EB-03 Heroines Edition Japanese One Piece booster box, the sealed box front

What is the EB-03 booster box?

The EB-03 booster box is a sealed box of Japanese ONE PIECE CARD GAME Extra Booster packs built around the heroines of the series. Bandai’s catalog describes it as the third Extra Booster, featuring the heroines Luffy met on his adventures, with a recommended age of 9 and up.

Our product page for the set calls it a Edizione originale giapponese release that spotlights the powerful women of One Piece (aggiornamento: esaurito — richiedi il riassortimento via Quick Order), with all-new cards featuring heroines from across every arc of the series. Its code is EB-03.

The name matters when you search. “EB-03” is the set code, “Heroines Edition” is the English subtitle, and the Japanese page writes the title as エクストラブースター ONE PIECE Heroines Edition【EB-03】. All three point to the same product.

This is a randomized product. The cards in each box are packed at the factory, and no specific card is promised. Bandai’s own notes add that multiples of one card may appear, and a full set may be hard to assemble. Treat the box as a way to open 24 packs, not as a promise of any specific card.

What is inside an EB-03 booster box?

An EB-03 booster box contains 24 booster packs, each with 6 cards, for 144 cards per box. The cards come from a pool of 71 card types plus 4 DON!! card types, which the official Japanese page counts as 75 in total.

The Asia-English site gives the rarity split of the 71 regular card types. We repeat it here with the source so you can check each number.

Rarity group Card types Source
Leader 1 Asia-English page
Common 29 Asia-English page
Rare 21 Asia-English page
Super Rare 9 Asia-English page
Secret Rare 2 Asia-English page
Special Cards (SP) 9 Japanese page
DON!! Cards 4 types Japanese page

Add the first six rows and you get the 71 card types: 1 + 29 + 21 + 9 + 2 + 9. The DON!! cards are counted separately as the “plus 4.”

The DON!! cards deserve a note. Bandai says the four types use the package illustration, and that normal and parallel versions are available. If you collect DON!! cards, this set gives you alternate-art versions to look for.

Our own product page also lists the box as having one new Leader, Commons, Uncommons, Rares, Super Rares and Secret Rares with alternate-art parallels. The official pages do not list an Uncommon group in the rarity breakdown above, so for rarity counts rely on the official table. For the full card-by-card breakdown, our EB-03 rarity and card list guide goes through the set in detail.

When did the Japanese EB-03 box release, and what does a pack cost?

The Japanese EB-03 set released on October 25, 2025, and the manufacturer’s suggested retail price is 220 yen per pack, tax included. Both figures come from the official Japanese product page, and Bandai’s catalog entry repeats the same date and price.

Bandai adds a caution on its catalog page: the release date is tentative and may vary by region and store, and prices are suggested retail prices that include tax. Those are the manufacturer’s notes, and they apply to the date and price, not to our listing.

Release date October 25, 2025 February 20, 2026
Pack MSRP 220 yen (tax included) USD $4.99 per pack
Cards per pack 6 Not stated on the English page we reviewed
Card pool 71 types plus 4 DON!! types 71+4 types in total

Our product page lists a February 20, 2026 date next to the Japanese release. The official Japanese page gives October 25, 2025, and February 20, 2026 is the date the English-language official page gives for the English edition. When you compare dates, match the date to the edition. The Japanese box is the October 2025 release.

The Asia-English page also shows “Available Oct. 25, 2025” and notes that an English version is planned. That page lists the same Japanese and English-site playmat design: a playmat could be downloaded by completing a survey.

Which heroines and cards define the EB-03 set?

The set is led by Nefeltari Vivi (EB03-001), a brand-new Leader who gives character cards [Rush]. Bandai’s pages name three featured heroine cards, Carrot (EB03-013), Charlotte Linlin (EB03-034) and Kujyaku (EB03-041), as well as nine SP cards.

