What are the key facts about the Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box?
The key facts are a Japanese-edition box with set code M1S, 30 packs, 150 cards and a release date of August 1, 2025. The table below lists each fact with the page it comes from.
| 商品 | Detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| English product name | M1S-Mega Symphonia Japanese Pokemon Booster Box | Our product page |
| Japanese name | 拡張パック「メガシンフォニア」 | Official Pokémon Card site |
| 系列代碼 | M1S | Our product page |
| Edition | Japanese edition (日本原版, Mega 擴充包) | Our product page |
| Japanese release date | August 1, 2025 (2025年8月1日) | Official Pokémon Card site |
| Inside one box | 30 booster packs, 5 張/包, 150 cards total | Our product page |
| Card types in the set | 63 (the official card list shows 63 Mega Symphonia cards) | Official Pokémon Card site |
| Headline card | MUR Mega Gardevoir ex | Our product page |
| Official price per pack | 180 yen including tax | Official Pokémon Card site |
One detail is worth knowing before you search for the product. The official Japanese page is titled 拡張パック「メガブレイブ」「メガシンフォニア」. It covers two sets on one page, Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia. This guide is only about the Mega Symphonia side, M1S.

What is inside a Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box?
A Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box holds 30 booster packs, and each pack holds 5 cards, so one box contains 150 cards. This comes from our product page, and the official page confirms the 5-card pack format and the 180 yen price per pack (pokemon-card.com).
Our product page lists the card types that exist in the set. They are Commons (C), Uncommons (U), Rares (R), Double Rares (RR), Art Rares (AR), Super Art Rares (SAR), Ultra Rares (UR) and the Mega Ultimate Rare (MUR). The set has 63 card types in total. The official page states the 63-card count in its card list. It does not give a rarity for each card, so the rarity labels in this guide come from our product page, not from the official page.
The box is a randomized product. Our product page says the cards in each box are packed at random at the factory and that individual card pulls are not guaranteed. This guide gives no pull rates or odds, because neither the official page nor our page gives any.
| Measure | One booster box | How it is derived |
|---|---|---|
| Packs | 30 | Stated on our product page |
| Cards per pack | 5 | Stated on both the official page and our product page |
| Cards per box | 150 | 30 packs × 5 cards (also stated on our page) |
| Card types in the set | 63 | Official card list and our product page |
A useful way to read these numbers is to separate what is fixed from what is random. The structure of the box is fixed: 30 packs, 5 cards each. Which cards sit in those 150 slots is not. A box can hold repeats of the same card, and the set has 63 card types, so the 150 cards are not 150 different cards. Our product page does not describe how rarities are spread across packs, so this guide does not either.
Which cards are the chase cards in the Mega Symphonia set?
The chase card named on our product page is the MUR Mega Gardevoir ex, and the page also lists SAR Miraidon ex, SAR Gardevoir ex, AR Ralts and UR Ultra Ball Gold as key cards. Those are the cards the product page highlights for the box.
MUR stands for Mega Ultimate Rare, a rarity named on the product page, which calls it the “coveted” Mega Ultimate Rare. The page describes the box as featuring the “beautiful MUR Mega Gardevoir ex”. The official page tags several Mega Symphonia cards, and it names these:
- メガサーナイトex (Mega Gardevoir ex)
- メガラティアスex
- メガガルーラex
- メガユキノオーex
- メガライボルトex
- ミツルの思いやり
- ふしぎなアメ
For the card ミツルの思いやり, the official page says it is an essential card for decks that use Mega Evolution ex. I do not give English names for cards that our sources do not translate. Check the official card list for the Japanese names and card images.
The official page also explains the rule that makes Mega Evolution ex cards a risk as well as a strength. When a Mega Evolution ex is knocked out, the opponent takes 3 Prize cards (きぜつしたとき、相手はサイドを3枚とる). If the “ex” notation is new to you, our article What Does ex Mean on Pokémon Cards? covers ex, EX, ex★ and MA.

When was the Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box released, and how does the official page describe it?
The Mega Symphonia set was released in Japan on Friday, August 1, 2025, according to the official Pokémon Card page. Our product page gives the same Japanese release date.
The official page is titled 拡張パック「メガブレイブ」「メガシンフォニア」. It lists a price of 180 yen including tax per pack, with 5 cards randomly packed in each pack. It also describes a Premium Trainer Box MEGA (プレミアムトレーナーボックス MEGA) at 6,350 yen including tax. That box holds 10 packs of Mega Symphonia and 10 packs of Mega Brave, plus 172 cards in 51 types, some of them reprints from the Scarlet & Violet series.
The official page does not list a standalone Mega Symphonia booster box (拡張パックBOX). The 30-pack box configuration comes from our product page. If you need to confirm the box format for your own records, compare both sources: the official page for the set and pack facts, our page for the box facts.

