Regional Pokemon Center Pikachu Cards Ranked by Value: 2026 Price Ranking

Regional Pokemon Center Pikachu Cards Ranked by Value: 2026 Price Ranking

Five Pikachus. Five Japanese cities. One is currently listed at ¥34,100. Another is listed at ¥466,180 — a 13.7x gap between the cheapest and the most expensive card in the same regional-promo family.

Our regional Pokemon Center Pikachu guide already covers what each of these promos is and where it came from. This article does something different: it ranks the five Japan-exclusive regional Pikachu promos we carry by our own current PSA10 listing price, high to low, and explains why the gap between them is as wide as it is.

All five are Pokemon Center-distributed, Japan-only Pikachu promo cards, each tied to a specific Japanese city or region. All five copies referenced below are PSA10-graded and currently listed at samuraiswordtokyo.com. Prices are converted at ¥159/USD (September 2026).

Key Takeaway

Ranked by our own current listing price: Mega Tokyo Pikachu (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) leads at ¥466,180 (~$2,932), followed by Kanazawa Pikachu No Mark (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) at ¥209,502 (~$1,318). Fukuoka’s Pikachu sits at the bottom of this five-card ranking at ¥34,100 (~$214). This is a ranking of our own listed prices, not a market-wide valuation claim.

All Five Regional Pikachu Promos, Ranked by Price

Every regional Pokemon Center Pikachu promo we currently carry, ranked by listed price, high to low:

등급 카드 Set / Number Listed price
1 Mega Tokyo Pikachu XY-P 098/XY-P (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) ¥466,180 (~$2,932) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)
2 Kanazawa Pikachu, No Mark S-P 147/S-P (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) ¥209,502 (~$1,318) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)
3 Kanazawa Pikachu, With Mark S-P 144/S-P ¥69,938 (~$440)
4 Tohoku’s Pikachu SV-P 260/SV-P ¥40,370 (~$254)
5 Fukuoka’s Pikachu SV-P 289/SV-P ¥34,100 (~$214)

All five are PSA10-graded and currently listed at the prices above — this table is our own store’s listing-price ranking, not a market-wide valuation. Two things stand out immediately. First, the top two spots are separated from the bottom three by a wide gap: Mega Tokyo and the Kanazawa No Mark copy sit well above ¥200,000, while the other three sit under ¥70,000. Second, the two Kanazawa listings — ostensibly the “same” card — are almost ¥140,000 apart. We break down why in the sections below.

#1: Mega Tokyo Pikachu

Mega Tokyo Pikachu PROMO 098/XY-P Japanese card
Mega Tokyo Pikachu, PROMO 098/XY-P

Mega Tokyo Pikachu (JP: メガトウキョーのピカチュウ), promo number 098/XY-P, currently tops this ranking at ¥466,180 (~$2,932) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) PSA10 — more than double the second-place card and over thirteen times the fifth-place card on this list.

It comes from the XY-P promo block, the oldest promo era represented in this ranking. Of the five cards here, it is the only one distributed under an X&Y-era promo code rather than a Sword & Shield or Scarlet & Violet one, which puts real distance between it and the other four in terms of print era.

For the full identification and background story on this specific promo, see our dedicated Mega Tokyo Pikachu promo card guide.

#2 and #3: The Two Kanazawa Pikachu Variants

Kanazawa Pikachu (JP: カナザワのピカチュウ) exists in our catalogue as two separate listings, collector-labeled “No Mark” and “With Mark.” Both share the same promo set code, S-P, but carry different card numbers — and a substantial price gap.

Kanazawa Pikachu No Mark PROMO 147/S-P Japanese card

Kanazawa Pikachu, No Mark — 147/S-P
¥209,502 (~$1,318) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)

Kanazawa Pikachu With Mark PROMO 144/S-P Japanese card

Kanazawa Pikachu, With Mark — 144/S-P

The No Mark copy (147/S-P) is listed at ¥209,502 (~$1,318) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) PSA10, putting it in second place overall. The With Mark copy (144/S-P) is listed at ¥69,938 (~$440) PSA10, in third place — roughly a third of the No Mark price.

“No Mark” and “With Mark” are collector-labeled variant names rather than official card-text terminology; we’re not asserting a specific printed stamp or mark as a confirmed card-text fact here, only reporting the two distinct card numbers and the price gap between our listings for each. For the full identification breakdown of how to tell the two apart, see our Kanazawa Pikachu With Mark & No Mark guide.

