What are the key facts about OP-13?
OP-13 is a Japanese-edition booster set released August 23, 2025, with 6 팩당 카드 and 132 + 1 card types listed on the official Japanese page. The table below puts the exact names and numbers in one place, with the official page each fact comes from.
| 상품 | Detail |
|---|---|
| 세트 코드 | OP-13 (the 13th booster pack, per the official news post) |
| Japanese name | ブースターパック 受け継がれる意志【OP-13】 |
| English name | BOOSTER PACK -CARRYING ON HIS WILL- [OP-13] |
| Edition covered here | Japanese original edition (our box is the Japanese edition) |
| Japanese release date | August 23, 2025 (Saturday) |
| English release date | November 7, 2025 |
| Japanese pack price | 220 yen including tax (official page) |
| English MSRP | USD $4.99 per pack (official English page) |
| Cards per pack | 6, randomly inserted |
| Card types | 132 + 1 (Japanese and Asia-English pages); 133+1 (English page) |
| Packs per box | 24 on our product page; the official pages do not state a box count |
Two things in that table trip people up. First, the official pages disagree slightly on the card type count: the Japanese and Asia-English pages say 132 + 1, while the English page says “133+1 card types”. We quote each as it is written and do not try to reconcile them. Second, the official pages do not state how many packs are in a box. The 24-pack figure comes from our own product page, covered further down.
What is OP 13 in the ONE PIECE CARD GAME?
OP 13 is the 13th numbered booster set of the ONE PIECE CARD GAME, and Bandai positions it as the 3rd Anniversary Booster Set. The set carries the subtitle “Carrying on His Will”, and the official English product name is “BOOSTER PACK -CARRYING ON HIS WILL-[OP-13]”.
The official announcement says the set marks the card game’s third anniversary and that the three brothers, Sabo, Ace and Luffy, are the main theme. The Asia-English page uses the tagline “Join the three brothers and celebrate the 3rd Anniversary Booster Set!”
Two debuts define the set. Per the official news post, Gol D. Roger debuts as a leader card, and Imu joins the card game for the first time. Both appear in the leader lineup below. The Five Elders cards also carry weight: the Five Elders parallel card uses an original illustration drawn for the set by Gege Akutami, according to the same post.
The set’s name connects to its theme. Our product page describes it as exploring the “Inherited Will” theme, with characters who carry on the dreams and ambitions of those who came before them. That is our description of the theme, not an official Bandai statement.

When was OP-13 released in Japan and in English?
The Japanese edition of OP-13 released on August 23, 2025, and the English edition released on November 7, 2025, a gap of roughly two and a half months. Those dates come from the official Japanese and English product pages.
Cards from a new set do not become tournament legal on the same day everywhere. The English official page notes that cards become tournament legal 7 days after the release date in your region, and that they are legal from the pre-release date at your local game store. Check the page for the rules that apply to you.
Other dated items on the official pages:
- An errata notice on card text typos is dated August 18, 2025, five days before the Japanese release (official Japanese page).
- The Premium Bandai lottery application period ran December 18 to December 24, 2025 (same page).
- Official Card Sleeve 12 released the same day as the Japanese set, August 23, 2025, at 880 yen including tax (official news post).
For a dedicated timeline, see our OP-13 release date article.

