What is EB-05 in the One Piece Card Game?

EB-05 is an Extra Booster whose theme is the heroines of One Piece. The English name is “EXTRA BOOSTER -ONE PIECE HEROINES EDITION vol.2-“, and the Japanese name is “エクストラブースター ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2”. The name carries “vol.2”, and our EB-05 vs EB-03 comparison, linked below, shows which heroines appear in both sets.

Our EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 Japanese One Piece Booster Box page describes it as the second Extra Booster starring the heroines of One Piece: new cards for Nami, Nico Robin and the other leading ladies, including parallel and super parallel cards. The official Asia English page adds that EB05-010 Nico Robin is a new Leader for Wisdom trait Characters, and that the featured heroines include EB05-004 Baby 5, EB05-028 Boa Hancock and EB05-043 Perona.

Three points keep the entity clear when you search. The set code is EB-05. The edition in this guide is the Japanese edition, which carries the Japanese names and Japanese-language cards. The English-language release is a separate product on a separate official page, and the Asia English page notes that an English version is planned. The sections below separate what each official page says so you do not mix them up.

What is the EB-05 release date?

The Japanese release date for EB-05 is Saturday, October 31, 2026, according to the official Japanese product page. That is the date that applies to the Japanese edition this guide covers.

The official English and Asia English pages give slightly different wording, so the table below lists each one with its source. Dates are copied from the pages, not calculated.

The English page also says cards in this product are tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region. If you plan to play with the cards, check the official English page for the rule that applies where you live. The Japanese page listed a lottery application period that ended on November 5, 2026, so that window has now closed. Our EB-05 pre-order guide covering the Japan box price and lotteries explains how that period worked, and the EB-05 release events guide covers the events around launch.

What is inside an EB-05 booster box and booster pack?

An EB-05 pack contains 6 cards, and our Japanese booster box listing says each box contains 24 packs, which is 144 cards per box. The 6-card pack figure is on the official Asia English page and the official Japanese page; the 24-pack box figure comes from our product page.

One detail matters if you cite numbers. The official pages do not state the number of packs per box: the Japanese page does not mention it, and the Asia English page says the box configuration is not listed. So “24 packs” is the figure from our own listing, not a figure from the official pages. The pack and card counts are straightforward arithmetic from there: 24 packs times 6 cards is 144 cards.

The product page also states the condition: brand new and sealed, shipped directly from the warehouse in Tokyo via FedEx, with tracking and insurance on every shipment. It also carries an important caution: this is a sealed, randomized product. The specific cards in each box are randomly packed at the factory, and individual card pulls are not guaranteed. The official English page adds a related note: because of the nature of the product, multiples of one card may appear, or it may be difficult to assemble a full set.

For a closer look at the box, price and bundle, read our EB-05 booster box buying guide.

How many cards are in the EB-05 set, and what is the rarity breakdown?

EB-05 has 75+2 card types: 75 cards across six categories plus 2 DON!! cards. The official Japanese and Asia English pages list the same breakdown, and the numbers add up: 7 + 29 + 21 + 9 + 1 + 8 = 75.

Source for the table: the official Japanese page and the official Asia English page. The official pages describe the total as 75+2 types, and the table copies that wording. The official card list for the series shows “96 results” (see the official card list), which is a separate figure from the 75+2 on the product pages. Use the product pages for the set-size summary and the card list for individual entries.

The official card list uses the rarity labels L, SR, R, C, SEC and SP CARD. Use these labels when you search the list. Our dedicated articles go deeper on each group: EB-05 set size and the official rarity breakdown, and all 9 Super Rares and the Secret Rare.

Which cards are the key cards in EB-05?

The early collector watch points are Nami EB05-055 (Super Rare, illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki), the Nico Robin Leader EB05-010 and the eight heroine Special Cards, as named on our product page. The official card list also shows a Nami Secret Rare at EB05-061.

The table lists cards that appear in the official card list for the series. It is a selection from the list, not the full set.

Two cards deserve a note. First, Kentaro Yabuki, the artist known for To LOVE-Ru, drew the parallel card EB05-055, and the Japanese page says it is also available in a regular version. The English page describes it as an exclusive alt-art of EB05-055. Second, EB05-061 is labelled SEC (Secret Rare) for Nami in the card list, which matches the single Secret Rare in the rarity table.

If a single character is what you are after, we have separate guides: Nami cards in EB-05, Nami EB05-055 by Kentaro Yabuki, Shirahoshi EB05-014 and Nico Robin in EB-05.

Who is the Leader of EB-05, and how many Leaders are there?

The headline Leader is Nico Robin (EB05-010), and the set contains 7 Leader types in total. The official English page lists EB05-010 Nico Robin with the Wisdom attribute, and the Asia English page calls her a new Leader for Wisdom trait Characters.

