The Pokemon Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection is the English product built around a Mega Venusaur ex promo, and the official pokemon.com page prints “Launch: December 05, 2025” with an includes list that runs from a foil promo and an oversize lenticular card to a tech sticker and eight booster packs.
Mega Venusaur ex has three official Japanese prints, all in Mega Brave (M1L), released August 1, 2025: 003/063 RR, 076/063 SR and 087/063 SAR. The SAR is credited to mashu. Bulbapedia calls the promo in the English collection alternate artwork to the Regular print, so no Japanese print of the promo’s own image is reported.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. Dollar amounts are rounded at ¥154 per USD, and SNKRDUNK figures are asking prices dated October 2, 2026.
The English collection holds a foil promo, an oversize lenticular promo, a tech sticker and eight booster packs, per the official page. The promo, MEP 13, credits 5ban Graphics and is alternate artwork per Bulbapedia. The Japanese prints are M1L 003 RR, 076 SR and 087 SAR, with no MUR and no promo print. The Japanese Mega Brave box is offered as a Damaged Box at ¥7,593 (~$49) (更新：当前售罄 — 可通过 Quick Order 申请补货).
Collection contents and the launch date are from the official pokemon.com page, the three Japanese prints from the official Pokémon Card Game database, and the credits from Limitless TCG and Bulbapedia.
Dollar figures use ¥154 per USD. Official statements and Limitless TCG or Bulbapedia notes carry their source and status.
What the Premium Collection Includes

The includes line is introduced as “The unbe-leaf-ably awesome Pokémon TCG: Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection includes:”.

The official includes list has no code card. The code card, the etched finish and the pack mix are therefore Bulbapedia’s statements and not the publisher’s.

The collection launched after both the English expansion and the Japanese expansion that holds the Pokémon’s set prints, with the European date reported by Bulbapedia as November 14, 2025.
The two Japanese Mega boxes are compared in the Mega Brave versus Mega Symphonia box guide, and the English Elite Trainer Box and its Japanese sources are in the Mega Evolution Elite Trainer Box comparison.
The Promo Card: MEP 13
Limitless TCG lists the promo as Mega Promos (MEP) card 13, a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 380 HP that evolves from Ivysaur, with a Fire weakness, no resistance and a retreat cost of 4. The credit is 5ban Graphics, and Limitless prints regulation mark I. Bulbapedia’s merchandise page lists the same card as MEP Promo 13 with a Jumbo version.
Bulbapedia’s card page for Mega Venusaur ex (Mega Evolution 3) describes how the promo relates to the rest of the card’s prints. It says the card was a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card and a special illustration rare card in the Mega Evolution expansion, first released in the Japanese Mega Brave expansion, with 5ban Graphics credited on the Regular and Full Art prints and mashu on the special illustration rare print. It adds that the collection’s MEP Black Star Promo is a variant of the Regular card with alternate artwork, issued from November 14, 2025 in Europe and December 5, 2025 in the US.

The Three Official Japanese Prints of Mega Venusaur ex
As of October 2, 2026, the official Pokémon Card Game database lists three cards under the exact name メガフシギバナex, all in Mega Brave. The database lists no promo print, no MUR and no later reprint, and the XY-era card named メガフシギバナEX is a different card.
| Official database number | Rarity icon | Illustrator | Stage and HP |
|---|---|---|---|
| M1L 003/063 | RR | 5ban Graphics | Stage 2, 380 HP, Grass |
| M1L 076/063 | SR | 5ban Graphics | Stage 2, 380 HP, Grass |
| M1L 087/063 | SAR | mashu | Stage 2, 380 HP, Grass |
The three database pages print identical card text. The Ability is ソーラートランス, usable any number of times in a turn, which moves one Basic Grass Energy attached to one of the player’s Pokémon to another of their Pokémon (rendering). The attack is ジャングルダンプ, which costs four Grass Energy, does 240 damage and heals 30 HP from the attacker (rendering). The official English page names the Ability Solar Transfer, matching the Japanese Ability.
The card is a Stage 2 that evolves from Ivysaur, itself from Bulbasaur, with a Fire weakness (×2), no resistance and a retreat cost of 4. Its special rule gives the opponent 3 Prize cards when a Mega Evolution ex is Knocked Out (rendering).
Pairing English and Japanese Prints by Illustrator Credit
As of October 2, 2026, Limitless TCG lists the English set prints as MEG 3 (Double Rare), MEG 155 (Ultra Rare) and MEG 177 (Special Art Rare), credited to 5ban Graphics, 5ban Graphics and mashu. Each carries the same credit as one of the three Mega Brave prints.
| English print (Limitless) | Credit | Japanese print (official database) | Credit match |
|---|---|---|---|
| MEG 3, Double Rare | 5ban Graphics | M1L 003/063 RR | Same illustrator credit |
| MEG 155, Ultra Rare | 5ban Graphics | M1L 076/063 SR | Same illustrator credit |
| MEG 177, Special Art Rare | mashu | M1L 087/063 SAR | Same illustrator credit |
| MEP 13 promo (English collection) | 5ban Graphics | No Japanese print of its artwork reported | Bulbapedia: alternate artwork |
The promo’s 5ban Graphics credit is shared with M1L 003 and M1L 076, yet Bulbapedia describes the promo as alternate artwork to the Regular print. No Japanese print is reported as a match for MEP 13. The English collection is the route to the promo, and Mega Brave is the route to the Japanese set prints.
Limitless’s card pages for MEG 3, MEG 155 and MEG 177 each list Mega Brave 3, 76 and 87 among the card’s Japanese prints, which agrees with the official database numbers.

