Which Nihil Zero chase cards can you choose from?
The Nihil Zero chase cards in this guide are the five AR and SR cards we list graded PSA 10, all numbered above 080, the number printed after the slash. Their numbers and rarity marks below are exactly as written on our product pages.

This table is a shortlist, not the full card list. It covers the high-numbered cards we sell as graded singles. For every card in the set, see our Nihil Zero (M3) card list. For the card list, chase cards and how to buy in one place, read the M3 Nihil Zero complete guide.
We do not print prices in this article. The current price is always on each product page linked above.
How do you choose the right Nihil Zero chase card for your collection?
Start from what you collect: a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, a favourite Pokémon, or a link to the set’s official headline cards. Each goal points to a different card on the shortlist.
| Your goal | Card to look at | Why it fits (from official and listing facts) |
|---|---|---|
| A Mega Evolution Pokémon ex the official Japanese page names | MEGA Starmie ex SR (095/080) | メガスターミーex is one of the two Mega Evolution Pokémon ex named on the official M3 page |
| A Mega Evolution Pokémon ex that also appears in the English Perfect Order set | MEGA Starmie ex SR or MEGA Clefable ex SR | Both are among the four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in the English set’s official press release |
| A card tied to one of the set’s featured Pokémon ex | Rowlet AR (082/080) | モクロー (Rowlet), フクスロー (Dartrix) and ジュナイパーex (Decidueye ex) all appear on the official featured list |
| A Clefairy-themed pair from one set | Clefairy AR (086/080) with MEGA Clefable ex SR (096/080) | |
| A card that is not on the official page’s featured list | Espurr AR (087/080) | Espurr is not on the official featured list; our product page lists it as an AR numbered 087/080 |
Three questions narrow the choice quickly:
- Do you want a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex or an AR card? The two SR cards are Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. The three AR cards are Rowlet, Clefairy and Espurr.
- Do you also collect the English Perfect Order set? If so, the Japanese SR versions of Mega Starmie ex and Mega Clefable ex let you hold the same Pokémon in the Japanese edition. The official English pages do not link the two sets.
- Do you want one card or a set of related cards? One card points to a graded single. A group, such as Clefairy AR with MEGA Clefable ex SR, means buying two singles rather than hoping to pull both from packs.
What does a card number above 080 mean in Nihil Zero?
A number above 080, such as 082/080 or 096/080, is higher than the 080 printed after the slash on Nihil Zero cards. All five AR and SR cards on our shortlist carry numbers in this range.
The number is useful in three practical ways:
- Checking a pull. Anything you pull that is numbered past 080 is in the range this guide covers.
- Searching listings. Searching by the full number, for example “M3 095/080”, matches the exact number written in our product titles.
- Matching a listing title. Our product titles include the set code and the full number, so you can compare the number you want with the one on the listing before you buy.
The rarity marks AR and SR are the marks on our product listings. The official Japanese product page does not publish insertion odds, and we do not quote pull-rate numbers. For more on that topic, see our Nihil Zero pull rates article.

Which Mega Evolution Pokémon ex appear in Nihil Zero?
The official Japanese product page names two Mega Evolution Pokémon ex for the set: メガジガルデex (Mega Zygarde ex) and メガスターミーex (Mega Starmie ex). Our product listings also place MEGA Clefable ex, as an SR numbered 096/080, in the Nihil Zero set.
Mega Zygarde ex is supported by other cards in the set. An official Japanese deck-recipe article on pokemon-card.com explains that:
- コアメモリ (Core Memory) lets Mega Zygarde ex use the attack 「ジオバスター」.
- ガメノデス (Barbaracle) has the Ability 「ストーンアームズ」, which attaches Energy to Mega Zygarde ex.
- ロック闘エネルギー is also included in the expansion.
Mega Zygarde ex is not among the graded singles in this guide, so it is not on the shortlist above. For a wider look at the set, see our complete guide.

