Collectors searching for “Suicune V 031/203 Evolving Skies” are looking for an English card, but the Japanese cards behind that search have their own numbers. The official Japanese card database on pokemon-card.com lists two スイクンV prints in S7D (摩天パーフェクト): 001/067, the regular print, and 068/067, a print numbered above the set count. Both are credited to Ayaka Yoshida, both are 210 HP Basic Pokemon, and both carry the same card text. This guide reads those two cards closely and then places them among the other Yoshida-credited Suicune V prints.
The English-set number in the opening line is a phrase collectors type, nothing more: none of our sources documents the English card, so this guide gives no English card number, date or price as fact. Every yen figure for our products below is the current listed price on October 29, 2026, converted at ¥154/USD, and every one links to its product page.
- S7D has two Japanese スイクンV prints, 001/067 and 068/067, both credited to Ayaka Yoshida, both 210 HP with identical Ability and attack text.
- 068/067 is numbered above the set’s 067 count, which marks it as a secret-numbered print. The official database prints no rarity letter for either card.
- Our Suicune listings for other sets include the sealed S4A-Shiny Star V booster box, the sealed product for the set in which the database lists Suicune 033/190 and 221/190. The set’s cards are indexed on our card list hub.
Ayaka Yoshida’s Four Suicune V Prints
The official database credits Ayaka Yoshida with four スイクンV entries across three sets. Two are in S7D, one is in the starter product スタートデッキ100 (SI) and one is the regular card in S12a. The table gathers what the database prints for each.
| Set and number | 商品 | Release | Database card ID | HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S7D 001/067 | 摩天パーフェクト | 2021 | 39670 | 210 |
| S7D 068/067 | 摩天パーフェクト (number above the set count) | 2021 | 39925 | 210 |
| SI 092/414 | スタートデッキ100 | Friday, December 17, 2021 | 40362 | 210 |
| S12a 024/172 | 高级包 “VSTAR Universe” | Friday, December 2, 2022 | 42285 | 210 |
The S7D year comes from the official card database; the S12a date comes from our legendary-beasts guide; the Start Deck 100 date is the official product date. All four cards share the same Ability, the same attack and the same 210 HP, so the number in the corner and the set code are what identify each one. For the wider history of the beast, including the older prints that the database does not cover, the legendary beasts card guide is the broader reference.
The Set: S7D 摩天パーフェクト
S7D is the Japanese set 摩天パーフェクト, the name our card-list guide renders as Skyscraping Perfection. It is the earliest set in the Suicune V group above, released in 2021. We do not repeat a full set list here; our S7D card list guide carries it, and the singles overview for all sets starts from the card list hub.

The regular card sits first in the numbering, 001 of 067. In a set, the first slot is not a statement about anything other than where the card is listed, and the database prints no rarity letter for it, so we name none. What the entry does state is the practical data: Basic, 210 HP, Ayaka Yoshida as illustrator and, as with the other V entries in the database, no Pokedex line.
001/067 Against 068/067
The second S7D print is numbered 068/067. A card number larger than its own denominator is the signal for a secret-numbered print: the set has 67 numbered cards in the main list, and this card sits one slot beyond it. The database does not print its rarity letter, so we do not either. It also credits the same illustrator as the regular card, Ayaka Yoshida.