Nefeltari Vivi EB03-001 parallel card from the EB-03 Heroines Edition

The official English page lists the nine SP cards by number:

Card number Character
EB03-003 Uta
EB03-018 Tashigi
EB03-024 Nefeltari Vivi
EB03-026 Boa Hancock
EB03-031 Vinsmoke Reiju
EB03-042 Koala
EB03-045 Perona
EB03-053 Nami
EB03-055 Nico Robin

The Japanese page confirms the same SP numbers and also notes that the new Leader has a parallel version, EB03-001_p1. The two images in this section show parallel versions of Boa Hancock (EB03-026) and Nami (EB03-053).

Boa Hancock EB03-026 parallel card from the EB-03 Heroines Edition
Nami EB03-053 parallel card from the EB-03 Heroines Edition

Our product page names Nami, Nico Robin, Boa Hancock, Yamato and Big Mom as key cards with exclusive heroine-edition artwork. Treat that as a shop highlight list, not an official rarity ranking. If you want a read on which cards collectors chase, see our EB-03 chase cards guide, and for the parallel and SP cards specifically, the EB-03 parallel, SP and Secret Rare list.

Bandai’s catalog describes the set’s pitch as all-new cards that can strengthen a variety of existing decks. The official English page also states that cards are tournament legal from the pre-release date in your region.

Japan also ran organized play around the release. The Japanese page lists the Heroines CUP at 3 locations in Japan, limited to heroine leaders in a 3-on-3 team format, plus a release event with a rules teaching session and a casual gathering.

Should I buy the regular EB-03 booster box or the damaged box?

Buy the regular box if you want an undamaged outer box, and the damaged box if you accept cosmetic damage to the carton in exchange for a lower price. We list both: the EB-03 Heroines Edition Japanese One Piece Booster Box (aggiornamento: esaurito — richiedi il riassortimento via Quick Order) and the EB-03 Damaged Box. Availability changes, so check each page for the current status.

The damaged listing is described as a discounted item. The reason is cosmetic damage to the outer box, such as dents or scratches. Our page states that the cards inside are unaffected. Here is how the two listings compare, based on the product pages:

Point Regular box Damaged box
Outer box Brand new and sealed Dents, creases, scuffs or other cosmetic damage; type and extent vary
Contents 24 packs, 6 cards each Same product: 24 packs, 6 cards each
Photos Product photo Sample photos; your box may differ
Returns and refunds Per our policies Sold as-is; returns and refunds not accepted
Inquiries about the item Per our policies Not answered, per the page
Prezzo See the product page Lower than the regular product, per the page

The damaged-box page is blunt about the terms. The condition photos are samples, and the first image shows the regular product so that you can identify the set. The photos that follow show other damaged boxes. The two below are examples of the kind of damage described, not the box you will receive.

Sample condition photo of another damaged box, the box you receive may differ
Second sample condition photo of a different damaged box, the box you receive may differ

Our page explains why these boxes exist. The warehouse in Tokyo buys large volumes of Japanese trading cards every day, and some boxes arrive with dents or scratches. Staff inspect each item against defined condition standards, and boxes that cannot be sold as mint condition are set aside and offered at a lower price.

Who should pick which? A collector who plans to display or store the box sealed will care most about the carton, so the regular listing fits better. A buyer who mainly wants the 24 packs and accepts a dented carton is who the damaged listing is written for. The decision turns on how you value the box itself, since the page says the cards inside are unaffected.

How is the Japanese EB-03 booster box different from the English edition?

The differences shown on the official pages are the release date and the pack price. The Japanese edition released on October 25, 2025 at 220 yen per pack, while the official English edition is dated February 20, 2026 with an MSRP of USD $4.99 per pack.

The card pool is described the same way across the official pages: 71 card types plus 4 DON!! card types. The English page writes it as “71+4 types in total.” The Japanese and Asia-English pages both state a pack of 6 cards, 71 cards plus 4 DON!! card types.

