Toxtricity’s AR printing is one of the earlier-numbered cards in Pokemon’s 30th CELEBRATION AR block, landing at 109/103 — and unlike a handful of its neighbours, it already has a published official image, not just a compiled placeholder pointing back to the regular print.
The set releases worldwide on 16 September 2026, five days from today. This guide covers what’s confirmed about Toxtricity AR 109/103, how it compares to the regular main-set print at 051/103, and what similar Toxtricity cards are asking for on the secondary market right now.
Toxtricity AR sits at 109/103 in M6a’s 20-card AR block (104–123), and already has a published official AR image — not every card in the block does yet. Toxtricity PSA10 graded singles from earlier prints are currently listed on our site: Toxtricity ex (SV-P 243) at ¥6,803 (~$44) and Toxtricity AR (VSTAR Universe) at ¥5,832 (~$38).
Yen figures below convert at ¥154/USD. Every market figure attached to a card in this guide is a dated SNKRDUNK asking price or our own listed price, never a past sale.
What Is Toxtricity AR 109/103?
Pokemon published the official card list for M6a 30th CELEBRATION on 9 September 2026, covering the main set (001–103), the Classic Collection (136–165) and the eight Basic Energy. The AR/SAR/FUR secret-rare block, numbers 104–135, sits outside that official database and is compiled instead from official promotional images and PokeBeach’s list from the same week.
Toxtricity AR is part of that compiled block, at number 109/103. It’s one of the cards in the run that already has a dedicated official AR image published, alongside the regular print’s own image — a more complete picture than some of its AR-block neighbours currently have.

Our own Toxtricity VMAX card guide covers the character’s other Japanese printings, and the 30th CELEBRATION card list guide is the hub for the whole set.
The Regular Print: Toxtricity 051/103

Toxtricity’s regular main-set print is confirmed in the official database: JP name ストリンダー, illustrator Yuriko Akase, Lightning type, HP140, Stage 1, evolving from Toxel. Card text as translated by PokeBeach on 9 September 2026:
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Card number | 051/103 (regular) / 109/103 (AR) |
| Type / HP | Lightning / 140 |
| Stage | Stage 1 — evolves from Toxel |
| Attack [L] | Light Punch — 40 damage |
| Attack [L][C][C] | Thunderous Bolt — 150 damage; during your next turn, this Pokemon can’t use attacks |
| Weakness | Fighting (×2) |
| Retreat | 2 |
The 109/103 AR printing shares this exact text and stats with the regular print. As with every card in the AR/SAR/FUR tier, the illustrator behind the AR artwork specifically is not published by Pokemon — only Yuriko Akase’s credit for the regular print is confirmed.
The AR Block: Where 109 Sits
M6a’s compiled secret-rare numbering runs 104–135: AR (Art Rare) at 104–123 (20 cards), SAR (Special Art Rare) at 124–133 (10 cards), and FUR (Futuristic Rare) at 134–135 (2 cards). As of 9 September, 18 of the 20 AR cards have been shown, with two — 119 Kommo-o and 121 Ditto — still expected but not yet shown anywhere.
Toxtricity sits at 109, between Zapdos AR (108) and Morpeko AR (110), in the early-middle stretch of the AR run. Two other cards that follow it in the numbering also have their own published AR images:
See our companion guides for Chandelure AR 112/103 and Gholdengo AR 118/103, and our secret-rare numbering explainer for the logic behind the whole 104–135 block.
Toxtricity on the Battlefield
Toxtricity is a mid-game closer rather than an early attacker. Light Punch, at a single Lightning energy, provides a cheap 40-damage option while you’re setting up. Thunderous Bolt is the real payoff — 150 damage for one Lightning and two Colorless energy, enough to knock out most non-ex Basics and many Stage 1s in one swing, with the tradeoff that Toxtricity can’t attack again the following turn.
That tradeoff is identical across every printing of the card. The regular 051/103 and the AR 109/103 play exactly the same — the difference is entirely cosmetic, foil pattern and border on the regular, full-bleed alternate art on the AR.
One 20-pack box opened ahead of release and reported by PokeBeach contained 20 of the 30 Pikachu, 2 Classic Collection cards, 4 AR, 1 SAR and 1 FUR — one documented opening, not a published pull rate.
Toxtricity PSA10s Listed on Our Site Today
While M6a hasn’t released, Toxtricity already has graded PSA10 singles currently listed on our site from earlier print runs:
Neither is the M6a print — both are earlier Japanese Toxtricity cards, graded PSA10. They’re useful context for what a graded Toxtricity currently commands, and they’re currently listed.
What the M6a Print Might Trade Near
There’s no secondary-market sale for Toxtricity AR 109/103 itself yet since M6a hasn’t released. As a same-Pokemon reference point, the Toxtricity AR from VSTAR Universe (s12a 181/172) — the card pictured graded above — has a lowest asking price on SNKRDUNK of ¥1,000 (~$6) as of September 11, 2026, across 16 listings (any condition, ungraded copies included — not comparable to the PSA10 above).
M6a sealed product has moved noticeably ahead of release: SNKRDUNK’s lowest ask on the sealed 20-pack box was ¥47,200 on September 1, ¥28,200 on September 10, and ¥23,599 on September 11 — asks, not sales, and no forecast of where it settles after release.