| Field | S7D 001/067 | S7D 068/067 |
|---|---|---|
| Name | スイクンV | スイクンV |
| Illustrator (database) | Ayaka Yoshida | Ayaka Yoshida |
| Stage and HP | Basic (たね), 210 | Basic (たね), 210 |
| Position in numbering | Inside the 067 count | Above the 067 count, a secret-numbered print |
| Rarity letter in the database | Not printed | Not printed |
| Card text | Same Ability and attack on both | |
Because the credit is the same on both, you cannot tell the two cards apart by the illustrator line. The number is the identifier, and the official images are the way to compare the artwork. The database gives no description of either illustration, so we describe nothing beyond the credits and the numbers.
The Shared Card Text, Rendered From the Japanese
The official text is in Japanese. The rendering below follows the printed words; it is our English reading, not an official translation, and the effect names are renderings.
| Printed name | Type | Damage | Effect, rendered |
|---|---|---|---|
| しゅんそく | Ability | — | If this Pokemon is in the Active Spot, you may use this Ability once during your turn: draw 1 card from your deck. |
| ブリザードロンド | Attack | 20+ | Adds 20 damage for each Benched Pokemon on both sides. |
| Rule box | Special rule | — | When a Pokemon V is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards. |
The Ability “Swift Step” (rendering) is a once-per-turn draw that works while the Pokemon is in the Active Spot. The attack “Blizzard Rondo” (rendering) starts at 20 damage and adds 20 for every Benched Pokemon across both sides of the table, from the Japanese おたがいのベンチポケモンの数×20ダメージ追加. The standard Pokemon V rule applies, so a Knocked Out copy gives up two Prize cards. This is a reading of the printed words, not a statement about how the card performs in any format, and the same text is printed on all four Yoshida prints in the table above.
In the database text, Weakness reads ×2 (the type is shown as an icon) and Resistance shows none; the retreat cost is shown as icons and is not stated here.
What “031/203 Evolving Skies” Means for This Guide
“Suicune V 031/203” and “Evolving Skies” are the terms English-language collectors use when they search for the English card. We treat them as search phrases. Our sources for this guide are the official Japanese database, our earlier Suicune guide and our store listings, and none of them records an English card number, an English release date or an English price. So we state none, and we do not say whether the English and Japanese illustrations match. If you are weighing an English copy against a Japanese one, compare the English card against its own set list.
| 商品 | Status in this guide |
|---|---|
| Japanese S7D 001/067 and 068/067 details | Stated, from the official database |
| English “031/203” card details, date, price | Not stated; our sources do not document them |
| Whether the English and Japanese artwork match | Not stated; compare the images yourself |
| Print run or pull rate of either S7D card | Not stated in the official database or our sources |
What a buyer of Japanese cards can use is the Japanese side of the comparison: the number, the set code and the illustrator credit. That is enough to confirm that a card in your hand or in a listing is one of the S7D prints and not one of the later Yoshida prints with the same name and the same text.
The Later Yoshida Prints: SI 092/414 and S12a 024/172
The same Suicune V card text was printed again in the starter product スタートデッキ100, set code SI, released on Friday, December 17, 2021 at an official price of ¥790 per deck. The database lists it as スイクンV SI 092/414, credited to Ayaka Yoshida. Our Start Deck 100 guide explains the product line.
A year later the regular S12a card, スイクンV 024/172, appeared in 高级包 “VSTAR Universe” on Friday, December 2, 2022, again credited to Ayaka Yoshida.

S12a also holds a second スイクンV, numbered 215/172 and credited to Atsushi Furusawa, which has its own piece in our companion guide on Suicune V GG38 and the Japanese 215/172 print. In short: the four Yoshida prints share a credit and a card text, and the fifth Suicune V print has a different credit.
A Sealed Option: The Suicune Prints in S4a
If you would rather open product than buy a single, the sealed set to look at for Suicune is S4a, which our listings call 高级包 “Shiny Star V”. The database lists two plain スイクン prints in it: 033/190, credited to so-taro, and 221/190, credited to Kagemaru Himeno, whose number sits above the set’s 190 count. Both are 120 HP Basic Pokemon with an attack named スプラッシュ (“Splash”, rendering) at 20 and オーロラループ (“Aurora Loop”, rendering) at 130, which has you choose 2 Energy attached to the Pokemon and return them to your hand.

