Identifying the Roller Skater Secret Rare (073/064)
Both Japanese prints share the same card name and the same Trainer status, but they’re easy to tell apart once you know the card number.
The 073/064 print sits outside the set’s regular numbering on a 64-card base checklist and carries the full-art Secret Rare treatment. It’s illustrated by nagimiso. The 058/064 print is the standard Common version of the same card, illustrated by Yusuke Ohmura — a completely different artist working on the same character.
Look at the card number printed on the bottom edge. 073/064 is the Secret Rare full art; 058/064 is the Common. The two are also illustrated by different artists, so the artwork style differs as well as the card frame.

The Set: Remix Bout (SM11a) and Its English Counterpart
Remix Bout (SM11a) is a 73-card Japanese set that released on 5 July 2019. Its English equivalent is Cosmic Eclipse. Knowing this pairing matters if you’re searching listings across both languages, since the same card can turn up under either set name depending on where it’s being sold.
Roller Skater made it into Cosmic Eclipse as well, in two forms: #203/236, an Uncommon printed with the same Yusuke Ohmura artwork as the Japanese Common, and #235/236, a Full Art Rare Ultra using the same nagimiso artwork as the Japanese Secret Rare. Those two English numbers are useful context for cross-referencing artwork — the illustrator pairing carries over between languages even though the card numbers and set names don’t — though this guide’s pricing and images stay on the Japanese side, where we source stock directly.

What Roller Skater’s Discard-and-Draw Effect Does
Roller Skater is a standard Supporter card — it does not carry the ACE SPEC designation. The card’s effect: discard a card from your hand, then draw 2 cards. If the card you discarded was an Energy card, draw 2 additional cards instead. That makes it a card-advantage engine that rewards discarding Energy specifically — a detail worth knowing before you build around it.
Because it’s a regular Supporter rather than an ACE SPEC card, Roller Skater follows the standard one-Supporter-per-turn rule rather than competing against other cards for a single deck-wide slot.

Other Known Printings: the Common, and What We Can’t Verify
The 058/064 Common is the standard base-set print of Roller Skater — the version you’d expect to open from a booster pack rather than pull as a rare hit. It shares the card’s name and discard-and-draw effect with the Secret Rare but carries none of the full-art treatment, and it’s illustrated by Yusuke Ohmura rather than nagimiso.
A further Japanese reprint is referenced in the “Metal Duraludon V Deck” product at #124/127, also credited to Yusuke Ohmura. We can confirm this reprint exists as a documented fact, but we have not been able to verify a working image for it or confirm its set code against our usual card-database source, so we’re flagging it here as unverified/community-reported rather than showing an image or pricing it.
