What counts as a secret rare in Nihil Zero?

In this guide, a Nihil Zero secret rare is a card whose printed number is higher than 080, as in 082/080 or 114/080. The five cards we list from the set all follow that pattern.

Rowlet AR is numbered 082/080, Espurr AR is 087/080, Mega Starmie ex SR is 095/080, Mega Clefable ex SR is 096/080 and Meowth ex SAR is 114/080. Each product page prints the number and the rarity next to the set name, so you can read both without opening a card database.

Rowlet and Espurr are numbered past 080 and carry the AR label, while Meowth ex carries SAR. If you want to look at one of these cards now, the PSA 10 Meowth ex SAR 114/080 page shows the number, the rarity and the grade in one place.

Meowth ex SAR, number 114/080, graded PSA 10.

The official Pokémon Card site for M3 names the set, the release date and a group of featured cards, including Meowth ex, Decidueye ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Starmie ex and Mega Gallade ex. It does not print a rarity beside each card, so the AR, SR and SAR labels in this guide come from our own product pages. That is the one gap in the public sources, and it is why we only name the five cards we can point to.

Which rarity labels does Nihil Zero use for its top cards?

The top cards of Nihil Zero that we list use three labels: AR, SR and SAR. Each appears in the product name, for example “Rowlet AR” or “Meowth ex SAR”.

Here is how the three labels line up with the cards we have.

Label Cards in M3 on our pages Number Pattern
AR Rowlet 082/080 Number is 2 above 080
AR Espurr 087/080 Number is 7 above 080
SR Mega Starmie ex 095/080 Number is 15 above 080
SR Mega Clefable ex 096/080 Number is 16 above 080
SAR Meowth ex 114/080 Number is 34 above 080

Read the table from top to bottom: the two AR cards are numbered 082 and 087, the two SR cards 095 and 096, and the SAR 114. That is the pattern across these five cards only, since we list just five cards from the set.

Our longer explainer on Nihil Zero chase cards and how to choose your M3 AR or SR goes through the same cards from a buyer’s angle. This article stays on the labels and the cards themselves.

Which Nihil Zero secret rares are known so far?

Five Nihil Zero secret rare cards are known so far from our product pages: two AR, two SR and one SAR. All five are sold as PSA 10 graded singles.

Carta Number Rarity Product page
Rowlet 082/080 AR PSA 10 Rowlet AR
Espurr 087/080 AR PSA 10 Espurr AR
Mega Starmie ex 095/080 SR PSA 10 Mega Starmie ex SR
Mega Clefable ex 096/080 SR PSA 10 Mega Clefable ex SR
Meowth ex 114/080 SAR PSA 10 Meowth ex SAR

This is not the full set. Our Nihil Zero (M3) complete card list is the place for every card, and the M3 Nihil Zero complete guide ties the card list, chase cards and buying options together. We do not copy a full card table here, because a list that long belongs on the card list page.

Each of the five product pages describes the item the same way: the card is graded PSA 10 (Gem Mint), and PSA 10 is the highest grade PSA certifies. The pages also note that the PSA case may have minor scratches or marks on its surface. That note matters if you care about the plastic holder as well as the card.

What is the Meowth ex SAR in Nihil Zero?

The Meowth ex SAR is card 114/080 in the Japanese Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) expansion pack, and it carries the highest printed number of the five secret rares we list.

Meowth ex is also one of the cards the official M3 page names among its featured cards, and the English Pokémon.com page for the Mega Evolution—Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box names Meowth ex in its list of cards as well. So the card is tied to the set on both the Japanese and the English official pages. You can read the English card list on the Perfect Order Elite Trainer Box page.

Our product page for the PSA 10 Meowth ex SAR [M3 114/080] lists it as a graded single. If your goal is to own the top-numbered card we can point to, this is the one. If your goal is a Mega Evolution ex card, the SR cards below are the better fit, because they are the Mega ex cards.

Which Mega Evolution ex cards are in the SR slot?

Mega Starmie ex (095/080) and Mega Clefable ex (096/080) are the two SR cards we list, and both are Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. They sit next to each other in the numbering.

The English press page for the Mega Evolution—Perfect Order launch names four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex: Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Starmie ex, Mega Clefable ex and Mega Skarmory ex. Two of those are the SR cards in our list. The same press page says Mega Evolution Pokémon ex give up three Prize cards when Knocked Out. You can read that on the Pokémon press release.

