Every Verified Moby Dick Printing

Whitebeard’s ship has appeared in the game across three confirmed mainline sets to date, plus a confirmed parallel treatment of the newest number. Here is every print we’ve verified, in release order:

All four rows are the same Stage card, printed under a Whitebeard Pirates crew designation each time. Across the three card numbers, no two share the same colour-and-rarity combination — the colour runs Red, then Blue, then back to Red, and the rarity only lifts off Common with the newest number; the OP16-021 parallel simply repeats that same Red/Rare combination as its own standard printing. Nothing about the card’s colour history is consistent across the three sets, so if you’re trying to match a loose card to a set, colour alone won’t do it — you need the printed card number.

The Colour Switch: OP08-056 in -Two Legends- [OP-08]

The second card number, OP08-056, moved the ship into -Two Legends- [OP-08] and switched its colour from Red to Blue, while keeping the same Common rarity and the same cost of 2. It’s the only one of the three verified card numbers coloured Blue — both the OP-02 debut and the later OP-16 number are Red, so this one stands apart in the middle of the printing history.

OP08-056 is the print inside our currently listed OP-08 Two Legends Japanese One Piece Booster Box — Damaged Box, priced at ¥9,500 (~$60). It’s a Damaged Box listing rather than a regular-condition one — the sealed box itself has cosmetic shelf wear, not the cards inside.

The OP16-021 Parallel

OP16-021 also has a confirmed parallel treatment, listed separately on the official card database under the same card number. It shares the same Rare rarity, Red colour, and cost of 1 as the standard OP16-021 — the parallel art is an alternate treatment of the same print rather than a distinct card number. Both the standard and parallel versions come from the same -THE TIME OF BATTLE- [OP-16] booster box, so opening a currently listed OP-16 box can produce either treatment.

Of the three sets covered in this guide, OP-02 and OP-08 have no confirmed Moby Dick parallel — the parallel treatment we’ve verified sits only with the newest, highest-rarity printing.