What is inside an OP-13 pack and booster box?
An OP-13 pack contains 6 randomly inserted cards, and our Japanese booster box contains 24 packs, which is 144 cards. The pack figures are official; the box figure comes from our OP-13 booster box product page (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
The official Japanese page lists the pack as “1パック:カード6枚” and states that cards are randomly packed. It also says specifications may change. The English and Asia-English pages add that multiples of one card may appear and that a full set may be hard to assemble. Our own product page says the same about randomness: individual card pulls are not promised.
The set breakdown below is from the Asia-English official page. The Japanese page lists the same numbers, though its second “コモン 30種” entry looks like a typo for uncommon.
| Rarity group | Types in set |
|---|---|
| Leader Cards | 6 |
| Common | 45 |
| Uncommon | 30 |
| Rare | 26 |
| Super Rare | 10 |
| Secret Rare | 3 |
| Special Cards | 10 |
| Special 3rd Anniversary Cards | 2 |
| Total (our addition of the rows) | 132 |
The rows add up to 132, which matches the “132” in the “132 + 1” count. The “+1” is not explained on the pages we reviewed, so we do not guess what it is.
The English page also lists these rarity groups: Leader Cards, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares, Secret Rares, Special Cards and Special 3rd Anniversary Cards. Our product page describes the box as including commons through Secret Rares “with alternate-art parallels”. It lists a leader count that differs from the official pages, so for leaders we follow the official count of 6.
Which leaders are in OP-13?
OP-13 has six leader cards: Monkey.D.Luffy, Portgas.D.Ace, Gol.D.Roger, Sabo, Imu and Jewelry Bonney. The numbers run OP13-001 to OP13-004, then OP13-079 and OP13-100.
| Card number | Leader |
|---|---|
| OP13-001 | Monkey.D.Luffy |
| OP13-002 | Portgas.D.Ace |
| OP13-003 | Gol.D.Roger |
| OP13-004 | Sabo |
| OP13-079 | Imu |
| OP13-100 | Jewelry Bonney |
The list is from the official English page. The Japanese page adds that Roger and Imu debut as leaders. Note the wording difference: the news post says Roger debuts as a leader card and that Imu “joins the card game for the first time”. Imu is not described there as a leader debut specifically, so we keep the two statements as they are.
Three of the six leaders are the brothers the set is themed around, Luffy, Ace and Sabo. If you collect by leader, that is the first group to look at. Our OP-13 rarity and chase card article goes through the full list.
Which OP-13 cards do collectors chase?
The cards the official pages put forward are the Three Brothers Super Alt-Art cards OP13-118, OP13-119 and OP13-120, with a Red Super Alt-Art version of OP13-119 Portgas.D.Ace. Beyond those, the Five Elders cards and the gold foil Event Alt-Art are the next group the official pages highlight.
Here is how the official English page groups the headline cards:
| Group | Cards |
|---|---|
| Three Brothers Super Alt-Art | OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy, OP13-119 Portgas.D.Ace (also offered as a Red Super Alt-Art), OP13-120 Sabo |
| Five Elders | OP13-080 St. Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro, OP13-083 St. Jaygarcia Saturn, OP13-084 St. Shepherd Ju Peter, OP13-089 St. Topman Warcury, OP13-091 St. Marcus Mars |
| Event Alt-Art | OP13-076 Divine Departure (gold foil) |
The Japanese page states the red card as “本弾限定で赤いスーパーパラレルカードが登場”, which means a red super parallel card appears exclusively in this set.

Our product page names Portgas D. Ace, Sabo, Monkey D. Luffy and Kozuki Momonosuke as key cards and mentions alt-art parallel chase cards. We do not publish pull-rate figures here, because none appear on the official pages we used. If you want card-by-card detail, read these guides:

What are the special editions inside OP-13: WANTED and Character Edition?
OP-13 includes two special card groups, a WANTED Edition of 4 cards and a Character Edition of 6 cards, both listed on the official pages. They reuse existing card numbers from other sets alongside new designs.
| Edition | Cards |
|---|---|
| WANTED Edition (4 cards) | OP09-118 Gol.D.Roger, OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy, OP13-119 Portgas.D.Ace, OP13-120 Sabo (the official English page calls these 4 new designs) |
| Character Edition (6 cards) | EB02-028 Portgas.D.Ace, OP07-111 Lilith, OP07-118 Sabo, OP09-009 Benn.Beckman, OP09-119 Monkey.D.Luffy, OP10-030 Smoker |
The Japanese page calls the first group the Wanted Poster Edition. The card numbers match across the English and Japanese pages. If you are building a collection around one character, note that these editions put older card numbers, such as EB02-028 and OP07-118, into an OP-13 context. Our OP-13 parallel and alt-art card list covers the versions in one article.