We publish no odds for any single card in a box, and a sealed box is not a promise of any particular card. It is the set the S4a Suicune prints belong to, nothing more. Note too that these are plain Suicune cards, not V cards, so they are a different family from the S7D prints above.
Graded Suicune Cards We List
We do not list the S7D prints as singles. The graded Suicune cards we offer are all PSA 10 back orders, meaning the copy is sourced to order and the product page shows the current terms.
| Card (as our listing names it) | 系列 | PSA 10 back order |
|---|---|---|
| Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172] | 高级包 “VSTAR Universe” | ¥18,620 (~$121) |
| Suicune GX SR [SM8 098/095] | 扩展包 “Super-Burst Impact” | ¥33,786 (~$219) |
| Suicune GX RR [SM8 028/095] | 扩展包 “Super-Burst Impact” | ¥10,499 (~$68) |
| Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] | Pokemon Card Game Classic | ¥8,999 (~$58) |
| Suicune : Old Back [neo3 No.245] | Pokemon Card neo “Awakening Legends” | ¥252,606 (~$1,640) |

A related listing is the Suicune V from S12a, a different print with a different illustrator credit but the same card text. The letters SR, RR and SAR in the table appear because our listing names carry them; the official database prints none of them. For a card we do not list, such as the S7D prints, sourcing requests go through 快速下单.
How to Tell the Prints Apart in Hand
Four checks separate the Japanese Suicune V cards without needing a rarity letter: the set code, the number, the denominator and the illustrator line.
| What you see | What it points to |
|---|---|
| 001/067 | The regular S7D スイクンV |
| 068/067 | The secret-numbered S7D スイクンV |
| 092/414 | The Start Deck 100 (SI) スイクンV |
| 024/172, Ayaka Yoshida | The regular S12a スイクンV |
| 215/172, Atsushi Furusawa | The other S12a スイクンV, with a different credit |
| 033/190 or 221/190, no V in the name | A plain S4a スイクン, 120 HP |
Among the prints in this guide, the denominator separates the sets: a /067 card is from S7D, a /414 card from Start Deck 100 and a /172 card from S12a. A number larger than its denominator is a secret-numbered print. For a graded copy, check that the number on the slab label matches the number you expected, and compare the card with the database entry for the card ID in the first table.
Where This Fits With the Suicune Trademark Report
On October 29, 2026 premium.gamepedia.jp and PokeGuardian reported a Japanese trademark filing for 「オーロラの波紋」 (Aurora Ripples is a working English translation; no official English name exists), which collectors read as a possible Suicune set; nothing is announced. Our Suicune trademark explainer explains what is confirmed and what is not, and the 2027 trademarks round-up covers the other names.
Where to Buy Suicune Cards From Japan
For a sealed purchase tied to Suicune, the S4A-Shiny Star V Japanese Pokemon Booster Box is currently listed at ¥21,232 (~$138). For a graded Suicune V, the PSA 10 copy of the S12a 215/172 print is offered as a back order at ¥18,620 (~$121), sourced to order.
Singles overviews for each set are reachable from the card list hub. We do not list Suicune V 001/067 or 068/067 as singles; sourcing requests for a specific card go through 快速下单.
常见问题
How many Japanese Suicune V prints are in S7D?
The official Japanese card database lists two: 001/067 and 068/067. Both are credited to Ayaka Yoshida, both are 210 HP, and both carry the same card text.
Is Suicune V 031/203 from Evolving Skies the same as the Japanese S7D card?
“Suicune V 031/203 Evolving Skies” is a search phrase English-language collectors use. Our sources do not document the English card, so we do not claim it is the same card as either Japanese S7D print.
What does 068/067 mean?
The number is higher than the set’s 067 count, which marks a secret-numbered print. The official database prints no rarity letter for it.
Do 001/067 and 068/067 play differently?
No. Rendered from the printed Japanese, both have the Ability しゅんそく (draw 1 card once per turn while Active) and the attack ブリザードロンド (20 damage plus 20 for each Benched Pokemon on both sides). This is a reading of the text, not a statement about performance.
Which other Suicune V cards did Ayaka Yoshida illustrate?
The official database also credits her with SI 092/414 in Start Deck 100 and the regular S12a card, 024/172. The other S12a Suicune V, 215/172, is credited to Atsushi Furusawa.
Which sealed product do you list for Suicune?
The S4A-Shiny Star V Japanese Pokemon Booster Box, currently listed at ¥21,232 (about $138), is the sealed product for the set in which the database lists Suicune 033/190 and 221/190. We publish no odds for any single card in a box.