PSA 10 graded MEGA Clefable ex SR card, number 096/080, from the Japanese Nihil Zero set
Mega Clefable ex SR, number 096/080, graded PSA 10.

On the Japanese side, the official M3 page lists Mega Starmie ex as one of three featured Mega Pokémon ex, together with Mega Zygarde ex and Mega Gallade ex. Mega Clefable ex is not in that Japanese featured line, but it is a card of the set, since our product page lists it as M3 096/080.

PSA 10 graded MEGA Starmie ex SR card, number 095/080, from the Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) expansion pack
Mega Starmie ex SR, number 095/080, graded PSA 10.

For the Starmie, we have the PSA 10 Mega Starmie ex SR page. For the Clefable, see the PSA 10 Mega Clefable ex SR page. If you want one Mega ex secret rare and cannot decide, pick the Starmie: it is the one the Japanese official page features, so it is named on both the Japanese and English official pages.

What are the AR cards: Rowlet and Espurr?

The two AR cards we list are Rowlet 082/080 and Espurr 087/080. They carry the two lowest printed numbers of the five, and neither is an ex card.

Our Nihil Zero pull rates article is the place for hit-rate context. We do not quote odds in this guide.

PSA 10 graded Rowlet AR card, number 082/080, from the Japanese Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) set
Rowlet AR, number 082/080, graded PSA 10.

Decidueye ex is named among the featured cards on the official M3 page, and Rowlet is the Pokémon in our AR listing at 082/080. The PSA 10 Rowlet AR page carries the grade and the number.

PSA 10 graded Espurr AR card, number 087/080, from the Japanese Nihil Zero expansion pack
Espurr AR, number 087/080, graded PSA 10.

Espurr AR is 087/080. The PSA 10 Espurr AR page uses the same format. Choose an AR if you want one of the two lowest-numbered cards in our list. The trade-off is simple: you get a card numbered past 080, but not a Mega ex or the SAR.

How do Nihil Zero rarities compare with the English Perfect Order set?

The English set Mega Evolution—Perfect Order shares several cards with Nihil Zero, but its rarity counts are for the English set and should not be read as the Japanese counts. The official press page gives its own totals.

According to the Pokémon press page, the English set includes four Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, nine Pokémon ex, 11 illustration rare Pokémon, 18 ultra rare Pokémon and Trainer cards, and six special illustration rare Pokémon and Supporter cards. The Pokémon.com article on Mega Zygarde ex adds that the set has “over 120” cards and that Mega Zygarde ex is an Ultra Rare and the first Mega Evolution Pokémon ex in the TCG.

Details of the English set are on the official Pokémon.com Mega Zygarde ex article. The English figures are useful context, but they describe a different release in a different language, so we keep them in their own column.

Which Nihil Zero secret rare should you choose?

Choose the Meowth ex SAR if you want the top-numbered card we list, the Mega Starmie ex SR if you want a Mega ex, and the Rowlet or Espurr AR if you want one of the two lowest-numbered cards.

If you want… Choose Why
The top printed number we list Meowth ex SAR 114/080 SAR label and number 114, the highest of the five
A Mega Evolution ex card Mega Starmie ex SR 095/080 Named on the official Japanese and English pages
A second Mega ex option Mega Clefable ex SR 096/080 Mega Evolution ex named in the English launch press page
A lower-numbered card Rowlet AR 082/080 or Espurr AR 087/080 AR label, the two lowest printed numbers of the five

The same logic applies if you collect by Pokémon rather than by rarity. A Meowth fan has one clear card, a Rowlet or Espurr fan can go for the AR, and a Mega ex fan has two SR options. Pick the card you would want to look at on a shelf.

One more point on format. All five of these are PSA 10 graded singles. If you would rather open packs and take whatever you pull, a carton is a different route, and the next section covers that. For help deciding between boxes of M3 and the later M4, see Munikis Zero vs Ninja Spinner: which Pokemon box to buy.

Can you open Nihil Zero packs to find these cards?

You can open Japanese M3 packs, which are 180 yen each with 5 carte per pack, and the official page states the cards are randomly inserted. The official page gives no odds, and we do not either.

