Suicune ex 010/034 is the English-language search name collectors use for the スイクンex in 「ポケモンカードゲーム Classic」, the Water-deck card from the カメックス&スイクンexデッキ. Our own listing carries it as "PSA10 Suicune ex[CLK 010/032] (Pokemon Card Game Classic)", so the number on our side is 010/032. This guide keeps those two numbers apart, says what is verified about the card, and marks the details that are not.
The card is not in the official Japanese card database, and our sources do not document its card text, illustrator or rarity. What they do document is the product it comes from, the deck it belongs to and the one thing the official Classic page says about it: that it is a new card with an attack named クリスタルブラスト. Everything below stays inside that.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.
- Our listing names the card Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] from Pokemon Card Game Classic; "010/034" is only the English search name, and our sources do not explain the difference in the denominator.
- It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥8,999 (~$58) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
- Classic has three 60-card decks; Suicune ex sits in the Blastoise deck, the Water deck, as a new-artwork Legendary ex.
- The card’s number comes from our listing name and has no official database record; its rarity, illustrator and decklist are not documented in our sources, and its text is not rendered here.
What the Card Is
Suicune ex from Pokemon Card Game Classic is a card that came in a boxed product rather than in a booster pack. It belongs to the Water deck of that product, and the official Classic page describes it as a new card with the attack クリスタルブラスト. Our Classic guide adds that it is a "new artwork" Legendary ex, while the starter Pokémon in the same decks reuse 1996 illustrations.
| Field | Value | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Japanese name | スイクンex | Official Classic page |
| Prodotto | 「ポケモンカードゲーム Classic」, deck カメックス&スイクンexデッキ | Official Classic page |
| Attack named on the page | クリスタルブラスト | Official Classic page |
| Our listing name | PSA10 Suicune ex[CLK 010/032] (Pokemon Card Game Classic) | Our store |
| English search name | Suicune ex 010/034 | Search phrase only |
| Card text, HP, illustrator, rarity | Not documented in our sources | — |

The photograph is the slab photo from our listing. It is the only image of this card in our sources, which is why this guide describes the card through its product and its listing rather than through its printed text.
Reading the Listing Name
A listing name packs several facts into one line. Taking the Suicune ex listing apart avoids treating the English search phrase and the listing number as the same thing.
| Part of the name | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| PSA10 | The slabbed grade, as our listing names it |
| Suicune ex | The card name with a lower-case ex, as printed for this Classic card |
| [CLK 010/032] | Our listing’s set code and number; CLK is the code our listing uses for Classic |
| (Pokemon Card Game Classic) | The product, not a booster set |
The listing is a PSA 10 back order: a PSA 10 copy is offered as a back order, sourced to order, at ¥8,999 (~$58). The product page shows the current terms. The listing name does not state a rarity letter, so this guide does not add one.
The Product: Pokémon Card Game Classic
Pokémon Card Game Classic is a 2023 product made by nendo, Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company. It was not an ordinary set release: it had an official price of ¥35,000 tax included, by lottery only, through Pokémon Center Online, and it uses a standalone ruleset. Those facts come from our Pokémon Card Game Classic guide, and the official page for the product is on pokemon-card.com.

