The Japanese Concept Pack: CP6 20th Anniversary

The official pokemon-card.com product page names CP6 as a concept pack of the XY BREAK series, dates it to September 16, 2016, prices it at ¥300 plus tax per pack and prints 10 cartas por sobre. It also notes that the cards can be mixed with XY BREAK series cards for play. The page prints no packs-per-box figure. The official database numbers the set 001/087 to 103/087, with SR cards from 088/087 to 100/087 and U cards at 101/087, 102/087 and 103/087.

The Nine Full-Art Cards, 100 to 108, and Their CP6 SR Prints

Limitless TCG matches each of the nine English full-art cards to a CP6 SR print, numbered 089/087 to 100/087, and the official database credits every one of them to the same illustrator as the English card. Secret Rare Cards 109 to 113: Promos and Uncommons

None of the five English Secret Rare cards has a Japanese SR print. Limitless TCG lists a CP6 Uncommon print for 109 ナッシー, 112 Imakuni?’s Doduo and 113 Here Comes Team Rocket!, and XY promo prints for 110 Flying Pikachu, 111 Surfing Pikachu and 113. The English card numbered 109 carries its Japanese name, ナッシー[Exeggutor], in the Limitless list.

The XYP numbers in the table are Limitless TCG’s.

Reading a Card’s Region at a Glance

Printed numbers differ between the two regions in ways the tables above show. The English full-art M Venusaur-EX is numbered 100 in the English list, while its Japanese SR is printed 089/087; the Japanese number sits above the 087 main-set count, which is how the Japanese secret range reads. The Japanese database prints the card names in Japanese: フシギバナEX for Venusaur EX, リザードンEX for Charizard EX, カメックスEX for Blastoise EX.

Because the official Japanese database credits the same illustrator as the English card on the matched SR prints, the printed details to check on a Japanese card are the set code, the number over the 087 denominator, the rarity icon and the Japanese name.