Check the Card Number First

If you’re trying to work out which Kanazawa Pikachu you’re holding, the printed number — 147/S-P or 144/S-P — is the reliable identifier. Don’t rely on “mark” descriptions alone.

#4: Tohoku’s Pikachu

Tohoku's Pikachu PROMO 260/SV-P Japanese card
Tohoku’s Pikachu, PROMO 260/SV-P

Tohoku’s Pikachu (JP: トウホクのピカチュウ), promo number 260/SV-P, is currently listed at ¥40,370 (~$254) PSA10, taking fourth place in this ranking. It was distributed through the Special Box “Pokemon Center Tohoku,” and belongs to the SV-P promo block — the current-era code shared with Fukuoka’s Pikachu in fifth place.

At fourth and fifth, Tohoku’s and Fukuoka’s Pikachu are the two closest-priced cards on this list, separated by roughly ¥6,270 in our current listings. For the full identification and distribution details, see our Tohoku’s Pikachu promo card guide.

#5: Fukuoka’s Pikachu

Fukuoka's Pikachu PROMO 289/SV-P Japanese card
Fukuoka’s Pikachu, PROMO 289/SV-P

Fukuoka’s Pikachu (JP: フクオカのピカチュウ), promo number 289/SV-P, sits at the bottom of this five-card ranking, currently listed at ¥34,100 (~$214) PSA10. Like Tohoku’s Pikachu, it’s an SV-P block card — the newest promo code represented in this lineup.

Fifth place at ¥34,100 doesn’t mean this is a “lesser” card — it’s still a Japan-exclusive, Pokemon Center-distributed, city-specific Pikachu promo in PSA10. It simply reflects where it sits relative to the other four in our own current listings. For the full write-up, see our Fukuoka’s Pikachu promo card guide.

Why Promo-Block Era Drives the Price Gap

Line the five cards up by promo block and the ranking mostly sorts itself: XY-P (X&Y era) → S-P (Sword & Shield era) → SV-P (Scarlet & Violet era, current).

  • Mega Tokyo Pikachu — XY-P block, the oldest era here, and our highest-priced listing.
  • Kanazawa Pikachu (both variants) — S-P block, the middle era, and our second- and third-highest listings.
  • Tohoku’s and Fukuoka’s Pikachu — SV-P block, the newest and current era, and our two lowest listings.

We don’t have independently verified original distribution dates for these individual promos to make a precise “years since release” calculation, so we won’t put exact years on it here — but with only five listings to compare, the promo-block sequence lines up loosely with the broad pattern: older promo eras in this set of five carry a real premium in our current listings over newer ones. That’s an observation, not a proven cause — the Kanazawa pair itself is a reminder why: two cards from the same promo block still price nearly 3x apart, meaning card number and specific variant matter at least as much as era.

Scope of This Ranking

This is a ranking of five specific promos currently in our own PSA10 inventory, priced against each other. It is not a claim that these are the only regional Pokemon Center Pikachu promos ever released, and it is not a third-party market-value assessment.

자주 묻는 질문

Which regional Pokemon Center Pikachu promo has the highest resale value?

Of the five we carry, Mega Tokyo Pikachu (098/XY-P) is currently listed the highest at ¥466,180 (~$2,932) PSA10. This reflects our own current listing prices, not a broader market-wide valuation.

What’s the difference between Kanazawa Pikachu No Mark and With Mark?

They are two separate card numbers from the same S-P promo block: No Mark is 147/S-P, currently listed at ¥209,502 (~$1,318) PSA10; With Mark is 144/S-P, currently listed at ¥69,938 (~$440) PSA10. “No Mark” and “With Mark” are collector-labeled variant names, not confirmed card-text terminology.

Why is Mega Tokyo Pikachu worth so much more than the other four?

It’s from the XY-P promo block, the oldest era represented in this ranking, while the Kanazawa pair comes from the middle-era S-P block and Tohoku’s/Fukuoka’s Pikachu come from the current SV-P block. In our own listings, the older era carries a real premium.

How much is Tohoku’s Pikachu worth compared to Fukuoka’s Pikachu?

Tohoku’s Pikachu (260/SV-P) is currently listed at ¥40,370 (~$254) PSA10; Fukuoka’s Pikachu (289/SV-P) is currently listed at ¥34,100 (~$214) PSA10. Both are SV-P block cards and are the two closest-priced promos in this ranking.

Is this ranking based on market value or this store’s prices?

This ranking is based strictly on our own current PSA10 listing prices for the five regional promos we carry. It is not a third-party market-value or auction-price assessment.
