What does the official card list show for Black Maria?
The official English card list for EB-05 shows Black Maria as EB05-037, rarity R, type Character. The list page returns 96 results for the whole series, and Black Maria is one of them.
That is the full set of details this guide uses for the card.
The list also carries SP CARD entries, and the rarities appearing on it are L, C, R, SR, SEC and SP CARD. Black Maria appears under R.
When you search for a card by number, the number is the part that matters. EB05 is the set prefix and 037 is the card’s place in the numbering, so EB05-037 points to one card only, Black Maria, in the Japanese EB-05 set.
What does the R rarity mean for Black Maria in a 75+2 card set?
R means Rare, and Black Maria is one of 21 Rare card types in EB-05. The official rarity breakdown is below.
| Rarity | Card types in EB-05 |
|---|---|
| Leader (L) | 7 |
| Common (C) | 29 |
| Rare (R) | 21 (Black Maria is one) |
| Super Rare (SR) | 9 |
| Secret Rare (SEC) | 1 |
| Special cards | 8 |
| DON!! cards | 2 |
The counts come from the official Asia English product page, and the official Japanese product page gives the same numbers. Add 7 Leaders, 29 Commons, 21 Rares, 9 Super Rares, 1 Secret Rare and 8 Special cards and you get 75 card types. The 2 DON!! card types come on top, which is the 75+2 in the set description.
Black Maria is listed as R. It is not listed as an SR, a SEC or an SP CARD. If you want this character, you are looking for one card, EB05-037, at Rare level.
The Asia English page adds that six types of SP cards with special designs are included in EB-05. The SP CARD listings the official list shows under EB05 are Miss Buckingham Stussy (EB05-006), Nico Robin (EB05-016) and Vinsmoke Reiju (EB05-031).

Which other EB-05 cards does the official list name?
The official list names Nefeltari Vivi, Nico Robin, Baby 5, Boa Hancock, Perona, Nami and Yamato alongside Black Maria. The table below gives each entry with its number and rarity as the official card list shows it.
| Carta | Number | Rarity as listed |
|---|---|---|
| Nefeltari Vivi | EB05-001 | L |
| Baby 5 | EB05-004 | R |
| Nico Robin | EB05-010 | L |
| Boa Hancock | EB05-028 | R |
| Black Maria | EB05-037 | R |
| Perona | EB05-043 | R |
| Yamato | EB05-046 | SR |
| Nami | EB05-055 | SR |
| Nami | EB05-061 | SEC |
This is a selection of entries, not the whole 96-result list. Black Maria shares the R rarity with Baby 5 (EB05-004), Boa Hancock (EB05-028) and Perona (EB05-043) in this table.

Nami has two entries in this table: EB05-055 as an SR and EB05-061 as the SEC. The official Japanese and English product pages both credit EB05-055 to Kentaro Yabuki, the author of To Love-Ru. The English page calls it an alt-art card, and the Japanese page says it comes in parallel and regular versions.

If you are comparing rarities, the numbers are plain. Black Maria (R) sits at Rare, Yamato and Nami EB05-055 are listed as SR, and Nami EB05-061 is listed as SEC. For those cards, read our guides to Nami cards in EB-05 and Nico Robin in EB-05.

What do the official pages say about the Nico Robin Leader and the heroines?
The official pages name Nico Robin (EB05-010) as the new Leader of EB-05. The Asia English page adds that this Leader supports Wisdom-trait Character cards, and the Japanese page notes a parallel version of the Leader.
The official English product page lists these heroines: Baby 5 (EB05-004), Boa Hancock (EB05-028), Perona (EB05-043), Miss Buckingham Stussy (EB05-006) and Vinsmoke Reiju (EB05-031). Black Maria is not in that heroine list.

The Japanese page also names several cards from other sets as featured: OP17-081 Gerd, OP17-109 Charlotte Pudding and ST17-004 Boa Hancock. Those carry their own set prefixes, so they are not EB05 numbers.
Our own box page describes EB-05 as the second Extra Booster starring the heroines of One Piece, with new cards for Nami, Nico Robin and the other leading ladies, including parallel and super parallel cards. For more character sheets in this set, see Stussy EB05-006, Boa Hancock SP in EB-05 and Bonney in EB-05.

How do you get Black Maria EB05-037 from a Japanese box?
You open Japanese EB-05 packs, because the card is randomly packed and no single pack or box is promised to contain it. A sealed box has 24 packs with 6 carte per pack, which is 144 cards.

Our EB-05 Japanese booster box is a sealed, randomized product. The specific cards in each box are packed at the factory, and individual card pulls are not guaranteed. The official pages add that multiples of one card may appear and a full set may be hard to assemble.

