Pokémon Storm Emeralda Booster Box: Japanese Box Guide

Pokémon Storm Emeralda Booster Box: Japanese Box Guide

Updated November 5, 2026

The Pokémon Storm Emeralda booster box is the Japanese edition box of expansion pack M6, released in Japan on July 31, 2026. Our listed box holds 30 packs of 5 cards each. This guide covers what the box is, which versions we list, what the set contains, and how ordering, shipping and payment work.

Key facts: Pokémon Storm Emeralda (M6) at a glance

The set is the Japanese-edition MEGA expansion pack “Storm Emeralda”, set code M6, released July 31, 2026. The table below uses only the official Pokémon Card Game page and our own product page.

商品 Detail
English name Pokémon Card Game MEGA 扩展包 “Storm Emeralda” (our English rendering of the official Japanese name on the official page)
Japanese name ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック「ストームエメラルダ」 (official page)
系列代码 M6 (the official page sits at /ex/m6/; our listings use M6)
Edition Japanese edition
Release date July 31, 2026 (Friday) (official page)
Pack price in Japan 200 yen including tax, 5 张/包, randomly inserted (official page)
Box contents (our listing) 1 pack = 5 cards, 1 box = 30 packs; condition Sealed, New (our product page)
Basic energy Not included in this expansion (official page)

One point matters for accuracy: the official M6 page lists no box product. The “30 packs per box” figure comes from our own product page, not from the official page. Treat it as the configuration of the box we list.

What is the Pokemon Storm Emeralda booster box?

The Pokemon Storm Emeralda booster box is a box of Japanese M6 booster packs, listed by us as 30 packs with 5 cards in each pack.

The set was released in Japan on July 31, 2026. The official page names the product “ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック「ストームエメラルダ」”. Our listing is titled “M6 Storm Emeralda Booster Box Japanese Pokemon Card” and describes it as the Japanese Pokemon Card Game MEGA Storm Emeralda booster box.

You can see the standard version on our M6 Storm Emeralda booster box page. The listing says “Sealed and No Shrink options available” and lists the language as Japanese. The condition is given as Sealed, New. It also states that if you order this item together with other products, the entire order is shipped together, and that anyone who wants other items earlier should order them separately. The language of the product is Japanese.

What does the official page say about the set?

The official page confirms the name, the July 31, 2026 release date, the 200 yen pack price and 5 张/包, and it shows a list of featured cards. It does not publish a rarity list or any English edition information.

That last point is worth stating plainly. The official M6 page has no box product, no rarity list and no English edition information. So this guide makes no claim about the number of any rarity in a box, and it treats the Japanese edition on its own terms.

The page also carries a few rules that matter if you intend to play with these cards:

  • Basic energy cards are not included in this expansion.
  • The two-piece stadium cards count as a right half and a left half, and a deck may hold up to 4 halves in total.
  • For deck-registration events, the right and left counts entered in the deck-building tool must match the actual deck.

The page also promotes Pokémon TCG Pocket content with Mega Rayquaza, scheduled for July 30 (Thursday), along with shield battle and sealed-event campaigns. It shows Mega Gallade ex (メガエルレイドex) as a sealed-event prize card, linked to the event 「メガエルレイドexSARゲットバトル」. These are event items shown on the official page.

Which cards are featured in Storm Emeralda?

The official page names cards including Mega Rayquaza ex, and our related articles cover Raikou ex, Kecleon and the SAR and MUR prints. The table shows what each source states.

Card or group What the source says Source
メガレックウザex (MEGA Rayquaza ex) Named on the official page; our PSA 10 listings name SAR 110/076 and MUR 113/076 Official page, our SAR listing
伝説の山頂 / 伝説の海溝 Two-piece stadiums (right and left halves) Official page
ヒガナの信頼, ぼうけんのランタン, とくちゅうチョッキ Named on the official page Official page
メガレックウザキャップ Named on the official page Official page
ファイアローex, メガグソクムシャex, ノクタス, ヨワシex Named on the official page Official page
Raikou ex 024/076, SAR 108/076, SR 092/076 Subject of our Raikou guides Our Raikou SAR/SR guide
Kecleon AR 088/076 Subject of our Kecleon guide Our Kecleon guide

The official deck-recipe article adds some play context. A Mega Rayquaza ex deck uses the attack ストームエメラルダ together with set cards ファイアローex, ぼうけんのランタン and ギリー, and the article says it can aim for over 350 damage. Another featured deck, a Bug Panic deck, uses ギリー, marked as a Storm Emeralda card. Both are described on the official deck-recipe article. That article does not state a release date.

For a priced list of the top-rarity prints, see our Storm Emeralda chase cards article. We keep the card-by-card detail there rather than repeating it here.

Which Storm Emeralda box version should I choose?

The regular listing is the standard Sealed, New product, and the two damaged-box listings are described as discounted items because of cosmetic damage to the outer box. The table compares the three listing types we have for M6.