Is the Premium Trainer Box MEGA the same as a Mega Symphonia booster box?
No. The Premium Trainer Box MEGA is a different product that mixes 10 packs of Mega Symphonia with 10 packs of Mega Brave, while the M1S booster box holds 30 Mega Symphonia packs only. The official page describes the trainer box at 6,350 yen including tax, with 172 cards in 51 types.
The two products answer different needs. If you want packs from both sets in one purchase, the official page describes the trainer box as the product that combines them. If you want a full box of one set, the M1S booster box is the product, and it carries only Mega Symphonia packs. The official page notes that the trainer box includes some cards reprinted from the Scarlet & Violet series, and it gives no such detail for the 30-pack box, so this guide does not make that claim for the booster box.
| Point | M1S booster box | Premium Trainer Box MEGA |
|---|---|---|

Which Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box format should I choose?
Choose the regular box if you want the standard product, the damaged box if the outer box condition matters less to you, and the carton if you want 12 boxes shipped as one unit. We list four Mega Symphonia entries, and each has different terms.
| Listing | What you get | 狀態 terms from the page |
|---|---|---|
| M1S-Mega Symphonia Japanese Pokemon Booster Box | 1 box: 30 packs, 150 cards | Brand new and sealed |
| M1S-Mega Symphonia Japanese Pokemon Booster Box – Damaged Box | 1 box, unopened, factory wrap intact | Cosmetic damage to the outer box (dents, scratches); sold as-is |
| Damaged Box, unwrapped version (separate listing) (更新:目前售罄 — 可透過 Quick Order 申請補貨) | 1 box, factory wrap removed, inner box unopened, contents factory-original | Cosmetic damage plus no wrap; sold as-is |
| M1S-Mega Symphonia Japanese Pokemon Booster Box – Carton | 1 carton (case) of 12 booster boxes | Ships as the carton itself, not as 12 individual boxes |
The listing pages show availability, so check the page itself for the current status of each one. This guide does not report stock.
What does a Mega Symphonia damaged box listing mean?
A damaged box listing is a Mega Symphonia booster box with cosmetic damage to the outer box, offered at a lower price than the regular listing. The page says the box is unopened and that the cards inside are unaffected by the damage.
Our damaged box page explains where these boxes come from. The warehouse is in Tokyo, and the shop buys large volumes of Japanese trading cards every day. Some boxes arrive with dents, scratches or other damage. Staff inspect each item against defined condition standards. Boxes that cannot be sold as mint-condition products are separated from regular stock and offered at a lower price.
There are two damaged-box versions:
- Wrap intact. The box is unopened and still in its original factory wrap. The discount is for cosmetic damage to the outer box only.
- Wrap removed. The factory wrap has been taken off. The inner box remains unopened and the contents are factory-original. The discount reflects both the missing wrap and the outer box damage.
Both pages carry the same terms. Photos are samples. The first image shows the regular product so you can identify the set, and the later condition photos are samples of damaged boxes from the same stock. The box you receive may differ from the photos, and the type and extent of damage vary by item. The item is sold as-is. The page states that the shop does not respond to inquiries about this item and that returns and refunds are not accepted. Read those terms before you order.

What is the Mega Symphonia carton, and who is it for?
The Mega Symphonia carton is one full carton (case) of 12 Japanese M1S booster boxes, shipped as the carton itself and not as 12 separate boxes. It is listed as M1S-Mega Symphonia Japanese Pokemon Booster Box – Carton.
The carton page gives these terms: the purchase unit is 1 carton (case), the contents are 12 booster boxes of M1S-Mega Symphonia in the Japanese language edition, and the listing ships from Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number. Using the figures from the single-box page, 12 boxes means 360 packs and 1,800 cards. That is arithmetic from the page figures, not a number stated on the carton page.
| Unit | 原盒 | Packs | Cards |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single booster box | 1 | 30 | 150 |
| Carton (case) | 12 | 360 | 1,800 |
The carton is the listing to pick if you want a full case of 12 boxes in one shipment. If you only want one box, use the single-box listing. The shop has no minimum order amount or quantity, according to the shipping policy.

