What is the PRB-01 booster box?
It is the sealed box version of Bandai’s first ONE PIECE Card Game reprint pack, which collects popular cards from earlier products, some with new illustrations. The official announcement of June 6, 2024 describes it as the first reprint pack for the game, with popular characters including Luffy. Bandai’s catalog entry adds that it collects selected cards from previous starter decks, booster packs and promotional cards, with some parallel illustrations newly drawn.
That makes PRB-01 a reprint collection. Our product page describes it as a premium best-of collection featuring the most popular cards from OP-01 through OP-06, reprinted with exclusive new artwork and premium treatments. The official English page separately lists a new Sanji Leader card in the set.
The box is a sealed Japanese-edition product with a randomized result. It will not give you one specific card on demand, because the product page states that the specific cards in each box are randomly packed at the factory and that individual card pulls are not guaranteed.
Bandai lists the recommended age as 9 and up, and says the product is sold in toy departments and similar retail sections. It also notes that the release date is a planned date and may vary by region or store, and that product details may change.
Two exact names matter when you search. The English name is PREMIUM BOOSTER -ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST- [PRB-01]. The Japanese name is ONE PIECEカードゲーム プレミアムブースター ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST【PRB-01】. We sell the Japanese edition, labelled Édition originale japonaise on our product page.
What is inside a PRB-01 booster box?
A Japanese PRB-01 booster box contains 10 booster packs, each with 10 cards, for 100 cards per box, according to our product page (mise à jour : épuisé — demande de réassort via Quick Order). The Asia English official page confirms the pack size: one pack of 10 cards.
The set is described as 111+30 card types. The official rarity breakdown is below, from the official English product page.
| Category | Card types |
|---|---|
| Leader | 1 |
| Common | 23 |
| Uncommon | 25 |
| Rare | 21 |
| Super Rare | 29 |
| Secret Rare | 8 |
| Promotion | 4 |
| Subtotal of the rows above (our addition) | 111 |
| DON!! cards | 30 |
The rows from Leader to Promotion add up to 111, which matches the first number in 111+30. The DON!! cards are listed as 30 on the same page. The English page says the set includes 30 new DON!! cards, some with gold foil, and the Asia English page describes them as 30 new DON!! cards, some with gold effects. Our product page also mentions special gold-stamped parallel cards.
Both official pages carry the same note: due to the nature of the product, multiples of one card may appear, or it may be difficult to assemble a full set. A box is a sealed, randomized product, and our product page says individual card pulls are not guaranteed.
The English official page lists no card names in text, only image IDs such as OP01-033, OP03-123, OP02-018 and EB02-001. That is why this guide does not name individual cards beyond what the official pages state. The card the official pages identify is the new Sanji Leader, numbered EB02-001, with an alternate art version numbered EB02-001p, as listed on the Asia English page.
The one-piece.com announcement adds that the set includes over 50 new parallel illustration cards. Treat that as the official headline number for new parallel art. This guide does not give odds for any card.
The official pages also give a per-pack price. Bandai and one-piece.com show 550 yen, tax included, and the English site shows an MSRP of USD $5.49 per pack. These are pack-level figures from the publisher. Our box price is on the product page, and we do not derive one from the pack price here.
Which PRB-01 release date is correct: July 27 or November 8, 2024?
Bandai and one-piece.com give July 27, 2024, and the official English-language site gives November 8, 2024. Both dates appear in official sources, so name the source when you quote one.
| Source | Date it gives | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| one-piece.com news 66734 | July 27, 2024 (Saturday) | Announced June 6, 2024 |
| Bandai catalog | July 27, 2024 | Planned date; may vary by region or store |
| Asia English site | July 27, 2024 | Release date shown on the Asia English page |
| English site | November 8, 2024; legal date November 15, 2024 | Release date and tournament-legal date on that site |
Our own product page lists « Date de sortie japonaise: November 8, 2024 ». That matches the English-site date rather than the July 27, 2024 date given by Bandai and one-piece.com. When you cite the release, name the source you are using.
On tournament use, the English page says the cards are tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region, and gives November 15, 2024 as the legal date on that site.
