Mewtwo GX PSA 10 means nine Japanese prints in the official Pokemon Card Game database on pokemon-card.com, as printed on October 7, 2026, and the Shining Legends (SM3+) 082/072 that our main listing names is not one of them. The nine rows run from SM3p 040/072 to the SM-P promos 363 and 364, and they credit three illustrators: 5ban Graphics, aky CG Works and MPC Film.
The database has no row for 082/072, so only what our listing names and what Limitless TCG and Bulbapedia attribute is stated for it, each with its date. The other prints are described as the prints they are, from their own database rows and official card images, and the SNKRDUNK asks are asking prices, not sales.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

What Mewtwo GX 082/072 Is
Our physical listing is named PSA10 Mewtwo GX 082/072 and carries no set code. Our back-order listing of the same number is named PSA10 Mewtwo GX ☆ [SM3+ 082/072] from the 强化扩展包 “Shining Legends”. Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (as of September 15, 2026) gives SM3+ ひかる伝説 (Shining Legends) a release date of 2017-07-15 and 72 cards in the main set, which is why a number such as 082 sits above the printed 072.
The table separates what is attributed from what is not verified for this card.
| Detail | Status for Mewtwo GX 082/072 |
|---|---|
| Number | 082/072, as named in our listings |
| Set | SM3+ Shining Legends, as named in our back-order listing; the physical listing names no set code |
| Rarity | Our listings mark it with ☆; no official rarity code is stated, so none is shown |
| Illustrator | Not verified for this number |
| Official card image | None: the official database has no 082/072 row |
| Set release | 2017-07-15, per Bulbapedia (as of September 15, 2026) |
| Cards in the main set | 72, per Bulbapedia (as of September 15, 2026) |
| Limitless TCG | No page for SM3p number 82; its SM3p set list ends at #77 (as of October 7, 2026) |
For the full story of the card family, our existing Mewtwo GX Card Guide: Every Japanese Print covers the Japanese prints from the SM3+ 082/072 to the Detective Pikachu RR.
Every Japanese Mewtwo GX Print in the Database
The table lists the nine rows the official database lists for ミュウツーGX, as printed on October 7, 2026, plus the 082/072 that our listings name. The set column gives a release date only where Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (as of September 15, 2026) carries the set.
| Set · number | Rarity | Illustrator | Set and release | Artwork against the other prints | Our listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SM3+ 082/072 | ☆ in our listing name (no official code) | Not verified | Shining Legends (SM3+), 2017-07-15 | No database row to compare | Physical PSA 10 and PSA 10 back order (see price table) |
| SM3p 040/072 | RR | 5ban Graphics | Shining Legends, 2017-07-15 | Same illustrator credit as 075/072 | Not listed |
| SM3p 075/072 | SR | 5ban Graphics | Shining Legends, 2017-07-15 | Same illustrator credit as 040/072 | PSA 10 back order ¥98,900 (~$642) |
| SM4p 036/114 | RR | 5ban Graphics | GX Battle Boost (SM4+), 2017-10-20 | Same illustrator credit (5ban Graphics) | Not listed |
| SM8b 219/150 | SSR | 5ban Graphics | GX Ultra Shiny, 2018-11-02 | Same illustrator credit (5ban Graphics) | PSA 10 back order ¥81,644 (~$530) |
| SMH 042/131 | Not given | 5ban Graphics | Set code SMH only | Same illustrator credit (5ban Graphics) | Not listed |
| SML 025/051 | Not given | aky CG Works | Set code SML only | Different illustrator credit, so different artwork | Not listed |
| SMP2 017/024 | RR | MPC Film | Set code SMP2 only | Different illustrator credit, so different artwork | PSA 10 back order ¥12,500 (~$81) |
| SMP 363/SM-P | Not given | aky CG Works | SM-P promotional cards | Different illustrator credit from the 5ban Graphics prints | PSA 10 back order (see price table) |
| SMP 364/SM-P | Not given | aky CG Works | SM-P promotional cards | Same illustrator credit as 363/SM-P | Not listed |
Two things follow from the table. Seven set codes are involved, so the printed denominator is the quickest way to place a card: /072, /114, /150, /131, /051, /024 or /SM-P. And the 5ban Graphics rows are not claimed to share artwork, because the database credit alone does not say.
The Shining Legends Prints: SM3p 040/072 and 075/072
Shining Legends is the set that 082/072 is named under, so its two database rows are the closest official reference. Both credit 5ban Graphics and both sit in SM3p, the code the database prints for the set Bulbapedia lists as SM3+ (2017-07-15, 72 cards).
Mewtwo GX RR 040/072 (SM3p)