Listing Wrap Outer box Key terms from the listing
Regular M6 booster box Sealed, new Regular product 30 packs, 5 cards each; ordered with other items, the whole order ships together
M6 damaged box (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) Shrink wrap intact, unopened Cosmetic damage such as dents or scratches Discounted; cards inside unaffected; sold as-is; no returns or refunds
M6 damaged box, No Shrink (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) Factory shrink-wrap removed; inner box unopened Cosmetic damage such as dents or scratches Discounted; contents factory-original; sold as-is; no returns or refunds

Read the damaged-box terms before you add one to your cart. The listing says photos are samples: the first image shows the regular product, and the condition photos that follow are samples from the same stock showing the typical level of damage. The actual box you receive may differ. The listing also says we do not respond to inquiries about that item, and returns and refunds are not accepted.

The listing explains why these boxes exist. Our warehouse in Tokyo buys large volumes of Japanese trading cards every day, and some boxes arrive with dents or scratches. Staff inspect each item against defined condition standards, and boxes that cannot be sold as mint-condition products are separated from regular stock and offered at a lower price than regular products. The listing also notes that orders for the damaged items ship sequentially once shipments to pre-order customers are complete.

What does the box look like, and how do I identify it?

The photos below show the box front, a stack of sealed boxes, and the back of the box with a JAN barcode. Use them together with the set code and name to identify the product.

Stack of sealed M6 Storm Emeralda booster boxes

Use the set code M6 and the Japanese name ストームエメラルダ as your identifiers when you compare listings anywhere, and check that the edition is Japanese. Our articles on the Delta Reign card list and Delta Reign ETB and box versus Japanese Storm Emeralda are separate pieces on the Delta Reign side, and this guide does not repeat their content.

Should I buy the box or a single card?

The regular box listing is a Sealed, New product of 30 packs, while the PSA 10 listings are individual graded cards. The official page says cards are randomly inserted, so a box listing does not name which cards it contains.

Listing type What the listing states
Regular box 30 packs of 5 cards, randomly inserted; listed as Sealed, New
Damaged-box listings Discounted for cosmetic outer-box damage; sold as-is, no returns or refunds

We also have an article titled Storm Emeralda Booster Box vs Raikou ex Singles for the Raikou prints. Another article, the Storm Emeralda booster box buying guide, is titled as covering contents, chase cards and price.

What are the PSA 10 Mega Rayquaza ex options?

We list PSA 10 copies of two Mega Rayquaza ex prints: the SAR numbered 110/076 and the MUR numbered 113/076. Both are graded PSA 10 (Gem Mint) according to our listings.

Two things from our pages are worth knowing. First, the listings say the PSA case may have minor scratches or marks on its surface. Second, our shipping policy says PSA graded cards may also be offered through our other sales channels, so an item shown online may already be sold before our team locks the allocation for your online order. Once your payment has cleared, we secure the PSA graded card matching your order, even if additional sourcing is required, and dispatch may take longer in that case. We provide status updates whenever the schedule changes.

How does the Japanese box compare with English Delta Reign?

This guide covers only the Japanese edition, and our Delta Reign articles are separate pieces. The official M6 page says nothing about an English edition, so we do not draw a link between the two here.

Our related articles are listed by title so you can pick the angle you need. Delta Reign Pokemon 卡牌列表: Every Japanese Storm Emeralda SAR & MUR is one. Delta Reign Pokemon Pre-Orders (Nov 6): US Retailers vs Japan M6 Box is another. For Japanese-set comparisons, see M6 Storm Emeralda vs M6a 30th Celebration and Abyss Eye vs Storm Emeralda.

How does shipping work?

We ship by FedEx with a tracking number, and you choose Standard or Expedited shipping. The shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address.

商品 标准价 Expedited
Service FedEx International Connect Plus FedEx International Priority
Transit estimate after dispatch Usually 3-7 business days Usually 2-5 business days
Tracking number Yes Yes
Cost Calculated at checkout Calculated at checkout

The transit times are estimates only, not fixed delivery dates. Per the shipping policy, most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. That handling window is also an estimate only, and business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays. The policy says there is no minimum order amount or quantity. It also says the FIRSTSHIP campaign ended on July 31, 2026, and the coupon can no longer be applied at checkout.

The policy adds that delivery dates shown on our website, at checkout or in carrier tools do not include our handling time, pre-order release timing, supplier allocation delays, quality inspection holds, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather, or destination-country delivery conditions.

Other points from the policy that matter for a box order:

选购本系列M6 Storm Emeralda Booster Box Japanese Pokemon Card
¥8,597有货正在促销
东京发货,含物流追踪
查看商品
  • FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so give a physical address at checkout.
  • After handoff to FedEx, timing is controlled by the carrier and destination authorities. Customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling, peak season congestion, weather and carrier events can delay delivery, and such transit delays do not by themselves create a right to cancel or refund after dispatch.
  • Stock levels for sealed Japanese trading card products fluctuate frequently. Dispatch can take longer because of supplier allocation changes, pre-order releases later than announced, inventory arriving later than expected, or a reserved unit failing quality inspection.
  • If dispatch is delayed, we email you with a revised estimate as soon as practical. For significant delays before handoff to FedEx, we may offer the option to wait or to cancel the order with a full refund.
  • You can check order status in your customer account. After dispatch, the tracking number and the carrier’s latest delivery estimate are available from your account or the shipping confirmation email.

