This Suicune card value guide ranks the スイクン (Suicune) prints we currently list, using one number only: the price on our own listing, dated October 29, 2026. All of them are graded PSA 10 cards offered as back orders, so every price below links to its product page, where the current terms are shown.
It does not quote marketplace figures, past sales or forecasts. Where we do not list a print, the guide says so and points to Quick Order for sourcing requests. We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
- As of October 29, 2026 the ranking runs from the neo3 No.245 old-back print, ¥252,606 (~$1,640), down to the Pokemon Card Game Classic Suicune ex, ¥8,999 (~$58).
- The official Japanese card database holds 25 Suicune entries. We list the prints ranked here; the other prints are not listed, and sourcing requests go through Quick Order.
- Every figure here is our listed price on that date. Nothing in this guide is a market price, and it does not say what any card will be worth later.
How This Guide Reads “Value”
People searching for a Suicune card value usually want a market price. This guide answers a narrower and checkable question: what do we list the card for? A listing price is a statement by one shop on one date. It is not an average of sales and it is not an estimate of what a card might fetch somewhere else.
Four rules apply to every figure below.
- Only prices on our own product pages are used, and each one carries the date October 29, 2026.
- Every listing is a PSA 10 back order: a PSA 10 copy is offered at the listed price and sourced to order, and the product page shows the current terms.
- A print we do not list gets no number. It is marked “not listed; sourcing requests go through Quick Order”.
- The official card database does not print rarity letters. Where this guide writes RR, SR, SAR or ex next to a card, it is quoting our listing name, with the words “as our listing names it”.
For the card-by-card history of Suicune, our Suicune Japanese cards guide is the companion piece; this article only ranks the listings.
Our Listings Ranked by Listed Price
The table ranks our Suicune listings from the top of our price list to the bottom, as of October 29, 2026. Each price links to its product page. The last column gives the ratio between a listing and the one below it, calculated from the listed prices.
| 등급 | Card (our listing name) | 세트 | Currently listed at | Ratio to the listing below |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | PSA10 Suicune : Old Back [neo3 No.245] | Pokemon Card neo, Awakening Legends | ¥252,606 (~$1,640) | about 7.5x |
| 2 | PSA10 Suicune GX SR [SM8 098/095] | Super-Burst Impact | ¥33,786 (~$219) | about 1.8x |
| 3 | PSA10 Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172] | 하이클래스팩 “VSTAR Universe” | ¥18,620 (~$121) | about 1.8x |
| 4 | PSA10 Suicune GX RR [SM8 028/095] | Super-Burst Impact | ¥10,499 (~$68) | about 1.2x |
| 5 | PSA10 Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] | Pokemon Card Game Classic | ¥8,999 (~$58) | — |
The ranking spans prints from four different periods: the 2000 old-back era, the 2018 Super-Burst Impact set, the 2022 VSTAR Universe high class pack and the 2023 Classic deck set. The price list does not follow the calendar. A 2018 GX sits above a 2022 V, and the 2023 Classic card sits at the bottom of the ranking.
Suicune Old Back neo3 No.245

The top of the ranking is the oldest print. Suicune debuted in Neo Revelation in English, which Japan knows as Awakening Legends, released on Thursday, November 23, 2000. The official database does not hold this card, and our sources give no Japanese number beyond the “neo3 No.245” in our listing name. Our Legendary Beasts guide credits the three beasts of that set to Ken Sugimori.
An old back card is one with the card back used from the October 1996 launch until Pokemon VS on Thursday, July 19, 2001, and an old back card never carries a 1ED stamp; our Japanese old back cards guide explains the marks. This Suicune is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥252,606 (~$1,640) as of October 29, 2026 — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
Suicune GX: SM8 028/095 and 098/095

Two Suicune GX prints share the same set, Super-Burst Impact (SM8), and the same credit. The database lists スイクンGX 028/095 and スイクンGX 098/095, both with 180 HP and both illustrated by 5ban Graphics. The 098/095 print is numbered above the set’s 095, so it is a secret-numbered print; our listing names it an SR and the 028/095 print an RR (as our listing names it).
Both carry the same card text. Rendered into English: the Ability げんえいのかぜ (rendering: “Phantom Wind”) can be used once per turn while the Pokemon is on the Bench, and shuffles it and all attached cards back into the deck. The attack キュアストリーム (rendering: “Cure Stream”), 120, makes the opposing Pokemon’s attacks do 30 less damage on the next turn. The GX attack ブライニクルGX (rendering: “Briny Icicle GX”), 150, switches this Pokemon with a Benched one.

