card Fits Your Budget
Working from our own graded stock, here’s how the current lineup breaks down by spend:
- Under $100 — the Leafeon VSTAR SAR (210/172) at ~$92 is the most affordable PSA10 graded Leafeon we carry, and still a full alt-art special art rare.
- $140–$200 — the Leafeon ex SAR (200/187) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) at ~$140 or the Yu Nagaba promo (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) at ~$199. Both are single-card chase pieces from different eras and styles.
- ~$220 — the Eevee Heroes V SR (071/069) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨), the printing most collectors will recognise on sight.
- $800+ — the Leafeon VMAX HR (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨), our priciest listing and the one with the unverified set/number noted above.
If external verification of the exact set/number matters to your purchase decision, read the section above first — we’ve laid out exactly what we could and couldn’t confirm.
Where to Buy Leafeon Cards from Japan
We grade, list, and ship Japanese Leafeon singles out of Tokyo with tracked delivery. The card getting the most attention right now, by price, is the VMAX HR — but the two modern SAR prints and the Eevee Heroes V are the ones most collectors are actively completing sets around.
For the other four printings covered here, or to ask about sourcing the older GX-era print, our Quick Order page is the fastest way to build a mixed order. If you’re comparing Leafeon against its fellow Sinnoh-era Eeveelution, our Leafeon & Glaceon comparison guide ranks both side by side, and our best Eevee cards guide covers the wider Eeveelution family for context.
常見問題
What is the most valuable Leafeon card?
By our current listed prices, the Leafeon VMAX HR (089/069 SA) at ¥128,810 (~$810) is our most expensive Leafeon. Note that we could not externally verify the exact set/number on this specific piece — see the dedicated section above for details. Among fully verified printings, the Eevee Heroes V SR (071/069) leads at ¥35,179 (~$221).
How much is the Leafeon V SR from Eevee Heroes worth?
Our PSA10 graded copy of Leafeon V 071/069 SR from Eevee Heroes (S6a) is currently listed at ¥35,179 (about $221).
What is the difference between Leafeon ex and Leafeon VSTAR?
Both are special art rares (SAR) from different sets: Leafeon ex (200/187) is from Terastal Festival ex (SV8a), and Leafeon VSTAR (210/172) is from VSTAR Universe (S12a). They’re priced close together — ¥22,322 (~$140) for the ex versus ¥14,692 (~$92) for the VSTAR.
Is the Yu Nagaba Leafeon promo worth collecting?
It’s a distinct entry in the lineup — a Scarlet & Violet-era promo (068/SV-P) illustrated by Yu Nagaba in his signature flat, graphic style rather than the standard full-art treatment. Our PSA10 copy is listed at ¥31,668 (~$199).
Why can’t you confirm the set number for the Leafeon VMAX HR?
Our internal listing associates this card with Eevee Heroes (S6a), but that set’s public card list tops out at No. 87, and a search for a Leafeon VMAX in Japan’s public card databases doesn’t return a match. Rather than state an unverifiable set/number as fact, we describe this piece by our own listing title and grading only.