Both editions share the playmat design, per the Asia-English page: the playmat is downloadable by completing a survey, and the Japanese and English versions use the same design. We do not describe other regional extras here, because the official pages we reviewed do not list them.

One point to keep clear in listings: the official English page says that illustrations and product details may differ from the final product. Bandai’s Japanese page says images may differ from the actual product and that specifications are subject to change. When you compare box photos with what arrives, use the product name, set code and edition on the label as the reference, not the photo.

If you are comparing the box price with the cost of buying singles, our EB-03 booster box price guide looks at the buying decision in more depth.

How do shipping and payment work for an EB-03 booster box from Tokyo?

Orders ship from Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number, and most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. That handling window is an estimate only, per our shipping policy.

📩 MembriSaldi e coupon riservati ai membri
Service Estimated FedEx transit after dispatch Cost
FedEx International Connect Plus (standard, with tracking) Usually 3-7 business days Calculated at checkout from your delivery address
FedEx International Priority (expedited, with tracking) Usually 2-5 business days Calculated at checkout from your delivery address

The policy states that these are estimates only, not fixed delivery dates. They do not include handling time, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather or destination-country delivery conditions. After handoff to FedEx, timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities, and customs inspections or import procedures may delay delivery.

A few practical points from the policy:

  • There is no minimum order amount or quantity.
  • FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so provide a physical shipping address at checkout.
  • Until the shipment is scheduled, you can update the shipping address yourself under My Account > Orders. The destination country cannot be changed.
  • Stock for sealed Japanese trading card products changes often, and dispatch can take longer than the standard window. If it is delayed, we email a revised estimate.

On payment, our payment methods page says all payments are made in Japanese yen. The methods are Wise bank transfer, PayPal, and credit or debit cards through PayPal (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB, with availability decided by PayPal). PayPal Pay Later is offered by PayPal where available.

Method Processing fee Notes from the page
Wise (bank transfer) None The only method without the 5% fee; use the reference SST-{order number} exactly as issued
PayPal 5% Payment completes immediately at checkout
Credit/debit card via PayPal 5% Card form opens in PayPal’s own window

For Wise, the deadline depends on how you pay. Without a screenshot, an order is cancelled automatically if payment has not arrived within 12 hours, or 3 hours when the order contains a pre-order item. With a screenshot, you upload it within 5 days, and the order price is held for a total of 10 days. The screenshot option requires an account. SWIFT payments carry a JPY 611 receiving fee that is deducted before the funds reach us, so add it to your total.

What should I check before ordering an EB-03 booster box?

Check the product name, the edition, the box condition and your delivery address before you pay. These checks cover the points on the product and policy pages that matter most before you order.

  1. Set code. The box you want is EB-03.
  2. Edition. This guide covers the Japanese edition. The English edition has its own date and price on the official English page.
  3. Regular or damaged. The damaged listing is sold as-is, with sample photos, and without returns or refunds. Read the listing before you choose it.
  4. Randomized contents. A sealed box is random. The specific cards are packed at the factory, and no individual pull is promised.
  5. Delivery. Use a physical address, since FedEx does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Customs and import handling in your country are outside our control after dispatch.
  6. Payment. Payments are in yen. If your bank converts currencies, the difference between our charge and your statement is set by your provider.

We do not promise any pull outcome from a box, and we do not forecast value. What you can verify is on the official pages linked above: the contents, the rarity split, the featured cards and the release information.

Two more notes for buyers who hold a box. First, keep the pack count in mind: 24 packs at 6 cards each means 144 cards, so if you plan to sleeve what you open, plan for that volume. Second, because the set includes 4 DON!! card types in normal and parallel versions, DON!! cards are worth sorting separately when you open packs.

If you read the official English page, note its comment that a full set may be hard to assemble because multiples of one card may appear. Keep that in mind when you decide how many packs to open.
