A third English print, Mega Promos #7, and a Japanese Pokémon Card Gym promo, SV-P 262, carry the same Jiro Sasumo illustrator credit as the regular 032/193 and ASC 39. Every match is a card-level match; no official page states that Ascended Heroes equals MEGA Dream ex, and Bulbapedia notes that MEGA Dream ex has no official English name.

Psyduck in Ascended Heroes and MEGA Dream ex: The Exact Mapping
Bulbapedia’s Psyduck card page, as of October 1, 2026, lists three rows that connect the English and Japanese prints. Limitless TCG’s pages for the six cards name the same set of prints. The table gives each pair with the illustrator credit printed on both sides.

The Common ASC 39 pairs with the regular Japanese card 032/193, not with the AR; the Art Rare ASC 226 pairs with the AR 199/193. The AR is the print with a full-art illustration credited to REND, and it is the Japanese card we offer as a PSA 10 back order. Its English counterpart is therefore ASC 226.
The match signal is the same illustrator credit on both sides of each pair; no source states that the artwork is identical. Limitless prints regulation mark I on all six pages and no set-size denominator; the official database page prints no regulation mark, so the letter is not confirmed on the official page.
The Japanese Psyduck AR 199/193 (REND)
MEGA Dream ex (M2a) is the Japanese MEGA high class pack that released on Friday, November 28, 2025, at a suggested retail price of ¥550 including tax with ten 팩당 카드, according to the official product page at pokemon-card.com/ex/m2a. The official database holds 250 M2a entries: 193 numbered up to 193 and 57 numbered above it (AR 20, SR 9, MA 10, SAR 17, MUR 1). The product page also announces the new rarity MA, printed as Mega Attack Rare.
The database gives Basic, 70 HP, Water type, weakness Lightning ×2, no resistance and a retreat cost of one. The card has one Ability, しめりけ: as long as this Pokémon is in play, every Pokémon on both sides loses each Ability whose effect Knocks Out that Pokémon itself. Its one attack is ぶつかる (two colorless energy, 20 damage, no effect text).
The database credits the illustration to REND. Bulbapedia describes the English ASC 226 as a Full Art illustration rare print by REND, originating from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset, and Limitless credits ASC 226 to REND as well.
The Japanese Regular Psyduck 032/193
The regular card, database entry 032/193, shows no rarity icon: in M2a only the RR cards carry an icon among the 193 base numbers, and the other 166 entries show none. It is credited to Jiro Sasumo and prints the same HP, Ability, attack and weakness as the AR, so the two M2a Psyduck cards differ in rarity, artwork and number.
SNKRDUNK lists 032/193 as three products: the plain card, an Energy-symbol Mirror and a Ball Mirror. Bulbapedia describes the same two Mirror Holofoil variants, one with a Water Energy symbol and one with a Love Ball, and says the regular print in each release has them. The official database has a single 032/193 entry and does not separate the variants.
The English Psyduck Prints: ASC 39, ASC 226 and MEP Promo 7
The official English page for Ascended Heroes gives January 30, 2026 as the release date and “Over 290” cards. Limitless counts 295: 84 Common, 69 Uncommon, 39 Double Rare, 25 Rare, 33 Art Rare, 21 Ultra Rare, 22 Special Art Rare and 2 Secret Rare. Limitless lists these three English Psyduck cards, each with the same values: Psyduck, Water, 70 HP, Basic, weakness Lightning, no resistance, retreat cost 1.

Limitless names all three Japanese numbers on each page; the illustrator column separates them. Bulbapedia (as of October 1, 2026) prints ASC 39 as 039/217, Common, and ASC 226 as 226/217, Illustration Rare. Limitless’s “Art Rare” and Bulbapedia’s “Illustration Rare” are each source’s own name for the Full Art print.
Bulbapedia’s Ascended Heroes page (as of September 30, 2026) says the set “includes cards from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset and the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection” and, with 295 cards, calls it the largest Pokémon TCG expansion in the languages it names.
The Promo Prints: SV-P 262 and MEP Promo 7
The Japanese SV-P 262 is credited to Jiro Sasumo in the official database, shows no rarity icon and prints Basic, 70 HP, Water. Bulbapedia (as of October 1, 2026) calls it one of seven SV-P Promotional cards in Pokémon Card Gym Promo Card Pack 10, distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues from April 18, 2025, and notes that the Japanese print carries the Pokémon Card Gym logo.
The English MEP Promo 7 is the same card released as a Pixel Cosmos Holofoil MEP Black Star Promo in Mega Evolution Three-Pack Blisters from September 26, 2025, per Bulbapedia. Bulbapedia then says the card was reprinted in Ascended Heroes, alongside the REND illustration rare print, with the regular print in each release having Mirror Holofoil variants. The Gym-pack date and the blister date are Bulbapedia’s; they are not confirmed on an official page.
The practical result for a buyer is that the Jiro Sasumo Psyduck credit appears on four prints: Japanese M2a 032/193, Japanese SV-P 262, English ASC 39 and English MEP 7. The REND credit appears on two: Japanese M2a 199/193 and English ASC 226.

Every row is a Basic Water Pokémon. Three other Japanese prints are easy to confuse with the M2a cards: the SV2a 175/165 AR (Whisker), the SV2a 054/165 C (Taira Akitsu) and the SMP 286/SM-P promo (Tomokazu Komiya). None of them is a MEGA Dream ex card.

Five checks separate the prints when a card is in hand or in a photo.
- Language and name. The Japanese cards read コダック; the English cards read Psyduck.
- Number. The Japanese cards are numbered 032/193, 199/193 or 262/SV-P. Bulbapedia prints the English cards as 039/217 and 226/217, and Limitless lists them as #39 and #226.
- Illustrator line. REND marks the full-art Art Rare; Jiro Sasumo marks the regular card and both promos.
- Rarity. The Art Rare is the only Psyduck with a rarity icon in M2a. The regular Japanese card shows none, and the English regular card is a Common.
- Set or promo mark. Japanese cards read MEGA Dream ex (M2a) or SV-P; English cards read Ascended Heroes (ASC) or Mega Promos (MEP).