The RR is the first of the two Shining Legends rows in the database. It credits 5ban Graphics. We do not currently list this print.
Mewtwo GX SR 075/072 (SM3p)

The SR is numbered 075/072 and also credits 5ban Graphics. Limitless TCG’s page for it reads “Shining Legends (SM3p) #75 · Secret Rare” with regulation mark A (as of October 7, 2026); the database rarity icon reads SR. The lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, October 7, 2026 was ¥8,900 (~$58) raw (product row) and ¥86,000 (~$558) among the 6 PSA 10 listings shown. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥98,900 (~$642), sourced to order.
SM8b, SM4p, SMH, SML, SMP2 and Promo Prints
Seven further rows come from other products. Each is a different card from the 082/072 and is described by its own database row.
Mewtwo GX SSR 219/150 (SM8b)

GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b) is a high-class pack that Bulbapedia dates to 2018-11-02 with 150 cards in the main set (as of September 15, 2026). The SSR credits 5ban Graphics. The lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, October 7, 2026 was ¥13,333 (~$87) raw (product row) and ¥79,000 (~$513) among the 7 PSA 10 listings shown. What we currently list from the set is on the GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b) card list.
Mewtwo GX RR 036/114 (SM4p)

GX Battle Boost (SM4+) is dated 2017-10-20 with 114 cards in the main set by Bulbapedia (as of September 15, 2026). The RR credits 5ban Graphics. We do not currently list it.
Mewtwo GX 042/131 (SMH)

The database page for 042/131 shows no rarity icon and credits 5ban Graphics. Only the set code SMH is given; the database page prints no set name for it.
Mewtwo GX 025/051 (SML)

The 025/051 shows no rarity icon on its database page and credits aky CG Works, a different credit from the 5ban Graphics rows, so its artwork differs from theirs.
Mewtwo GX RR 017/024 (SMP2)

The RR 017/024 is credited to MPC Film, the only row with that credit, so its artwork differs from every other print in the table.
Mewtwo GX 363/SM-P and 364/SM-P (SMP)

Both promo rows credit aky CG Works and show no rarity icon. The 363/SM-P is the print named in our PSA 10 back order listing of the SM-P promotional cards (see the price table). The 364/SM-P is not listed.
The English Counterpart: Shining Legends and Hidden Fates Prints
Limitless TCG’s page for SM3p 075/072 lists five English prints with the same card text (as of October 7, 2026). Only English set names and numbers are given. Rarity labels and illustrator credits are Limitless’s own.
| English print (Limitless) | Limitless rarity label | Illustrator (Limitless) |
|---|---|---|
| Shining Legends (SLG) #39 | Double Rare | 5ban Graphics |
| Shining Legends (SLG) #72 | Ultra Rare | 5ban Graphics |
| Shining Legends (SLG) #76 | Rainbow Rare | 5ban Graphics |
| Shining Legends (SLG) #78 | Secret Rare | Mitsuhiro Arita |
| Hidden Fates (HIF) #SV59 | Triple Rare | 5ban Graphics |
Four of the five credit 5ban Graphics, the same credit as the database’s SM3p, SM4p, SM8b and SMH rows. The SLG #78 credits Mitsuhiro Arita. Limitless does not give a Japanese counterpart number for the SLG #78, so it is not paired here with the 082/072. A Japanese-versus-English comparison for this card therefore rests on the 075/072 page and the set names, not on a verified 082/072 pairing. For the general differences between the two markets, see Japanese vs English Pokemon Cards.
What PSA 10 Means for This Card
PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards. The explanation of the scale is in What Does PSA 10 Mean on a Pokemon Card?, and the Japanese-card label is covered in PSA Japan: Label, Service and What “Graded in Japan” Means.
No label wording for the Mewtwo GX 082/072 is quoted; the slab photo on the product page shows what the label reads. When you compare a slab with a listing, use the three things that separate these prints: the number over the denominator, the set mark and the illustrator credit. The identification table further down sets them out. The gap between the raw and PSA 10 asks for this card is visible in the figures: the raw product-row ask for 082/072 was ¥138,000 (~$896) and the lowest PSA 10 listing ask was ¥692,000 (~$4,494), both on SNKRDUNK on October 7, 2026.
Dated Asks and Our Listings
The ask columns are SNKRDUNK figures, the lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, October 7, 2026. The product-row ask is the figure on the print’s product tile; the PSA 10 ask is the lowest among the PSA 10 listings shown. Both are asking prices, not sales.
| Raw ask (product row) | Lowest PSA 10 listing ask | |
|---|---|---|
| Mewtwo GX SM3+ 082/072 | ¥138,000 (~$896) | ¥692,000 (~$4,494) (7 PSA 10 listings shown) |
| Mewtwo GX SR SM3+ 075/072 | ¥8,900 (~$58) | ¥86,000 (~$558) (6 PSA 10 listings shown) |
| Mewtwo GX SSR SM8b 219/150 | ¥13,333 (~$87) | ¥79,000 (~$513) (7 PSA 10 listings shown) |