One more date appears on the Asia English page: a « Let’s Get Started Campaign » that gave 1 Promotion Pack for every 4 packs purchased, starting January 18, 2025 until stocks last. The page says only the Japanese version of the product was eligible, and that the STORAGE BOX SET was not. The campaign terms are on that page, and we do not state here how they apply to any order.
How does the Japanese PRB-01 box compare with the English site’s listing?
The official English and Asia English pages both list 111+30 card types and a new Sanji Leader, and they differ from Bandai’s Japanese pages in release date and price format. Our box is the Édition originale japonaise.
The English page adds the rarity counts shown above and an MSRP of USD $5.49 per pack. Bandai and one-piece.com show 550 yen, tax included, for the product. We do not convert or multiply these figures into a box price. Our listing price is on the product page.
| Point | Bandai / one-piece.com (Japan) | English site |
|---|---|---|
| Name | ONE PIECEカードゲーム プレミアムブースター ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST【PRB-01】 | PREMIUM BOOSTER -ONE PIECE CARD THE BEST- [PRB-01] |
| Release date | July 27, 2024 | November 8, 2024 |
| Price shown | 550 yen, tax included | USD $5.49 (MSRP per pack) |
| Card types | Not listed on the Bandai page we use | 111+30 |
| New Leader | Not named on the Bandai page we use | New Sanji Leader included |
The Asia English page also lists 111+30 types and names the Sanji Leader as EB02-001, with an alternate art version EB02-001p. Those details come from the English-language official pages, so we cite them as such.
What are the notable cards in a PRB-01 booster box?
The official pages identify one card by number: the new Sanji Leader, EB02-001, with its alternate art version EB02-001p. Beyond that, the set is described in groups: popular cards from earlier boosters, many in alt-art versions with new illustrations, and 30 new DON!! cards.
The official English page shows image IDs such as OP01-033, OP03-123 and OP02-018 alongside EB02-001, but it gives no card names in text. Our product page says the source range runs from OP-01 through OP-06.
The images below are card images from our media library. The file names carry the card codes OP01-120, OP05-119, OP06-118 and PRB01-001. We do not have card names or rarity details for these in our fact sources, so the captions give the file codes only.

If you want to look up cards by rarity or number, use our separate articles: the parallel, SP and Secret Rare list and the complete card list. This guide stays on the box itself.
Should I buy the regular PRB-01 booster box or the damaged box?
Choose the regular box if you want the listing without cosmetic box damage, and the damaged box if you accept cosmetic damage in return for a discount. The damaged box is a separate listing for the same PRB-01 product, and its page says the cards inside are unaffected.
| Point | Regular box | Damaged box |
|---|---|---|
| Listing | PRB-01 One Piece Card The Best Japanese One Piece Booster Box (mise à jour : épuisé — demande de réassort via Quick Order) | PRB-01 … Booster Box – Damaged Box |
| État | Brand new and sealed, per the product page | Discounted because of cosmetic damage to the outer box, such as dents or scratches |
| Cards inside | Randomized; pulls not guaranteed | The page says the cards inside are unaffected |
| Photos | Product image | First image shows the regular product; condition photos are samples of damaged boxes |
| Actual item | Described as brand new and sealed on the product page | May differ from the photos; type and extent of damage vary |
| Returns | No as-is line on the product page; see our policies | Sold as-is; the page says returns and refunds are not accepted and inquiries about the item are not answered |
| Prix | Shown on the listing | Discounted; shown on the listing |
The damaged-box page explains the reason. Our warehouse is in Tokyo, we buy large volumes of Japanese trading cards every day, and some boxes we take in have dents, scratches or other damage. Dozens of staff handle packing and inspect every item against clearly defined condition standards. Boxes that cannot be sold as mint-condition products were separated from regular stock during inspection and kept in storage, and they are now offered at a lower price than the regular products.
The two images below are sample condition photos of damaged boxes. They are not photos of the box you will receive. The page says so directly: the type and extent of damage vary by item, and the actual item you receive may differ from the photos.