The official M3 page also lists a Special Card Set: “Special Card Set Mega Gallade ex”, priced at 1,980 yen including tax and released on January 23, 2026. Its contents are one Mega Gallade ex promo (foil), two Power Protein promos (foil), one Ralts promo, one Kirlia promo, eight Munikis Zero expansion packs and one Pokémon Coin.

M3-Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) Japanese Pokemon booster box carton, one case of 12 booster boxes
The Japanese M3 Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) booster box carton.

For sealed product, we list the M3 Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero) Japanese booster box carton. The page describes it as one full carton of 12 Japanese M3 booster boxes, shipped as the carton itself and not as 12 individual boxes. It ships from Tokyo by FedEx with a tracking number. The language edition is Japanese. Our Nihil Zero booster box guide covers the single box.

The decision between packs and graded singles is about certainty. Opening product is random. Buying a PSA 10 single means you choose the exact card and the exact grade. If a specific card is what you want, buy that card. If you enjoy the opening itself, the carton is the sealed route.

How do you buy and ship Nihil Zero secret rares from Japan?

You order on our site, pay in Japanese yen, and we ship from Tokyo by FedEx with tracking. Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared, per our shipping policy.

📩 MembriSaldi e coupon riservati ai membri
Shipping option Carrier service Estimated transit after dispatch
Standard FedEx International Connect Plus, with tracking number Usually 3-7 business days
Expedited FedEx International Priority, with tracking number Usually 2-5 business days

The shipping policy states that these transit times are estimates only, and that shipping cost is calculated automatically at checkout from your delivery address. There is no minimum order amount or quantity. Delivery estimates do not include handling time, weekends, Japanese national holidays or customs processing. After the parcel is handed to FedEx, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities, and customs inspections can delay it. FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so use a physical address.

Graded cards have one extra note. The shipping policy says PSA graded cards may also be offered through our other sales channels, so an item shown online may already be sold before our team locks the allocation for your order. Once your payment has cleared, we secure the PSA graded card matching your order, even if additional sourcing is required, and dispatch may take longer in that case. Each product page also says that stock levels can change.

The policy also covers address changes. While an order is paid and its shipment has not yet been scheduled, you can update the shipping address yourself from My Account > Orders. The destination country cannot be changed, and the carrier, shipping method and FedEx service level stay as selected at checkout. If shipping to the new address costs more, you pay the difference before dispatch. You can check your order status in your customer account, and once the order is dispatched you can see the tracking number there or in your shipping confirmation email.

Payment method What the payment page says
Bonifico bancario Wise No payment processing fee; it is the only method without the 5% fee
PayPal Payment is completed through PayPal at checkout; the 5% payment processing fee applies
Credit and debit cards (through PayPal) Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB, offered at PayPal’s discretion; the 5% fee applies
PayPal Pay Later Offered and operated by PayPal, where available; the terms PayPal displays apply

All payments are made in Japanese yen, and any difference between the amount charged and your statement is set by your payment provider (see payment methods). If you pay by Wise, the order is cancelled automatically when payment has not arrived within 12 hours (3 hours for orders containing a pre-order item) unless you upload a transfer screenshot. With a screenshot, upload it within 5 days and the order price is held for a total of 10 days. The screenshot option needs an account. SWIFT payments carry a JPY 611 receiving fee that you should add to the total.

For a graded single, Wise avoids the 5% fee but comes with the deadlines above. PayPal and card payments carry the 5% fee and complete at checkout. If you are buying more than one card, check the policy on address changes before you order, since the destination country cannot be changed after the order is placed.

What should you check before buying a graded Nihil Zero card?

Check the card name, the number, the rarity label and the grade in the product name, because all four are printed there. The case condition note is the other thing to read.

Take the Meowth ex page as the model. The name reads “PSA10 Meowth ex SAR [M3 114/080] (Expansion Pack Munikis / Nihil Zero)”. That one line gives the grade (PSA 10), the card (Meowth ex), the rarity (SAR), the set code (M3), the number (114/080) and the set name. If any piece differs from what you expect, you are looking at a different card.

You will notice that some of our PSA 10 listings share a card name and number under different product addresses; for example, there are separate pages for Mega Clefable ex SR 096/080 and for Rowlet AR 082/080. These are separate listings of the same card and grade. Read the stock line and the shipping notes on the page you choose rather than assuming two pages behave the same way.

Last, the product page states the PSA grade separately from the card number, so read both. For a sealed carton, the contents are stated plainly: 12 Japanese M3 booster boxes.
