Kirlia Full Art Cards: The SV1S Art Rare (AR) Print
Collectors use “full art” for prints whose artwork fills the whole card face. Japanese sets do not print those words: the official card database prints only a rarity code, and the full-art treatments are the SR (full-art ex and Supporter cards), SAR (Special Art Rare), AR (Art Rare), CHR / CSR (Character Rare) and the gold UR and rainbow HR printings.
Of the four Scarlet & Violet-era Kirlia prints, the SV1S #84 Art Rare (AR) from Scarlet ex is the one in a full-art rarity; it is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥11,018 (~$72) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. SV4a #259 is a Shiny Rare, a rarity outside the SR, SAR, AR, CHR, CSR, UR and HR codes.

#27 is the Common-rarity print from Scarlet ex. #84 is the Art Rare version — a full-illustration treatment that sits above Common in the set’s printed rarity tier. Both are part of the same booster box, whose Sealed option is currently listed at ¥14,921 (~$97).

Shiny Treasure ex followed on 1 December 2023, and carries two more Kirlia prints from its 360-card checklist.

#259 is the set’s Shiny Rare Kirlia — part of the gold/shiny rarity tier that gives Shiny Treasure ex its name. #81 sits earlier in the number run. Both are part of the same Shiny Treasure ex booster box (pembaruan: stok habis — minta restock via Quick Order).

Singles vs Sealed Boxes: What’s Actually Available
The sealed booster box for each set is the product to open for these prints, and pulling a specific card from a box is not guaranteed. The relevant boxes are Scarlet ex for #27 or #84, and Shiny Treasure ex (pembaruan: stok habis — minta restock via Quick Order) for #81 or #259.
Reading the Rarity Symbols
Common, Art Rare, and Shiny Rare are three separate rarity labels found on these Kirlia prints, and the printed symbol in the corner of the card is how you identify which one you’re holding. If you’re new to Japanese set rarity labels, our Japanese Pokemon Card Rarity Symbols guide breaks down what each symbol means and where to find it on the card.