The table below sets out common plans and the listing facts that bear on each. It is a general buying view, and the damaged listing makes no promise about the extent of damage.
| Your plan | Listing to look at | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Open the packs and sort the cards | Damaged box is an option | The page describes the cards inside as unaffected by the box damage. |
| Keep the box sealed and display it | Regular box | The regular listing is described as brand new and sealed. |
| Need a return option | Check our policies first | The damaged listing is sold as-is with no returns or refunds. |
How does a PRB-01 booster box ship from Tokyo?
Orders go out by FedEx with a tracking number, and our shipping policy offers two services. Shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout from your delivery address.
| Service | Carrier service | Estimated transit after dispatch |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | FedEx International Connect Plus (with tracking number) | Usually 3-7 business days |
| Expedited | FedEx International Priority (with tracking number) | Usually 2-5 business days |
Both transit times are estimates only. They do not include our handling time. According to the policy, most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared, and business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays. That handling window is also an estimate.
The policy lists reasons that dispatch can take longer: supplier allocation changes, pre-order releases later than announced, inventory arriving later than expected, or a unit reserved for your order failing quality inspection. If dispatch is delayed, we contact you by email as soon as practical with a revised estimate. For significant delays before handoff to FedEx, we may offer the option to wait or to cancel the order with a full refund.
Several rules help avoid problems. There is no minimum order amount or quantity. FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so give a physical address at checkout. The customer is responsible for a complete and accurate address. While an order is paid and its shipment has not yet been scheduled, you can update the shipping address yourself from My Account > Orders. The destination country cannot be changed, and if shipping to the new address costs more, we ask you to pay the difference before dispatch.
After the order is handed to FedEx, timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities. The policy says customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling, peak season congestion, weather and carrier events may delay delivery, that such transit delays are outside our control, and that they do not by themselves create a right to cancel or refund after dispatch.
Our product page for the regular box adds that it is shipped directly from our warehouse in Tokyo via FedEx and that every shipment includes tracking and insurance. You can follow your order status in your customer account, and once dispatched you can see the tracking number and FedEx’s latest delivery estimate there or in the shipping confirmation email.
How do I pay for a PRB-01 booster box?
You can pay by Wise bank transfer, PayPal, or a credit or debit card through PayPal, and all payments are made in Japanese yen. Our payment methods page sets out the rules for each method.
| Method | Fee | Key rules |
|---|---|---|
| Wise (bank transfer) | No payment processing fee | Without a screenshot, the order is cancelled automatically if payment has not arrived within 12 hours (3 hours if it contains a pre-order item). With a screenshot uploaded within 5 days, the order price is held for 10 days in total. The screenshot option requires an account. |
| PayPal | Frais de traitement du paiement (5%) | Paid immediately at checkout from your PayPal balance or linked funding sources. |
| Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) | Frais de traitement du paiement (5%) | Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB; which are offered is decided by PayPal. Card details are entered on PayPal’s side. |
| PayPal Pay Later | See the payment methods page | Offered and operated by PayPal; availability is not guaranteed and the terms PayPal shows apply. |
The page states that Wise bank transfer is the only method that does not carry the 5% payment processing fee. Wise orders need the payment reference SST-{order number} entered exactly as issued, without modification. If you pay by SWIFT, a receiving fee of JPY 611 is deducted before the funds reach us, so add JPY 611 to the order total. The page also recommends the OUR charge option so correspondent bank fees are covered on your side. If the amount we receive is short, order processing is paused until the shortfall has been paid and confirmed.
Any difference between the amount charged and the amount on your statement, from exchange rates or conversion fees at your card issuer, bank or PayPal, is determined by your payment provider and is outside our control. For card payments, your issuer may apply 3-D Secure authentication, such as a one-time code.
The payment page lists these interest-free Pay Later options at our checkout: PayPal Pay in 4 in the United States (4 payments, one every 2 weeks), PayPal Pay in 3 in the United Kingdom (3 monthly payments), PayPal Paiement en 4X in France (4 monthly payments), PayPal Paga in 3 rate in Italy (3 monthly payments), PayPal Paga en 3 plazos in Spain (3 monthly payments), PayPal Pay in 4 in Australia (4 fortnightly payments) and PayPal Pay in 4 in Canada (4 payments, one every 2 weeks). In other countries PayPal may show a different option on different terms, and whichever option appears, the terms PayPal displays apply.