The other Pokémon ex the official page features are ニャースex (Meowth ex) and ジュナイパーex (Decidueye ex). The featured Trainer and Stadium cards are ポケパッド (Poké Pad, which the official page notes is a reprint), タラゴン, ピュール and ミアレシティ (a Stadium). Other featured cards on that page include ガメノデス, カメテテ, ヒトデマン, ジュゴン, パウワウ, ビビヨン, コフーライ, コフキムシ, クチート, デデンネ, フクスロー, モクロー, コアメモリ, ロック闘エネルギー and グロウ草エネルギー.
Should you pick MEGA Starmie ex SR or MEGA Clefable ex SR?
Pick MEGA Starmie ex SR if you want the Mega Evolution Pokémon ex that the official Japanese page names; pick MEGA Clefable ex SR if you want the one the Japanese page does not headline but our listings place in the set. Both are SR cards numbered past 080, and both are Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.

MEGA Starmie ex SR (M3 095/080)
Mega Starmie ex is one of the two Mega Evolution Pokémon ex named on the official Japanese product page, and ヒトデマン (Staryu) also appears on that page’s featured list. We list the SR printing graded PSA 10 under more than one product page, for example PSA10 MEGA Starmie ex SR (listing 39535) and PSA10 MEGA Starmie ex SR (listing 37426). The card and number are the same on both listings, so compare the photos and details on each page before choosing.

MEGA Clefable ex SR (M3 096/080)
MEGA Clefable ex SR is numbered 096/080 on our listing. The official Japanese product page does not name Mega Clefable ex among its two headline Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, so if you research it, search by the full number “M3 096/080” to land on the right card. Our graded copy is listed as PSA10 MEGA Clefable ex SR [M3 096/080].

On the English side, the official press release for Mega Evolution-Perfect Order names Mega Starmie ex and Mega Clefable ex among its four debuting Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, and notes that Mega Evolution Pokémon ex give up three Prize cards when Knocked Out (press.pokemon.com). If you collect both languages, either SR gives you a Japanese-edition counterpart to a Pokémon you may already have from the English set.
Which Nihil Zero AR card should you pick?
, Clefairy AR (086/080) if you are pairing it with MEGA Clefable ex SR, and Espurr AR (087/080) if you want a card that the official page’s featured list does not cover. All three are AR cards numbered past 080.
Rowlet AR (M3 082/080)
Rowlet is the lowest-numbered card of the high range we list. The official product page features モクロー (Rowlet), フクスロー (Dartrix) and ジュナイパーex (Decidueye ex), Our graded copy is the PSA10 Rowlet AR [M3 082/080].

Clefairy AR (M3 086/080)
Clefairy AR is numbered 086/080. If MEGA Clefable ex SR is already on your list, this is the AR to look at alongside it, since both are numbered past 080 in M3. Our listing is PSA10 Clefairy AR [M3 086/080]; check the product page for its current status.
Espurr AR (M3 087/080)
Espurr AR is numbered 087/080. Like Clefairy, Espurr is not named on the official page’s featured list, so search it by number rather than by name. Our graded copy is the PSA10 Espurr AR [M3 087/080].

