Grusha Supporter Card Guide: Every Snow Hazard Print

Grusha Supporter Card Guide: Every Snow Hazard Print

Grusha shares one thing with every popular Supporter card: the artwork changes more than most collectors realise. In the Japanese Snow Hazard (SV2P) set alone, Grusha was printed four separate times — a plain Uncommon, a Secret Rare full art, a Special Art Rare from a completely different illustrator, and a promo card handed out at events. Three of those four look similar enough at a glance to confuse a new buyer.

This guide lists every verified Japanese print of Grusha, tells you how to identify which one you’re holding by card number and illustrator, and points to the graded copy we currently have listed. We deal in Japanese Pokemon singles and sealed product out of Tokyo, so the identification details here come from cards we’ve actually handled.

Key Takeaway

Grusha has four confirmed Japanese prints from Snow Hazard (SV2P): Regular 068/071, Secret Rare 090/071, Special Art Rare 095/071, and the SV-P mirror-holo promo. The 090/071 Secret Rare and both regular-set prints are illustrated by GIDORA; the Special Art Rare is illustrated by a different artist, DOM. A PSA 10-graded 090/071 Secret Rare is listed at ¥12,525 (~$79) (업데이트: 현재 품절 — Quick Order로 재입고 요청).

Every Known Print of Grusha

Grusha is a Trainer/Supporter card that first appeared in the Japanese Snow Hazard (SV2P) set, with an English equivalent in Paldea Evolved. Four Japanese prints of the card are confirmed:

Print JP Number Rarity Illustrator
Grusha (Regular) 068/071 Uncommon GIDORA
Grusha (Secret Rare) 090/071 (업데이트: 현재 품절 — Quick Order로 재입고 요청) Secret Rare (Full Art) GIDORA
Grusha (Special Art Rare) 095/071 Special Art Rare DOM
Grusha (Promo) 096/SV-P Promo (Mirror Holofoil) GIDORA

The 096/SV-P promo is the hardest of the four to find outside Japan — it was distributed to winners of New Set Battle events at Pokemon Card Gym venues starting 28 July 2023, rather than sold through packs. The other three all come out of Snow Hazard booster packs at different rarity slots.

For the full 99-card Snow Hazard list, see our Snow Hazard (SV2P) card list.

The Secret Rare Full Art: 090/071

Grusha 090/071 Secret Rare Full Art card, Snow Hazard SV2P, illustrated by GIDORA
Grusha 090/071, Secret Rare (Full Art) — Snow Hazard (SV2P)

The print most collectors mean when they say “the Grusha SR” is 090/071, a full-art Secret Rare illustrated by GIDORA. It sits above the Regular and Special Art Rare prints in Snow Hazard’s rarity structure, and it’s the print we’ve graded and listed as PSA 10.

A PSA 10 copy of the 090/071 Secret Rare is listed at ¥12,525 (~$79) (업데이트: 현재 품절 — Quick Order로 재입고 요청). It ships from Tokyo with tracked delivery. Restock requests for ungraded or additional graded copies go through our Quick Order page.

Telling the Four Prints Apart

Grusha 068/071 Regular Uncommon card, Snow Hazard SV2P

Grusha 068/071 (Regular)

Grusha 095/071 Special Art Rare card, Snow Hazard SV2P, illustrated by DOM

Grusha 095/071 (업데이트: 현재 품절 — Quick Order로 재입고 요청) (Special Art Rare)

The card number in the bottom corner is the fastest way to identify a Grusha print, since three of the four share the same character and set:

  • 068/071 — the plain Uncommon. Standard card frame, no full-bleed artwork.
  • 090/071 — the Secret Rare. Full-art frame, illustrated by GIDORA, the same artist as the Regular print.
  • 095/071 — the Special Art Rare. Also a full-art treatment, but the artwork is by a different illustrator (DOM), so the composition and style don’t match the 090/071 print even though both are full arts.
  • 096/SV-P — the event promo. Carries the “SV-P” set code rather than a Snow Hazard set number, and uses a mirror holofoil finish rather than a full-art frame.
Check This First

If your card has a full-art frame, check the illustrator credit in the small print before assuming it’s the 090/071 — the 095/071 Special Art Rare is also full art, but it’s a different illustrator and a different print entirely.

GIDORA vs DOM: Two Illustrators

Grusha 096/SV-P, Promo (Mirror Holofoil) — Scarlet & Violet Promotional Cards

Three of Grusha’s four Japanese prints — the Regular 068/071, the Secret Rare 090/071, and the SV-P promo 096 — are illustrated by GIDORA. The Special Art Rare 095/071 is the odd one out, illustrated by DOM.

That matters for collectors building a set by illustrator rather than by rarity: if you’re after “the GIDORA Grushas,” you want three of the four prints, not all four. The 095/071 Special Art Rare is a separate artistic take on the character, not a rarity variant of the same artwork.

Where Grusha Fits in Snow Hazard (SV2P)

Snow Hazard (SV2P) released in Japan on 14 April 2023 as a 99-card set. Grusha’s four prints are spread across that set’s rarity tiers, from the Uncommon 068/071 through to the Secret Rare 090/071, plus the standalone SV-P promo distributed separately.

Snow Hazard is one of two paired Japanese sets from that release window — see our guide to the Japanese sets behind Paldea Evolved (SV1a, SV2P, SV2D) for how it connects to the wider release. For broader context on how Snow Hazard’s pull structure works across its full card pool, our Snow Hazard box-value overview covers the set beyond this one card.

The English Side: Paldea Evolved

Snow Hazard’s English equivalent set is Paldea Evolved, which carries its own three Grusha prints:

EN Print Number Rarity
Grusha 184/193 Uncommon
Grusha 253/193 Ultra Rare
Grusha 268/193 Special Illustration Rare

The EN Ultra Rare and Special Illustration Rare slots are the rough equivalents of the JP Secret Rare and Special Art Rare tiers, but the numbering, artwork framing and print runs differ between the two languages — they aren’t the same physical cards, just the same character printed in a parallel release. We deal in the Japanese prints specifically, which is what this guide covers.

Which Print Should You Collect

What you should look for depends on what you’re building:

  • Set completion — you’ll want all four Japanese prints (068, 090, 095, 096-promo), since each is a distinct card number in Limitless TCG’s set database.
  • Illustrator collecting — the Regular 068/071, Secret Rare 090/071 and SV-P promo 096 are all GIDORA; only the Special Art Rare 095/071 breaks the pattern with DOM.
  • Graded display piece — the Secret Rare 090/071 is the print listed in graded form. Our PSA 10 copy is currently listed at ¥12,525 (~$79) (업데이트: 현재 품절 — Quick Order로 재입고 요청) and ships from Tokyo.

If you’re specifically after the 095/071 Special Art Rare or the 068/071 Regular in raw condition, those aren’t in our current graded lineup — request them through Quick Order and we’ll source what’s available.