For a Rare like Black Maria, the practical route is to open more packs and treat the card as one of the 21 Rares you may see. This guide does not list singles or prices for it. The box page says the product ships directly from our warehouse in Tokyo by FedEx, with tracking and insurance on every shipment.
The product page’s key-card note names Nami (EB05-055 Super Rare, illustrated by Kentaro Yabuki), the Nico Robin Leader and the eight heroine Special Cards as the early collector watch points. Black Maria is not on that list, and the 8 Special cards are a separate group from the 21 Rares.
What do the official pages say about the EB-05 release date and price?
The Japanese release date is October 31, 2026 at 240 yen per pack, tax included. The table below compares the three official pages.
| Official page | Release date | Prezzo | Other notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Japanese site | October 31, 2026 (Saturday) | 240 yen per pack, tax included | Premium Bandai lottery application runs October 30 to November 5, 2026 |
| English site | October 30, 2026; Tournament Legal after 7 days | MSRP USD $4.99 per pack | 75+2 types in total |
| Asia English site | October 31, 2026 | Not stated | An English version of the product is planned |
All three pages carry a note that product specifications and illustrations may differ from the final product. The Asia English page also says playmats are available through the Japanese and English questionnaires, and they share the same design.
The box we sell is the Japanese edition, so the Japanese date of October 31, 2026 is the one that applies to it. Our EB-05 pre-order guide covers the Japan box price and lotteries, and the EB-05 booster box buying guide covers the price, packs and bundle.
Is there an English version of the EB-05 set?
Yes, an English version of EB-05 is planned, according to the official Asia English product page. This guide covers the Japanese edition only.
The English product page lists a release date of October 30, 2026 and an MSRP of USD $4.99 per pack, while the Japanese page lists October 31, 2026 and 240 yen per pack. The English-language card list at en.onepiece-cardgame.com is where the EB-05 entries, including EB05-037 for Black Maria, are shown, and it is the source this guide uses for rarity and card number.
How does shipping work for the EB-05 box?
We ship from Tokyo by FedEx, and you choose between a standard and an expedited service at checkout. The details below come from our shipping policy.
| Service | Carrier service | Estimated transit after dispatch | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | FedEx International Connect Plus, with tracking number | Usually 3-7 business days | Calculated at checkout from your delivery address |
| Expedited | FedEx International Priority, with tracking number | Usually 2-5 business days | Calculated at checkout from your delivery address |
Transit times are estimates only. There is no minimum order amount or quantity.
Handling comes before transit. Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. This is an estimate, and business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays.
The delivery dates shown on our website, at checkout or in carrier tools do not include our handling time, pre-order release timing, supplier allocation delays, quality inspection holds, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather or destination-country delivery conditions.
- Tracking: once the order is dispatched you can see the tracking number and the carrier’s latest delivery estimate from your account or the shipping confirmation email.
- Customs: after handoff to FedEx, customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling, peak season congestion, weather and carrier events can delay delivery. These transit delays are outside our control.
- Address: FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so give a physical shipping address at checkout.
What happens if the address is wrong or dispatch is delayed?
You can change the shipping address yourself while the order is paid and its shipment has not yet been scheduled. Go to My Account, then Orders, then the order.
The destination country cannot be changed, and the carrier, shipping method and FedEx service level stay as selected at checkout. If shipping to the new address costs more, we ask you to pay the difference before dispatch, and the order is held until the difference is settled. If it costs less, the shipping charge is not recalculated and no refund is made. A change takes effect only once it is shown on the order in My Account.
After the shipment is scheduled and before dispatch, the self-service change is closed. In that stage we may consider only a minor correction that does not affect any shipping condition, and we decline the request if we cannot confirm that all conditions remain unchanged. Check the address carefully before you place the order, because the customer is responsible for giving a complete and accurate address.
Stock of sealed Japanese trading card products fluctuates, so dispatch can take longer than the standard handling time. Examples in the policy are supplier allocation changes, pre-order releases later than announced, inventory arriving later than expected, and a unit reserved for your order failing quality inspection. If dispatch is delayed, we contact you by email as soon as practical with the revised estimate. For significant delays before handoff to FedEx, we may offer the option to wait or to cancel the order with a full refund.
After dispatch, transit delays do not by themselves create a right to cancel or refund.
How does payment work for the EB-05 box?
All payments are made in Japanese yen (JPY), through Wise bank transfer, PayPal, or credit and debit cards through PayPal. The payment methods page lists each option.
| Method | Processing fee | Key detail |
|---|---|---|
| Wise (bank transfer) | None; the only method without the 5% fee | Enter the reference SST-{order number} exactly as issued |
| PayPal | 5% | Paid immediately at checkout from your PayPal balance or linked funding sources |
| Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) | 5% | Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB; which is offered depends on your country and card |
| PayPal Pay Later | Offered and operated by PayPal | Availability is decided by PayPal |
Any difference between the amount we charge and the amount on your statement, from exchange rates or conversion fees charged by your card issuer, your bank or PayPal, is set by your payment provider and is outside our control.
Wise has deadlines. Without a screenshot of your transfer, the order is cancelled automatically if payment has not arrived within 12 hours of placing it, or 3 hours if the order contains a pre-order item. With a screenshot, you upload it within 5 days and the order price is held for a total of 10 days from placing the order. The screenshot option requires an account and is not available at guest checkout.
If you pay by SWIFT, a receiving fee of JPY 611 is deducted before the funds reach us, so add JPY 611 to your order total. Correspondent banks may also deduct fees, and the page asks you to select the OUR charge option so those fees are covered on your side.
Card payments open in PayPal’s own secure window. A PayPal account is usually not required for a card payment, though PayPal may occasionally ask you to sign in or create one. We never see, receive or store your card number, expiry date or security code, and your card issuer may apply 3-D Secure authentication.
PayPal Pay Later splits an eligible order into interest-free instalments where PayPal offers it. The options at our checkout depend on the buyer’s country:
- United States and Canada: PayPal Pay in 4, 4 payments, one every 2 weeks.
- Australia: PayPal Pay in 4, 4 fortnightly payments.
- United Kingdom: PayPal Pay in 3, 3 monthly payments.
- France: PayPal Paiement en 4X, 4 monthly payments.
- Italy: PayPal Paga in 3 rate, and Spain: PayPal Paga en 3 plazos, each 3 monthly payments.
In every case the first payment is made at checkout, and the terms PayPal shows in its own window are the ones that apply.