How is Mega Symphonia different from MEGA Dream ex?
Mega Symphonia is a standard expansion pack with 5 張/包 at 180 yen, while MEGA Dream ex is a separate high-class pack with 10 張/包 at 550 yen. They are different products and should not be mixed up when you search for a box.
The official MEGA Dream ex page (ハイクラスパック「MEGAドリームex」) gives a release date of November 28, 2025, a price of 550 yen including tax, 10 張/包, and the rarities MA (メガアタックレア), AR and SAR. Nothing on that page refers to Mega Symphonia.
| Point | Mega Symphonia (M1S) | MEGA Dream ex |
|---|---|---|
| Pack type | 拡張パック (expansion pack) | ハイクラスパック (high-class pack) |
| Release date | August 1, 2025 | November 28, 2025 |

| Cards per pack | 5 | 10 |

How does shipping work for a Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box?
Mega Symphonia boxes ship from our warehouse in Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number. Standard shipping is FedEx International Connect Plus and expedited shipping is FedEx International Priority, and shipping cost is calculated at checkout from your delivery address.
| Shipping option | Service | Estimated FedEx transit after dispatch |
|---|---|---|
| 標準價 | FedEx International Connect Plus (with tracking number) | Usually 3-7 business days |
| Expedited | FedEx International Priority (with tracking number) | Usually 2-5 business days |
The shipping policy describes these transit times as estimates only. Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. That handling window is also an estimate. Business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays.
The policy lists other points that matter for a box order:
- Delivery estimates do not include handling time, supplier allocation delays, quality inspection holds, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather or destination-country conditions.
- If dispatch is delayed, the shop emails you with a revised estimate as soon as practical. For significant delays before handoff to FedEx, it may offer the option to wait or to cancel with a full refund.
- After handoff to FedEx, customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling and carrier events can delay delivery. The policy says such transit delays do not by themselves create a right to cancel or refund after dispatch.
- FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so enter a physical address at checkout.
Our single-box page adds that every shipment includes tracking and insurance, and that boxes ship directly from the Tokyo warehouse via FedEx.
How do I pay for a Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box?
You pay in Japanese yen by Wise bank transfer, PayPal, or a credit or debit card through PayPal. The payment methods page states that all payments are made in JPY, and your card issuer, bank or PayPal sets any exchange rate or conversion fee.
| Method | Fee and key terms from the page |
|---|---|
| Wise (bank transfer) | No payment processing fee. Without a screenshot, the order is cancelled automatically if payment is not received within 12 hours (3 hours if the order contains a pre-order item). With a screenshot (account required), upload it within 5 days; the price is held for a total of 10 days. |
| PayPal | Paid at checkout through PayPal. A 5% payment processing fee applies. |
| Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) | Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB; which are offered is decided by PayPal. A 5% payment processing fee applies. |
| PayPal Pay Later | Offered and operated by PayPal, where available. Availability is not guaranteed and the terms PayPal shows are the ones that apply. |
For Wise, enter the payment reference SST-{order number} exactly as issued. SWIFT payments incur a receiving fee of JPY 611, which is deducted before the funds reach us, so add JPY 611 to your order total if you pay by SWIFT. The page also advises choosing the OUR charge option for SWIFT so that correspondent bank fees are covered on your side.
For a carton order the 5% fee on PayPal and card payments would apply to a larger total, so the payment method is worth deciding before checkout. The payment page is the place to read the full terms.
What should I check before ordering a Mega Symphonia Japanese booster box?
Check the language edition, the listing type, the address and the payment method before you order. Each of these four points is covered by the pages cited above.
- Language edition. Every M1S listing here is the Japanese edition.
- Listing type. Decide between the regular box, the damaged box (wrap intact or removed) and the carton. Damaged boxes are sold as-is with no returns or refunds, according to their pages.
- Address. Use a physical address, not a P.O. Box. Before the shipment is scheduled you can change the shipping address yourself under My Account > Orders. The destination country cannot be changed, and if the new address costs more to ship to, you pay the difference before dispatch.
- Payment timing. Wise has deadlines that cancel the order automatically if payment is not received in time. PayPal and card payments complete at checkout.
Customs and import procedures apply once a parcel is in the destination country, and the shipping policy lists customs processing among the things that can delay delivery. Check your own country’s import rules before you order.

Our single-box page also links to the full M1S card list if you want to read the card names before you decide. The same page states the box is brand new and sealed and ships with tracking and insurance. The cards inside are random, and the page says individual card pulls are not guaranteed.