| Fact | Classic |
|---|---|
| Makers | nendo, Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company |
| Year | 2023 |
| Official price | ¥35,000 tax included |
| How it was sold | Lottery only, through Pokémon Center Online |
| Rules | A standalone ruleset |
| Decks | Three 60-card decks |
The standalone ruleset matters for how you read the card. Classic cards are built for Classic’s own rules, so a text or an effect that applies to a modern ex card cannot be assumed to apply here, and nothing in this guide carries a rule across from one to the other.
The Three Decks
Classic holds three 60-card decks, each built around a starter and a Legendary ex.
| Deck | Starter | Legendary ex |
|---|---|---|
| Venusaur deck | Venusaur | Lugia ex |
| Charizard deck | Charizard | Ho-Oh ex |
| Blastoise deck (Water) | Blastoise | Suicune ex |
The Japanese deck name カメックス&スイクンexデッキ pairs Blastoise (カメックス) with Suicune ex. The decklists are not documented in our sources, so the number of copies of any card in a deck, and which other cards the Water deck contains, are not stated here. Our Classic guide is the place for the product-level picture.
010/032 and 010/034
Two numbers circulate for this card. Our listing prints 010/032. The English-language phrase collectors search for is 010/034. The numerators match at 010; the denominators differ by two.
| Number | Where it appears | How this guide treats it |
|---|---|---|
| 010/032 | Our listing name, with the code CLK | The number we list the card under |
| 010/034 | The English search phrase "Suicune ex 010/034" | A search name only; no English print facts are stated |
Our sources do not explain the difference between the two denominators, and this guide does not guess at one. If a seller quotes 010/034, the safe step is to match the slab label to the product and the card name rather than to either number alone: the label should name Pokemon Card Game Classic and Suicune ex. No English-print date, count or price is given here because no source in our hands supplies one.
Why the Official Database Does Not List It
The official Japanese card database on pokemon-card.com holds 25 Suicune entries. The Classic Suicune ex is not among them, which is why this card has no database detail page, no card ID and no database image. The official Classic product page names it.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Is it a database entry? | No; it is not among the 25 Suicune entries |
| What does the official Classic page say? | It names a new Suicune ex card with the attack クリスタルブラスト, in the カメックス&スイクンexデッキ |
| Card text beyond the attack name | Not documented in our sources |
| Illustrator | Not documented in our sources |
| Rarity | Not documented in our sources, and not part of our listing name |
The database also never prints a rarity letter, so even for the cards it does hold, a letter such as SR or SAR comes from a listing name rather than from the database. For this card the listing name gives none.
An Earlier Suicune ex: Rocket’s Suicune ex
The lower-case ex on a Suicune card is not new to Classic. Our legendary-beasts guide records Rocket’s Suicune ex in the EX Team Rocket Returns set, numbered #105/109 in English-set numbering. It is a separate card, from a different era and a different product line, and it shares only the ex in its name with the Classic card.
| Carta | Prodotto | Number | Status in our sources |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rocket’s Suicune ex | EX Team Rocket Returns | #105/109 (English numbering) | Recorded in our legendary-beasts guide; no image |
| Suicune ex | Pokemon Card Game Classic | CLK 010/032 (our listing) | Product and deck documented; card details not |
The same guide records Rocket’s Entei ex and an Entei ex from the same 2003 to 2005 era. The official database’s modern Suicune entries do not include a Suicune ex of any kind, which is a statement about the database, not about the cards that exist. For the other beasts, see the legendary-beasts value guide.
Suicune Tipi di carte Side by Side
Placing the Classic card beside the Suicune cards the database does document makes the differences concrete. Each row below is described from its own database entry or from the Classic page, and card text is given as a rendering of the printed Japanese.
| Type | HP | Illustrator | One feature (rendering) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Suicune | S4a 033/190 | 120 | so-taro | Attack オーロラループ deals 130 and returns 2 Energy to hand |
| Suicune V | S12a 215/172 | 210 | Atsushi Furusawa | Ability しゅんそく draws 1 card while Active |
| Suicune GX | SM8 028/095 | 180 | 5ban Graphics | GX attack ブライニクルGX switches the Pokémon with a Benched one |
| Suicune & Entei LEGEND | L2-B 065/080 and 066/080 | 160 | Shinji Higuchi | Two cards combined on the Bench |
| Suicune ex | Classic CLK 010/032 | Not stated | Not stated | Attack named クリスタルブラスト |

Placed on a timeline, the Classic card of 2023 sits after the Suicune GX 028/095 (SM8, Friday, September 7, 2018) and the Suicune V 215/172 (VSTAR Universe, Friday, December 2, 2022), and before the M2 026/080 print (Friday, September 26, 2025). For a collector assembling one Suicune of each type, the Classic ex is the only entry that cannot be checked against the database, and the only one whose rules come from a standalone ruleset. That is a reason to rely on the slab label and the product name rather than on the number when you compare copies.
Each rendering describes that one card only. The V’s ability and the GX’s attack are not rules shared by every Suicune, and the Classic card’s rules are those of its own standalone ruleset. The full comparison of Suicune, Suicune V, GX, ex and LEGEND is in our Suicune card-types guide, and the overall family is in the Suicune Japanese cards guide.
A Sealed Box With Suicune Prints
The Classic product is not in our sealed range. If you want a Suicune from a sealed box we do list, the SM8 box is the match: the official database shows Suicune GX 028/095 and the secret-numbered 098/095 in SM8. Our listing names for those two cards write the set as Super-Burst Impact, while the sealed product is listed as SM8 Super Explosive Impact.
This guide quotes no pull rates, and whether a given print appears in a box is a matter of the opening. The box is a sealed product for the set, not a route to the Classic card.
The Other Suicune Cards We List
The Suicune cards below, the Classic ex among them, are all PSA 10 back orders — sourced to order; each product page shows the current terms.
| Listing (as we name it) | PSA 10 back order |
|---|---|
| PSA10 Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] (Pokemon Card Game Classic) | ¥8,999 (~$58) |
| PSA10 Suicune GX RR [SM8 028/095] | ¥10,499 (~$68) |
| PSA10 Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172] | ¥18,620 (~$121) |
| PSA10 Suicune GX SR [SM8 098/095] | ¥33,786 (~$219) |
| PSA10 Suicune : Old Back [neo3 No.245] (Awakening Legends) | ¥252,606 (~$1,640) |

The Classic Suicune ex has the lowest price in this table, which is a statement about our listed back-order prices on October 29, 2026, not about the cards’ worth. The rating letters in the other listing names (RR, SR, SAR) are how our listings label those cards; the official database does not print rarities. The old-back neo3 Suicune is a different era entirely, and the old-back guide explains how to recognise that card back.
Suicune and the 2027 Trademark Report
On October 29, 2026 premium.gamepedia.jp and PokeGuardian reported a Japanese trademark filing for 「オーロラの波紋」, which collectors read as a possible Suicune set; nothing is announced. Our Aurora Ripples trademark guide (working English translation; no official English name exists) explains what is confirmed and what is not, and the 2027 ex★ round-up places it among the other reported names.
