Mega Greninja ex has four Japanese prints in the official card database, numbered 022/083 to 120/083, and on August 31, 2026 the Pokémon Company showed a fifth: a Mega Attack Rare numbered 208/165 on an under-development render. As of October 1, 2026 the card itself is official, having appeared in the company’s YouTube video after the World Championships, while its set, MEGA x MEGA Parade, is reported by Pokébeach and has no official page.
The render’s printed text, the four Ninja Spinner database rows the card descends from, the English Chaos Rising prints with the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection page on pokemon.com, and dated asking prices for the existing prints make up the record; the video’s own caption says the cards shown “may differ from the final products”.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate; SNKRDUNK figures are lowest asking prices on the dates given, never sales.
The Mega Attack Rare 208/165 prints the same HP, ability and attacks as the Ninja Spinner card, with a new illustrator credit, Taiga Kasai, who is not credited on any of the four 2026 Japanese prints. Those four are RR 022/083, SR 098/083, SAR 114/083 and MUR 120/083. Their source box, M4 Ninja Spinner, is currently listed from ¥7,248 (~$47) in its No Shrink option.
The database rows, the English prints and the asking prices are as of October 1, 2026 (asks dated individually) (asks dated individually). The next update follows an official product page for the set or a further card reveal.
What the August 31 Video Showed
The Pokémon Company’s Japanese channel published 「【公式】ポケモンカードゲーム「ex★」」 on August 31, 2026, and the English channel published “NEW ex★ Series & Mega Lucario Z ex Reveal | PokémonXP and Pokémon Worlds 2026” the same day. pokemon.com’s recap of the closing ceremonies names “Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Rayquaza ex” as Mega attack rare sneak peeks, with the footnote that the cards shown are under development. The Japanese news page on pokemon-card.com dated August 31, 2026 names only Mega Lucario Z ex.
Pokébeach, in its August 31 article, wrote that Pokémon “teased Mega Attack Rares from what is presumably February’s MEGA x MEGA Parade”, the Japanese high class pack. Earlier, on August 25, 2026, it reported the pack’s Japanese release for Friday, February 19, 2027 at ¥550 for ten cards. The official site had not listed the product as of October 1, 2026.

The hub holds the set-level facts in MEGA x MEGA Parade: release date, price and card list, the running list sits in the card list tracker, and all four revealed cards are compared in the four Mega Attack Rares explained.
The Card Text as Printed on the Render
The render prints a Stage 2 Water Pokémon, 350 HP, evolving from Frogadier (ゲコガシラから進化), under the gold Mega Evolution ex rule: when a Mega Evolution ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes three Prize cards. The attack name NINJA SPINNER is set in oversized lettering across the artwork. Ability and attack names stay in Japanese in the table; the effects are renderings of the printed text.
| Element | As printed on the render (rendering) | Ninja Spinner database rows |
|---|---|---|
| Ability: ひっさつしゅりけん | Usable once per turn while this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, if you discard a basic Water Energy from your hand: put six damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokémon. | Same ability text on all four rows |
| Attack: ニンジャスピナー | Two Water Energy, 120 damage plus; if you choose, return one Water Energy attached to this Pokémon to your hand for 80 more damage. | Same attack and cost on all four rows |
| Weakness / resistance | Lightning ×2 / none | Lightning ×2 / none |
| Retreat cost | One Colorless | One |
| Illustrator | Taiga Kasai | takuyoa (three rows), Susumu Maeya (one row) |
pokemon.com’s page for the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection gives the English names for the same card: the ability is Mortal Shuriken, which “lets you discard a Basic Water Energy from your hand to place six damage counters on one of your opponent’s Pokémon”, and the Ninja Spinner attack “has the potential to do 200 damage”, the 120 plus 80 of the Japanese text. Text, HP and attacks match the Japanese database rows, so the Mega Attack Rare is a re-illustrated version of the 2026 card rather than a different card.
