Crown Zenith closed out the Sword & Shield era in English on 20 January 2023, and its 70-card Galarian Gallery secret set is where almost all of the chase value in that release sits. That secret set is a translation job, not a new design — nearly every gold VSTAR, trainer full art, and Pokemon V/VSTAR card in the Galarian Gallery first appeared seven weeks earlier in Japan, inside S12a VSTAR Universe.
This guide ranks the ten Crown Zenith chase cards we’re asked about most, pairs each one with its exact Japanese equivalent — set code, card number, and printed rarity — and shows what we currently have graded PSA 10. Crown Zenith’s Galarian Gallery (GG01–GG70) is built from Japan’s S12a VSTAR Universe, released 2 December 2022. Our highest currently listed PSA 10 among these ten chase cards is Mewtwo VSTAR SAR at ¥30,796 (~$194), and sealed boxes of the Japanese set are currently listed at ¥30,870 (~$194).
How We Ranked These
We ranked these ten by our own PSA 10 listings first, ordered from highest to lowest current price. For any card without a PSA 10 listing, our fallback order is Japanese printed rarity tier — Ultra Rare (UR) above Special Art Rare (SAR) above Art Rare (AR). Every card below happens to have a PSA 10 currently listed on our site, so the list is a straight price ranking of those ten graded copies.
We do not quote third-party market values — no TCGplayer, no eBay, no PriceCharting — anywhere in this article. Every price is our own listed price for a graded PSA 10 copy, in Japanese yen with a rough USD conversion at ¥159/USD (September 2026).

The Top 10 Chase Cards
Numbers below are Japan’s S12a VSTAR Universe printed numbers, out of a 172-card base set. English numbers are the Crown Zenith Galarian Gallery’s own GG01–GG70 sequence. Nine of the ten are genuine Galarian Gallery members, ranked by our own currently listed PSA 10 price; the tenth is a Japan-only bonus (Charizard VSTAR, flagged separately below) that never got a Galarian Gallery print at all.

Japanese equivalent: ミュウツーVSTAR, S12a 221/172, Special Art Rare, illustrated by GOSSAN — the same artist and artwork as the English Galarian Gallery print. It’s our highest currently listed PSA 10 among these ten cards: currently listed at ¥30,796 (~$194).
2. Entei V — Galarian Gallery GG36
Japanese equivalent: エンテイV, S12a 213/172, Special Art Rare, illustrated by Shigenori Negishi — same artwork as the English GG36 print. Currently listed at ¥15,664 (~$99).
3. Suicune V — Galarian Gallery GG38
Japanese equivalent: スイクンV, S12a 215/172, Special Art Rare, illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa — same artwork as the English GG38 print. Currently listed at ¥15,400 (~$97).
4. Leafeon VSTAR — Galarian Gallery GG35
Japanese equivalent: リーフィアVSTAR, S12a 210/172, Special Art Rare, illustrated by Jiro Sasumo — same artwork as the English GG35 print, which opens the Galarian Gallery sequence. Currently listed at ¥14,274 (~$90).
5. Glaceon VSTAR — Galarian Gallery GG40

Bonus: Charizard VSTAR — a Japan-only chase, not in the Crown Zenith checklist
Japanese equivalent: リザードンVSTAR, S12a 212/172, Special Art Rare, illustrated by KIYOTAKA OSHIYAMA. This one isn’t part of the official Crown Zenith checklist — the Galarian Gallery never got a Charizard VSTAR — so there’s no Crown Zenith card number to give it, and it isn’t counted among the nine numbered picks above. We’re including it because it’s our second-highest currently listed PSA 10 among S12a’s V/VSTAR/VMAX chase cards, and collector demand for it is driven entirely by the Japanese print. Currently listed at ¥30,248 (~$190).
Two other Galarian Gallery cards are worth knowing even though they didn’t make the numbered nine on price: the gold Ultra Rares Giratina VSTAR (GG69) and Arceus VSTAR (GG70), matching Japan’s UR-tier ギラティナVSTAR (S12a 261/172 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)) and アルセウスVSTAR (S12a 262/172 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)), both illustrated by AKIRA EGAWA.