The official card list for the series also shows leaders from other sets. These entries appear under the EB-05 series in the list: EB03-001 Nefeltari Vivi, OP11-022 Shirahoshi, OP11-041 Nami, OP13-100 Jewelry Bonney, OP14-041 Boa Hancock and OP15-039 Rebecca. They carry their original set numbers, so if you are building a Leader collection, track the card number and not only the character name. Our guide to all 7 EB-05 Leaders and the heroine Leader list from the EB-05 event go through them one by one.

What are the EB-05 Special Cards and parallel cards?

EB-05 has 8 Special Cards in the official rarity breakdown, and our product page says the set includes parallel and super parallel cards. The count needs care, because the official pages do not read perfectly alike.

The official English page text mentions 6 types of SP cards featuring special designs, while the rarity breakdown on the 일본어 and Asia English pages says 8 Special Cards. The Japanese page’s SP card section also has some numbering inconsistencies. For that reason, use the official card list as the reference when you need an exact entry.

The official card list shows 8 SP CARD entries under the series. Only three carry EB05 numbers; the other five carry numbers with other set prefixes:

The SP CARD entries in this list carry EB05, OP01, OP14, OP17 and ST17 numbers, and the number is what tells the entries apart, so track it and not only the character name. Our articles on the 8 Special Cards reported for EB-05 and the parallels and super parallels list cover them in more detail.

What is the difference between the Japanese and English editions of EB-05?

The Japanese edition is the one released in Japan on October 31, 2026 with Japanese-language cards, and the English edition is a separate product with its own official page and its own date. This guide and our box listing cover the Japanese edition.

Treat the two prices as two separate official figures for two separate products. , and the $4.99 is the English page’s MSRP per pack. Neither tells you what a box costs in our shop, because our box has its own listing and its own price on the product page.

Another reason to keep editions apart: the Asia English page notes that the illustration may differ somewhat from the final product, and it mentions that an English version is planned. Our EB-05 vs EB-03 comparison shows which heroines return from EB-03.

How much does EB-05 cost?

The official Japanese page lists EB-05 at 240円 per pack including tax, and the English page lists USD $4.99 per pack as the MSRP. Those are per-pack figures from the official pages.

Our shop prices are separate and are shown on the product page. For the Japanese box, open EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 Japanese One Piece Booster Box and read the current listing price there. We do not repeat a price in this guide so that the page cannot go out of date. All payments to us are made in Japanese yen (JPY), as stated on our payment methods page, and any difference between the amount charged and the amount on your statement comes from exchange rates and conversion fees set by your payment provider or bank.

A practical tip on reading the numbers: do not multiply the per-pack price by the pack count and treat the result as an official box price. The official pages do not state the pack count per box, so any such figure would be your own estimate.

Where can I buy EB-05 from outside Japan, and how does shipping work?

You can buy the Japanese EB-05 booster box from our product page, and it ships from our warehouse in Tokyo via FedEx with tracking. The shipping rules below come from our shipping policy and payment methods page.

Delivery dates shown on the website, at checkout or in carrier tools are estimates and do not include handling time, pre-order release timing, supplier allocation delays, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing or similar factors. If dispatch is delayed, the policy says we contact you by email as soon as practical with the revised estimate. Once your order is dispatched, you can find the tracking number and the carrier’s latest estimate in your account or shipping confirmation email.

On payment, the options are Wise bank transfer, PayPal, and credit or debit cards through PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB; which brand is offered is decided by PayPal). Wise bank transfer is the only method without the 5% payment processing fee. PayPal and card payments carry the 5% fee. For a Wise transfer without a screenshot, an order is cancelled automatically if payment has not been received within 12 hours, or 3 hours when the order contains a pre-order item. Read the full terms on the payment methods page before you check out.

How should I think about buying a sealed EB-05 box?

Treat a sealed EB-05 box as a randomized product: the contents are packed at the factory, and no particular card is guaranteed. That is stated on our product page and echoed by the official English page’s note that multiples may appear and a full set can be hard to assemble.

That has a few practical consequences for collectors outside Japan.

• If you want one specific card, a sealed box is a random route, not a targeted one. The key cards in the table above are watch points, not promised contents.
• If you want the sealed product itself, check the Japanese edition labels, the set code EB-05 and the box configuration on the listing, and remember that the 24-pack figure comes from our listing and not from the official pages.
• If you plan to play, read the official English page for the tournament-legal rule, since it says cards are legal from the pre-release date in your region and that the product is tournament legal after 7 days.
• If you want extras, the Asia English page says a playmat is downloadable via a survey. Check that page for the current details.

Because the Japanese page’s SP card section has numbering inconsistencies and the official pages differ on some details, rely on card numbers and the official card list when you track a particular card. Our EB-05 complete guide for Heroines Edition vol.2 is the longer companion to this page.

Where do I go to order the Japanese EB-05 box?

Go to the EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 Japanese One Piece Booster Box page to see the current listing and price. Before you order, read the shipping policy and the payment methods page so the delivery estimates, handling time and payment fees are clear to you.