As of October 29, 2026 the SR is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥33,786 (~$219) and the RR at ¥10,499 (~$68), each sourced to order with terms on the product page. Same set, same artist, same text: the two prices differ by their print number and listing name, and this guide does not give a reason beyond that. A full breakdown of the pair is in our Suicune GX SM8 guide.
Suicune V 215/172 (VSTAR Universe)

The S12a set holds two Suicune V entries: 024/172 by Ayaka Yoshida and 215/172 by Atsushi Furusawa. Both have 210 HP. We list only the 215/172 print, which is numbered above the set’s 172; our listing names it a SAR (as our listing names it). The 024/172 print is not listed; sourcing requests go through Quick Order.
Rendered into English, the card has the Ability しゅんそく (rendering: “Quick Move”), which lets you draw a card once per turn while the Pokemon is Active, and the attack ブリザードロンド (rendering: “Blizzard Round”), 20 plus 20 for each Benched Pokemon on both sides. When a Pokemon V is knocked out, the opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

As of October 29, 2026 this PSA 10 is offered as a back order at ¥18,620 (~$121), sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The set is also on our VSTAR Universe card list.
Suicune ex CLK 010/032 (Pokemon Card Game Classic)

The bottom of the ranking is the Suicune ex from Pokemon Card Game Classic, a 2023 product made by nendo, Creatures Inc. and The Pokemon Company. Our Classic guide lists three 60-card decks, Venusaur with Lugia ex, Charizard with Ho-Oh ex, and Blastoise with Suicune ex; Suicune ex belongs to the Water deck and is described there as a Legendary ex with new artwork. That guide does not give the card’s illustrator or decklist, and the official database lists no Suicune ex among its 25 Suicune entries, so this guide states only the number and name from our listing.
As of October 29, 2026 the PSA 10 is offered as a back order at ¥8,999 (~$58), sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.

Matching a Listing Name to the Database
A listing name such as “PSA10 Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172]” contains three separate pieces of information: the grade, the rarity letters in the listing name, and the set code with the card number. Only the last piece, the set code with the card number, can be checked against the official database. The table pairs each listing with the database entry that matches its number.
| Our listing | Database entry | HP | Illustrator |
|---|---|---|---|
| Old Back [neo3 No.245] | None; the database does not hold old-back cards | — | Not stated for this listing; Ken Sugimori is credited for the Neo Revelation beasts in our Legendary Beasts guide |
| Suicune GX SR [SM8 098/095] | スイクンGX SM8 098/095 | 180 | 5ban Graphics |
| Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172] | スイクンV S12a 215/172 | 210 | Atsushi Furusawa |
| Suicune GX RR [SM8 028/095] | スイクンGX SM8 028/095 | 180 | 5ban Graphics |
| Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] | None; no Suicune ex is among the 25 entries | — | Not stated in our sources |
Two practical points follow. First, when you compare a listing with a card you own, match the number after the set code before anything else; the letters in our listing names are quoted from the listings, and the database does not print them. Second, the old-back and Classic rows have no database page to check against, which is why this guide states less about them than about the SM8 and S12a prints. Where our sources are silent, the guide says “not stated” rather than filling the gap.
Reading the Gaps Between the Prices
A ranking is easy to over-read. These are the limits of what the ranked numbers tell you.
- They are listing prices, not a market. One shop set each number on one date. A different shop, a different grade or a different date gives a different number, and this guide holds none of them.
- They are all graded PSA 10 back orders. The ranking compares like with like in form, not in era, set or print run.
- They do not rank the cards. A higher listed price is not a verdict on quality, collectability or future value. The only supported statement is the order of our listed prices on October 29, 2026.
- Two cards from the same set can sit far apart. The two SM8 GX prints share a set, an artist and the same text, yet their listed prices are about 3.2 times apart. The guide does not explain the gap.

Where to Buy Suicune Cards from Japan
The SM8 set is the home of the two Suicune GX prints, and we list its booster box.
The S4a Shiny Star V booster box is currently listed at ¥21,232 (~$138); the S4a set includes the Suicune prints 033/190 and 221/190. The graded listings are linked in the ranking above. For anything else, browse the card list hub or send a sourcing request through 빠른 주문.
On October 29, 2026 premium.gamepedia.jp and PokeGuardian reported a Japanese trademark filing for 「オーロラの波紋」, which collectors read as a possible Suicune set; nothing is announced. Our Aurora Ripples trademark guide (working English translation of オーロラの波紋; no official English name exists) explains what is confirmed and what is not, and the ex★ 2027 trademarks round-up covers all four names.