Every Japanese Print: The Four Ninja Spinner Rows
The official card database, searched by the exact name メガゲッコウガex, returns four rows, all from M4 ニンジャスピナー and all printing a denominator of 083. RR is Double Rare, SR is Super Rare, SAR is Special Art Rare and MUR is the icon on the highest-numbered print of the set.
| Database ID | Number | Rarity | Illustrator | Our listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50106 | 022/083 | RR | takuyoa | Not listed |
| 50197 | 098/083 | SR | takuyoa | ¥5,037 (~$33), PSA 10 back order |
| 50213 | 114/083 | SAR | Susumu Maeya | ¥25,918 (~$168), PSA 10 back order |
| 50219 | 120/083 | MUR | takuyoa | ¥95,470 (~$620), PSA 10 back order |
| — | 208/165 (render) | MA | Taiga Kasai | Not listed |
M4 022/083 RR — takuyoa

The Double Rare is the base print and the only one of the four numbered inside 083. It prints the same 350 HP, the same ability and the same attack as the other three; the artwork and the rarity icon are what differ.
M4 098/083 SR — takuyoa

The Super Rare is the first print numbered above 083 and carries the same takuyoa credit as the RR. Of the four prints, it is the entry point for a graded copy: its PSA 10 back order is priced below the SAR’s and the MUR’s.
M4 114/083 SAR — Susumu Maeya
The official database credits the Special Art Rare to Susumu Maeya and the other three rows to takuyoa. The render’s credit, Taiga Kasai, matches none of the four database rows.
M4 120/083 MUR — takuyoa
The MUR, 120/083, is the highest number in the Ninja Spinner database: the set’s 120 database rows end at this card, and it is the only MUR of the set. For the Pokémon’s earlier cards, see Mega Greninja ex Pokemon cards: every Japanese print and Best Greninja cards.
Illustrator Credits Across the Prints
Illustrator credit is the printed field that separates the render from every 2026 row. The database credits takuyoa on three prints and Susumu Maeya on one; the render credits Taiga Kasai; and the English promo from the Premium Collection, per Limitless TCG, is credited to 5ban Graphics.
| Illustrator | Source | |
|---|---|---|
| M4 022/083 RR, 098/083 SR, 120/083 MUR | takuyoa | Official database |
| M4 114/083 SAR | Susumu Maeya | Official database |
| MA 208/165 | Taiga Kasai | As printed on the render |
| MEP promo 81 (English) | 5ban Graphics | Limitless TCG; Bulbapedia |
Bulbapedia notes that the 5ban Graphics promo artwork has a Traditional Chinese M-P promo print with the Ninja Spinner logo, and the database returns no 5ban Graphics print of メガゲッコウガex in Japanese. Taiga Kasai’s credit on a Mega Attack Rare is consistent with MEGA Dream ex, where the database credits Taiga Kasai on three of the ten MA cards (the MEGA Dream ex precedent). The render’s credit is a printed fact; no source says why a given artist drew a given card.
The English Prints: Chaos Rising and the Premium Collection
Bulbapedia states that “Chaos Rising includes cards released in the Japanese Ninja Spinner expansion.” Chaos Rising is listed on pokemon.com with a release date of May 22, 2026, and Limitless TCG lists 122 cards in the set. Limitless lists the four Ninja Spinner prints under each English Mega Greninja ex. Pairing them by illustrator credit works for the SAR; takuyoa is credited on three prints on each side, so the pairing of those three follows rarity order, as in our other Ninja Spinner posts.
| English print | Limitless rarity label | Illustrator | Japanese print with the same credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaos Rising 22 | Double Rare | takuyoa | M4 022/083 RR |
| Chaos Rising 100 | Ultra Rare | takuyoa | M4 098/083 SR |
| Chaos Rising 116 | Special Art Rare | Susumu Maeya | M4 114/083 SAR |
| Chaos Rising 122 | Secret Rare | takuyoa | M4 120/083 MUR |
| Mega Promos (MEP) 81 | no rarity label | 5ban Graphics | No Japanese print with this credit |
The promo comes from the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection. pokemon.com lists a launch of July 3, 2026 and these contents: one foil promo card of Mega Greninja ex, one oversize lenticular promo card, one tech sticker and eight booster packs. The page prints no price and no pack breakdown. All five English prints carry regulation mark J on Limitless.