Choosing Between the Collection and the Japanese Prints
Five points separate the two sides.
- Promo wanted. MEP 13 comes with the English collection, and Bulbapedia reports no Japanese print of that artwork.
- Set print wanted. M1L 003 RR, 076 SR and 087 SAR are the three Japanese prints, paired by credit to MEG 3, 155 and 177.
- Extras wanted. The oversize lenticular card and the tech sticker are on the official includes list; the Japanese box has no extras on its official page.
- Numbering. Japanese rows print /063 even for cards numbered beyond 063, and the promo is MEP 13.
- Dated asks. SNKRDUNK numbers are one-day asking prices, and ¥1,000 marks the display floor of the listing.

常见问题
What is in the Pokemon Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection?
The official page lists one foil promo card and one oversize lenticular promo card, each featuring Mega Venusaur ex, one tech sticker featuring Mega Venusaur and eight Pokémon TCG booster packs. It prints a launch of December 05, 2025 and gives no price and no list of pack expansions.
When did the Mega Venusaur ex Premium Collection release?
The official pokemon.com page prints “Launch: December 05, 2025”. Bulbapedia reports a European release on November 14, 2025. The Japanese Mega Brave (M1L) expansion that holds the card’s set prints released earlier, on August 1, 2025, per the official Japanese page, at ¥180 (~$1) per pack.
What number is the Mega Venusaur ex promo in the Premium Collection?
Limitless TCG lists it as Mega Promos (MEP) card 13, a Stage 2 Grass Pokémon with 380 HP credited to 5ban Graphics. Bulbapedia lists it as MEP Promo 13 and calls it alternate artwork to the Regular Mega Evolution print, so the set prints MEG 3, 155 and 177 are different cards.
Does the Japanese Mega Brave box have the same Mega Venusaur ex?
No Japanese print of the promo’s artwork is reported. Mega Brave holds M1L 003 RR, 076 SR and 087 SAR, which share illustrator credits with MEG 3, 155 and 177. A shared credit is not evidence of a shared image, and Bulbapedia calls the collection’s promo alternate artwork.
How many Japanese prints of Mega Venusaur ex exist?
As of October 2, 2026, the official Pokémon Card Game database lists three cards under the exact name メガフシギバナex, all in Mega Brave: M1L 003/063 RR, 076/063 SR and 087/063 SAR by mashu. The database lists no promo print and no MUR print, and the XY-era Mega Venusaur EX is a separate card.
How much does the Japanese Mega Brave box cost?
The official page prints ¥180 (~$1) per pack, tax included, and does not state a pack count per box. Our Damaged Box, a separate store product, is currently listed at ¥7,593 (~$49) (更新：当前售罄 — 可通过 Quick Order 申请补货). Sealed box: lowest ask on SNKRDUNK, October 2, 2026, ¥7,999 (~$52).
Can the Japanese Mega Venusaur ex SAR be bought as a PSA 10?
The PSA 10 SAR (M1L 087/063) is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥11,722 (~$76), and the card is also listed as a physical PSA 10 slab at ¥11,952 (~$78). The lowest PSA 10 ask on SNKRDUNK, October 2, 2026, was ¥10,800 (~$70). Other prints can be requested through 快速下单.
Does the Premium Collection include a Pokemon TCG Live code card?
The official includes list shows no code card. Bulbapedia’s merchandise page says each collection included a code card for the Pokémon Trading Card Game Live app. The two sources differ, so the code card is reported by Bulbapedia and not confirmed on the official page.