The regular box listing also says that if you order it together with other products, the entire order ships together. To receive other items earlier, order them separately.

Can I change the shipping address after ordering?

You can change it yourself while the order is paid and its shipment has not yet been scheduled. After the shipment is scheduled, only a minor correction may be considered, and only under the conditions in the policy.

Before the shipment is scheduled, you update the shipping address from My Account > Orders > the order. The destination country cannot be changed, and the carrier, shipping method and FedEx service level remain those selected at checkout. If shipping to the new address costs more, we ask you to pay the difference before dispatch, and the order is held until it is settled. If it costs less, the shipping charge is not recalculated and no refund is made. A change takes effect only once it is shown on the order in My Account.

After the shipment is scheduled but before dispatch, the self-service change is closed. The policy says to contact us immediately via the Contact Form if you notice an error. A correction is possible only if the shipment has not been handed to FedEx, the processing stage still allows it, and we confirm that all shipping conditions remain unchanged. If we cannot confirm all of these, we decline the request. Verify your address carefully before you place the order, since the customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate address.

How do I pay for a Storm Emeralda box?

You can pay by Wise bank transfer, PayPal, or credit and debit card through PayPal, and all payments are made in Japanese yen. The payment methods page sets out the rules.

Method Fee Notes
Wise (bank transfer) No payment processing fee The only method without the 5% fee; the payment reference SST-{order number} must be entered exactly as issued
PayPal 支付处理费(5%) Completed immediately at checkout
Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) 支付处理费(5%) Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB; which are offered depends on your country and card
PayPal Pay Later Offered and operated by PayPal Availability is decided by PayPal; the terms PayPal shows are the ones that apply

Wise has deadlines that depend on whether you upload a screenshot of your transfer at checkout:

Wise option Deadline
No screenshot Order cancelled automatically if payment is not received within 12 hours of placing the order
No screenshot, order contains a pre-order item 3 hours instead of 12 hours
With screenshot Upload within 5 days; the order price is held for a total of 10 days from placing the order

The screenshot option requires an account and is not available at guest checkout. Without a screenshot or payment within 5 days, the order is cancelled automatically. Payments are confirmed during our business hours in the order received. If the sender name differs from the name on the order, contact us in advance via the Contact Form.

If you pay by SWIFT, a receiving fee of JPY 611 is deducted before the funds reach us, so add JPY 611 to your order total. Correspondent banks may also deduct their own fees, so the page asks you to select the OUR charge option (sender pays all charges). If the amount we receive is short, order processing is paused until the shortfall has been paid and confirmed.

For card payments, the card form opens in PayPal’s own secure window. A PayPal account is usually not required, though PayPal may occasionally ask you to sign in or create one. Your card issuer may apply 3-D Secure authentication, such as a one-time code or a confirmation in your banking app. We never see, receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code.

Any difference between the amount charged and the amount on your statement, such as exchange rates or conversion fees from your card issuer, bank or PayPal, is set by your provider and is outside our control.

Is PayPal Pay Later available for a box order?

It depends on your checkout. PayPal decides whether any Pay Later option is shown, and it may not appear at all. Pay Later is offered and operated by PayPal, and the instalment agreement is between you and PayPal.

Country Option at our checkout Schedule
美国 PayPal Pay in 4 4 payments, one every 2 weeks, first at checkout
英国 PayPal Pay in 3 3 monthly payments, first at checkout
France PayPal Paiement en 4X 4 monthly payments, first at checkout
Italy PayPal Paga in 3 rate 3 monthly payments, first at checkout
Spain PayPal Paga en 3 plazos 3 monthly payments, first at checkout
澳大利亚 PayPal Pay in 4 4 fortnightly payments, first at checkout
加拿大 PayPal Pay in 4 4 payments, one every 2 weeks, first at checkout

The page says each of these options is interest-free. In other countries PayPal may show a different option on different terms. Whichever option appears, the terms PayPal displays in its own window are the ones that apply, so read them before you confirm.

What should I check before ordering?

Check the set code, the listing type and the delivery estimate before you order. The list below puts the points from this guide in order.

  1. Set code and edition. You want M6, Storm Emeralda, Japanese edition.
  2. Listing type. Regular sealed, damaged box with shrink wrap, or damaged box with No Shrink. Damaged listings are sold as-is with no returns or refunds.
  3. Language. The box is listed as Japanese.
  4. Timing. Allow for handling time plus FedEx transit. Both are estimates.
  5. Payment. Wise has no payment processing fee; PayPal and cards carry the 5% fee.
  6. Shipping address. Provide a physical address, since FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes.

For players, basic energy is not in this expansion, and the stadium cards come in left and right halves. For collectors, the official page publishes no rarity list.