No English print of the Mega Attack Rare 208/165 exists. Whether MEGA x MEGA Parade has an English counterpart is not confirmed; for the earlier high class packs, the English special sets and their dates are set out in what past high class packs became in English. For the English set itself, see our Chaos Rising card list and chase cards.
Our PSA 10 Back Orders and the Dated Asks
The SR, SAR and MUR are offered as PSA 10 back orders — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The route is explained on PSA 10 백오더. The RR has no listing. The table puts our back-order prices beside SNKRDUNK’s lowest asking prices for the same prints.
| Our PSA 10 back order | SNKRDUNK raw lowest ask | SNKRDUNK PSA 10 lowest ask (listings) | Date (JST) | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 022/083 RR | Not listed | No dated figure | ¥5,400 (9) | October 1, 2026 |
| 098/083 SR | ¥5,037 (~$33) | No dated figure | ¥4,500 (30); ¥4,300 on September 30 | October 1, 2026 |
| 114/083 SAR | ¥25,918 (~$168) | ¥14,999 | ¥25,900 (33) | September 30, 2026 |
| 120/083 MUR | ¥95,470 (~$620) | ¥30,000 | ¥95,000 (30) | September 30, 2026 |

The spread across the four prints is wide: on the dated asks, the MUR’s PSA 10 lowest ask of ¥95,000 sits at nearly four times the SAR’s ¥25,900, which in turn sits at about six times the SR’s ¥4,500. The raw lowest asks are ¥14,999 for the SAR and ¥30,000 for the MUR. No dated raw ask is shown for the RR and SR rows. Every figure is an asking price on the date shown.
The Mega Attack Rare has no market history, because no copy has been printed, and the table carries no figure for it.
The Source Set: M4 Ninja Spinner
The official product page for M4 ニンジャスピナー, a MEGA expansion pack, lists release on Friday, March 13, 2026, a price of ¥180 including tax and five 팩당 카드. It prints no packs-per-box figure. The official database holds 120 rows for the set: 83 numbered up to 083 (38 C, 29 U, 8 R and 8 RR) and 37 above it (12 AR, 18 SR, 6 SAR and 1 MUR).

The same product’s Sealed option is ¥8,598 (~$56), and the M4 Ninja Spinner Damaged Box is a separate product at ¥7,501 (~$49). Set-level detail is in the M4 Ninja Spinner complete guide, the Ninja Spinner card list and the Ninja Spinner pull rates and best cards.
What MEGA Dream ex Shows About an MA Print
MA, メガアタックレア, was introduced on the official page of the high class pack MEGA Dream ex, released on Friday, November 28, 2025 at ¥550 for ten cards, where MA appears as a new rarity with a special mirror finish. The page says only that cards are inserted at random and prints no pull rates. The official database lists ten MA cards in that set, numbered 223 to 232 of 193.
| Number | 카드 | Illustrator |
|---|---|---|
| 223/193 | メガリザードンXex | Saboteri |
The Greninja render follows the same pattern in two printed details: the MA rarity and an illustrator credit from the same four-name group. Pokébeach wrote on August 31, 2026 that Mega Attack Rares were first seen in the Ascended Heroes special set, which was MEGA Dream ex in Japan, and that they feature comic book-style illustrations. Wargamer, on September 6, 2026, called the four new cards “restylised reprints of rare cards from past sets”. The full list is in the Mega Attack Rare complete list.