Should you choose Japanese Nihil Zero or English Perfect Order?
Choose Nihil Zero if you want the Japanese edition and its M3 numbering; choose Perfect Order if you want the English-language set. The official English pages do not link Perfect Order to ムニキスゼロ / Nihil Zero, so treat them as two separate products, even though both feature Mega Zygarde ex and a Lumiose City Stadium.
Here is what the official English sources say about Mega Evolution-Perfect Order:
| English set fact | Detail | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Name | Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution-Perfect Order | pokemon.com |
| Retail release | March 27, 2026 | pokemon.com |
| Prerelease tournaments | From March 14, 2026 at participating independent retailers | press.pokemon.com |
| Pokémon TCG Live | From March 26, 2026 | press.pokemon.com |
| Number of cards | Over 120 | pokemon.com |
| Mega Evolution Pokémon ex | 4: Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Starmie ex, Mega Clefable ex, Mega Skarmory ex | press.pokemon.com |
| Pokémon ex | 9 | press.pokemon.com |
| Illustration rare Pokémon | 11 | press.pokemon.com |
| Ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards | 18 | press.pokemon.com |
| Special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards | 6 | press.pokemon.com |
An official English article on pokemon.com highlights Talonflame, Mega Zygarde ex, Telepathic Psychic Energy, Serperior and Rosa’s Encouragement, and calls Mega Zygarde ex “ultra rare”. These are English-set counts and rarity names. They do not tell you how many AR or SR cards are in the Japanese set, so search Japanese cards by the M3 set code and their full number.
If you are choosing between sealed products from the two sets, see our Perfect Order Booster Bundle and ETB vs Japanese Nihil Zero box comparison. For reference, the official Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box page lists 9 booster packs, 1 full-art foil promo card featuring Tyrunt, 65 card sleeves, 40 Energy cards, a player’s guide, 6 damage-counter dice, 1 coin-flip die, 1 plastic coin, a collector’s box with 6 dividers and a Pokémon TCG Live code card.

Should you open Nihil Zero packs or buy a PSA 10 single?
Buy the graded single if you want one specific chase card; open packs or boxes if you enjoy opening and want to build the set. Packs are random, so opening does not promise any particular card.
The official page states that each pack has 5 cards inserted at random. That fact shapes the choice:
| 路线 | What you get | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Graded single (PSA 10) | The exact card and number shown on the listing, graded PSA 10 (Gem Mint) | Collectors who want one named card, such as Mega Starmie ex SR 095/080 |
| Booster box carton | 12 Japanese M3 booster boxes, shipped as the carton itself | Openers, groups splitting product, set builders |
| Special Card Set メガエルレイドex | Promo Mega Gallade ex (holo) ×1, promo Power Protein (holo) ×2, promo Ralts ×1, promo Kirlia ×1, Munikis Zero packs ×8, Pokémon coin ×1 | Buyers who want a few packs plus fixed promo cards |
The Special Card Set contents above come from the official Japanese product page, which lists it at 1,980 yen including tax, released the same day as the expansion. Card names in that row are our English renderings of プロモカード メガエルレイドex(キラ仕様), パワープロテイン(キラ仕様), ラルトス and キルリア.

A few points to keep in mind on each route:
- Graded singles: our listings note that the PSA case may have minor scratches or marks on its surface.
- PSA items can sell on other channels: our shipping policy explains that PSA graded cards may also be offered through our other sales channels, so an item shown online may already be sold before we lock it to your order. Once your payment clears, we secure a PSA graded card matching your order, even if more sourcing is needed, and dispatch may take longer in that case.
- Cartons: the carton listing is one full case of 12 booster boxes, Japanese language edition, shipped from Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number.
If you are also comparing Nihil Zero with the Ninja Spinner (M4) box, see Munikis Zero vs Ninja Spinner (M3 vs M4).

What should you check before buying a Nihil Zero chase card?
Match three things: the set code M3, the full card number (for example 096/080), and the rarity mark. Check that all three match the card you want before you buy.
Use this short checklist before you check out:
- Set name in the search. Put the Japanese set name in the query along with the number, for example “Munikis Zero 087/080” or “ムニキスゼロ 087/080”. Include the M3 set code so results point to the Japanese set.
- Exact title string. Our product titles follow the format “[M3 number/080]” with the set written as 扩展包 “Munikis / Nihil Zero”, so you can copy the exact string to compare listings.
- Number in the title. Compare the full number in the listing title with the number you are looking for, for example 087/080 for Espurr AR.
- Case condition. Look at the listing photos; the PSA case may have minor surface marks.
- Several listings for one card. MEGA Starmie ex SR, Rowlet AR and others appear under more than one product page. Check the photos and details on the one you choose.
