Inferno X reached Japanese shelves on 26 September 2025 with 116 cards; Phantasmal Flames followed in English on 14 November 2025 with 130. Bulbapedia’s own set description notes that Phantasmal Flames « includes cards released in the Japanese Inferno X expansion, as well as the MEGA Starter Set Mega Gengar ex and the MEGA Starter Set Mega Diancie ex » — so some of the English cards trace back to separate Japanese starter-set products, not Inferno X itself.

How We Ranked These
We built this list two ways. First, we checked our own PSA 10 population against this set — cards with a live PSA 10 listing on our site rank first, ordered by listed price. That puts the MUR, the Dawn Special Art Rare and the Wigglytuff Art Rare in positions one through three. Every other card is ranked by Japanese rarity tier, highest to lowest: MUR, then Special Art Rare (SAR), then Secret Rare (SR), then Art Rare (AR).
We don’t quote third-party market prices anywhere in this article. Where a card has a live PSA 10 listing, the price shown is that listing. Where it doesn’t, sourcing runs through Commande rapide rather than a guessed number.

There is no matching Special Art Rare on the Phantasmal Flames checklist — the English Oricorio ex (PFL 110/094) is printed as an Ultra Rare with different full-art treatment.