How to Tell the Prints Apart on a Slab
The five prints share a name, HP and text, so the number, rarity and illustrator credit are the separators. A slab label for a Japanese Ninja Spinner card carries the set and number; the checks use only values printed in the database.
| Check | 022/083 | 098/083 | 114/083 | 120/083 | MA 208/165 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rarity | RR | SR | SAR | MUR | MA |
| Number against printed total | inside 083 | above 083 | above 083 | above 083 | above 165 (different total) |
| Illustrator | takuyoa | takuyoa | Susumu Maeya | takuyoa | Taiga Kasai |
| Database ID | 50106 | 50197 | 50213 | 50219 | none |
| Set | M4 | M4 | M4 | M4 | MEGA x MEGA Parade (reported) |
PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards. Match the number and rarity on the slab to the table before relying on a listing title, and keep the Japanese number format: 114/083 is not the English Chaos Rising 116.
Where to Buy Mega Greninja ex Cards from Tokyo
The 2026 prints are reached through the linked PSA 10 back orders and the sealed box. The M4 Ninja Spinner booster box is currently listed from ¥7,248 (~$47); the SR, SAR and MUR are the PSA 10 back orders in the table of dated asks. The Mega Attack Rare has no listing, and sourcing requests for MEGA x MEGA Parade go through 빠른 주문.
Browse the whole Ninja Spinner set on the M4 card list or open the card list hub. The Fighting-type card from the same reveal is covered in the Mega Zygarde ex Mega Attack Rare 214/165 card guide, and the box comparison is in M3 Nihil Zero vs M4 Ninja Spinner.

자주 묻는 질문
How many Japanese prints of Mega Greninja ex are there?
The official database lists four, all from M4 Ninja Spinner: RR 022/083, SR 098/083, SAR 114/083 and MUR 120/083. A fifth, the Mega Attack Rare 208/165, was shown in the Pokémon Company’s August 31, 2026 video on an under-development render; it has no database row as of October 1, 2026.
When does Mega Greninja ex Mega Attack Rare 208/165 release?
No release date is official. Pokébeach reported on August 25, 2026 that MEGA x MEGA Parade, where it places the card, releases in Japan on Friday, February 19, 2027. The official site had not listed the set as of October 1, 2026, and the video’s caption says cards may differ from the final products.
How much is a PSA 10 Mega Greninja ex?
The SR 098/083 is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥5,037 (~$33), the SAR at ¥25,918 (~$168) and the MUR at ¥95,470 (~$620). SNKRDUNK’s lowest PSA 10 asks were ¥4,500, ¥25,900 and ¥95,000 on the dates in the table. Asks are not sold prices.
Is the Mega Attack Rare a new card?
No. The render prints the same 350 HP, ability and Ninja Spinner attack as the 2026 cards in the official database. What changes is the rarity, MA, and the illustrator credit, Taiga Kasai, who is not credited on any of the four Japanese prints. This follows how the MEGA Dream ex Mega Attack Rares were built.
Is there an English Mega Greninja ex?
Yes, in Chaos Rising, released May 22, 2026: numbers 22, 100, 116 and 122 per Limitless TCG, with the Mega Promos 81 card in the Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection dated July 3, 2026 on pokemon.com. The Mega Attack Rare has no English print as of October 1, 2026.
Which Mega Greninja ex print carries the highest number?
MUR 120/083 is the highest number in Ninja Spinner and the set’s only MUR in the official database. In the official database, the SAR 114/083 is the only Mega Greninja ex row credited to Susumu Maeya. The database ranks nothing beyond its rarity icons, and pull rates are not printed on the official product page.
How many cards are in Ninja Spinner?
The official database lists 120 rows: 83 numbered up to 083 and 37 above it, split into 12 AR, 18 SR, 6 SAR and 1 MUR. The official product page, which gives March 13, 2026, ¥180 and five 팩당 카드, does not print a card count or a packs-per-box figure.