How does the Japanese OP-13 differ from the English edition?
The Japanese and English editions share the same set code and themes but differ in release date, price and some listed figures. The table compares what each official page states.
| Point | Japanese edition | English edition |
|---|---|---|
| Release date | August 23, 2025 | November 7, 2025 |
| 가격 | 220 yen incl. tax per pack | USD $4.99 MSRP per pack |
| Cards per pack | 6 | Not stated on the page we used |
| Card types stated | 132 + 1 | 133+1 |
| Card name for OP13-076 | 神避 | Divine Departure |
| Red super parallel | Stated as exclusive to this set | OP13-119 also offered as Red Super Alt-Art |
The sources are the 일본어 and English official pages. Neither page, as quoted in our research, says that the English cards differ in artwork from the Japanese cards, so we make no such claim. The English and Asia-English pages note that illustrations and product details may differ from the final product, while the Japanese page says specifications may change.
Why buy the Japanese edition? That is a collector decision, and we do not make it for you. What we can say is what you receive from us: a Japanese original edition product with Japanese text, shipped from Tokyo.
What other products are connected to OP-13?
The Asia-English official page lists Starter Decks ST-23, ST-24, ST-25, ST-26, ST-27 and ST-28, and the Premium Booster ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST vol.2 (PRB-02), as related products. It does not describe how they connect beyond listing them.
Two more extras appear on official pages. Buyers who complete a questionnaire can download a play sheet, per the Asia-English page. And Official Card Sleeve 12 launched alongside the set on August 23, 2025, at 880 yen including tax, with a lineup that includes Gol D. Roger, Sabo, Monkey D. Luffy and Imu, according to the official news post.

Where can I buy OP-13 from Tokyo?
You can buy the Japanese OP-13 booster box from Samurai Sword Tokyo, which ships from its Tokyo warehouse via FedEx. We list two versions: the regular OP-13 Carrying on His Will Japanese One Piece Booster Box (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and a discounted Damaged Box version.
The regular box page describes the product as brand new and sealed, with 24 booster packs of 6 cards each (144 cards in total), and states that it ships directly from our Tokyo warehouse via FedEx with tracking. The page also says plainly that this is a sealed, randomized product and that individual card pulls are not promised.
What is the Damaged Box version?
The Damaged Box is the same set at a lower price, with cosmetic damage to the outer box such as dents or scratches. According to the product page, the cards inside are unaffected.
The condition rules are strict, so read them before ordering:
- The photos are samples. The first image shows the regular product so you can identify the set, and the condition photos that follow show typical damage from the same stock.
- The actual item you receive may differ from the photos, and the type and extent of damage vary by item.
- The item is sold as-is. The page states that returns and refunds are not accepted, and that inquiries about this item are not answered.

The page explains why these boxes exist: our Tokyo warehouse takes in large volumes of Japanese trading cards, staff inspect each item against defined condition standards, and boxes that cannot be sold as mint-condition products are separated from regular stock. If a clean outer box matters to you, buy the regular version. If it does not, the damaged version is the option built for that.
How does shipping and payment work for an OP-13 order?
We ship via FedEx with tracking in two speeds, and most orders are processed within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address, and there is no minimum order amount or quantity.
| Service | Estimated FedEx transit after dispatch |
|---|---|
| Standard: FedEx International Connect Plus (tracked) | Usually 3-7 business days |
| Expedited: FedEx International Priority (tracked) | Usually 2-5 business days |
These come from our shipping policy, which calls them estimates only, not fixed delivery dates. They do not include handling time, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion or weather. After an order is handed to FedEx, timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities. FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so provide a physical address at checkout.
Payment details are on our payment methods page. All payments are made in Japanese yen.
| Method | What the page says |
|---|---|
| Wise (bank transfer) | The only method without the 5% payment processing fee. Deadlines depend on whether you upload a screenshot of your transfer. |
| PayPal | Completed immediately at checkout; the 5% payment processing fee applies. |
| Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) | Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB, with availability decided by PayPal; the 5% fee applies. |
| PayPal Pay Later | Offered and operated by PayPal where available; availability is not assured. |
If you pay by SWIFT through Wise, the page says a JPY 611 receiving fee is deducted and asks you to add that amount to your order total. Order stock can also change: the shipping policy says stock levels for sealed Japanese trading card products fluctuate, and if dispatch is delayed we email a revised estimate.