How to Tell Which Mewtwo GX You Hold
A Mewtwo GX is placed by the printed number and set mark, and for the 5ban Graphics rows the credit alone does not separate the prints.
| What the card shows | Print it points to |
|---|---|
| Number ends /072 | SM3p: 040/072 (RR) or 075/072 (SR) in the database; 082/072 is the number our listings name |
| Number ends /114 | SM4p 036/114, the GX Battle Boost RR |
| Number ends /150 | SM8b 219/150, the GX Ultra Shiny SSR |
| Number ends /131 | SMH 042/131 |
| Number ends /051 | SML 025/051, credited to aky CG Works |
| Number ends /024 | SMP2 017/024, credited to MPC Film |
| Number ends /SM-P | SMP 363 or 364, credited to aky CG Works |

How much does a Mewtwo GX 082/072 PSA 10 cost?
The physical slab of the 082/072 is listed at ¥698,381 (~$4,535) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) and the back order at ¥743,646 (~$4,829). On SNKRDUNK the lowest PSA 10 listing ask was ¥692,000 (~$4,494) on October 7, 2026, an asking price, not a sale. The back order is sourced to order.
When did Shining Legends (SM3+) release in Japan?
Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (as of September 15, 2026) gives 2017-07-15 for SM3+ ひかる伝説 (Shining Legends), with 72 cards in the main set. GX Ultra Shiny (SM8b) is dated 2018-11-02 and GX Battle Boost (SM4+) 2017-10-20 on the same list.
What rarity is Mewtwo GX 082/072?
The official database has no row for 082/072, so no official rarity code is given. Our listings mark it with ☆ in the product name. The database rows for the same card name show RR and SR for SM3p, which are different numbers.
Which English cards share the Mewtwo GX text?
Limitless TCG lists five English prints on its SM3p 075/072 page: Shining Legends #39 (Double Rare), #72 (Ultra Rare), #76 (Rainbow Rare) and #78 (Secret Rare), plus Hidden Fates #SV59 (Triple Rare), as of October 7, 2026. Limitless gives no Japanese pairing for #78.
How can I tell the SM8b 219/150 from the SM3p 075/072?
Check the number and set mark. The SM8b is 219/150 (SSR) from GX Ultra Shiny; the SM3p is 075/072 (SR) from Shining Legends. Both credit 5ban Graphics, so the printed number over the denominator is the deciding detail on the card.
How do I order a Mewtwo GX print you do not list?
Sourcing requests for a specific card go through Quick Order at samuraiswordtokyo.com/#quick-order. The Mewtwo GX products we list, including the PSA 10 back orders, are in the price table above with their linked prices, and each product page shows the current terms for that card.
