Franky OP-18: Character Cards Guide

Franky OP18 is Leader card OP18-021 in the One Piece Card Game booster pack OP-18 (OP18) “The Dominance of God,” and the official English pages name two combo cards: OP18-034 Franky and OP18-076 Shark Submerge 3. The Japanese edition releases on November 21, 2026, and the English edition on November 20, 2026.

Updated November 7, 2026

While you wait for Franky, a different set is available now: the OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors Japanese booster box is listed on our shop. It is a separate set from OP-18, and the section on related sets below explains how the two connect on the official pages.

What are the key facts behind Franky OP18?

The key facts are a booster pack with set code OP-18 and Franky as Leader OP18-021. The table below takes every row from the official Bandai product pages, so you can check each line yourself.

The Japanese page words the theme as Water Seven and the God’s Knights, and the English page words it as Water Seven and the Holy Knights of God. Both versions name Water Seven, and Franky’s Leader types name it too. The next sections go through the Franky cards the pages actually name.

Which Franky cards are in OP-18?

Three cards connected to Franky are named on the official pages: Leader OP18-021 Franky, OP18-034 Franky, and OP18-076 Shark Submerge 3. The English pages call OP18-034 and OP18-076 combo cards in the Franky entry.

The wording comes from the English OP-18 product page, and the Asia English page lists the same three numbers. The Japanese page lists OP18-034 Franky and OP18-076 as related Franky cards too. Two of the three cards use the plain name Franky, so the card number is what separates them. OP18-021 is the Leader, and OP18-034 is a separate card with the same character name.

The Japanese page writes the third card as Shark Submarine 3 (シャークサブマージ3号), while both English pages write Shark Submerge 3. The card number on all three pages that mention it is OP18-076.

The Japanese page also lists OP18-079 under its Leader heading as Shark Submarine 3, which conflicts with the other pages. The English pages name OP18-079 as the Leader Spandam. This guide treats OP18-076 as the Shark Submerge 3 card in the Franky entry and OP18-079 as Spandam.

What do the official pages say about Franky Leader OP18-021?

The official pages describe Franky OP18-021 as a Leader with the types Water Seven, The Franky Family and Straw Hat Crew. The Japanese page adds that he is a shipwright who fights alongside his favorite ship, and it calls the card the “long-awaited” Franky Leader.

The three types appear in both languages. The Japanese page writes them as W7, Franky Family and Straw Hat Pirates. The English pages write Water Seven, The Franky Family and Straw Hat Crew. These are the same three labels in two translations, so expect the English edition to say “Straw Hat Crew” where the Japanese edition says “Straw Hat Pirates.”

The English page carries its own headline for the card: “The long-awaited Franky Leader is here!” The Japanese page uses the same “long-awaited” wording. The official pages give the number, the types and this description line for Franky.

Franky’s entry also names two supporting cards by number: the English pages list OP18-034 Franky and OP18-076 Shark Submerge 3 right after the Leader.

Is there a Franky alt art or parallel in OP-18?

No Franky parallel is named on the official OP-18 pages. The special parallel cards they list are Nico Robin OP18-031, Gunko OP18-060 as a Super Leader parallel, Shamrock OP18-119 by Yoshitaka Amano, and Gunko OP18-065 as a God’s Knights 4th anniversary parallel.

The English page gives Nico Robin OP18-031 the Super Alt Art slot and Saint Gunko OP18-060 the Super Leader Alt Art slot. It names OP18-119 Saint Shamrock as the alt art by Yoshitaka Amano, and it lists OP18-065 Saint Gunko and OP17-119 Loki as the 4th Anniversary alt arts. Franky does not appear in any of those lines, so no official page supports buying or selling on the idea of a Franky parallel.

The OP17-119 Loki entry is an OP-17 card number placed in the OP-18 anniversary list. It belongs with the anniversary cards and has no connection to Franky on the pages.

For deeper coverage of those cards, our OP-18 chase cards guide and the OP-18 Secret Rares and Amano alt art article go through them one by one.

How does Franky compare with the other OP-18 Leaders?

Franky is one of six Leaders in OP-18, and the official rarity breakdown counts six Leader cards. The table lists all six with the English names used by the English pages and the Japanese names used by the Japanese page.

The names differ by region. The Japanese page uses Carue, Miss All Sunday and Gunko, while the English pages use Karoo, Ms. All Sunday and Saint Gunko. Franky keeps the same name on both. Our OP-18 Leader cards guide covers the other five in more detail.

The rarity breakdown is the other piece of context. It is the same on the Japanese page and on the Asia English page, and the table below sets it out.

These counts add up to 128, which matches the 127 card types plus 1 additional type. The pages confirm that OP18-021 is a Leader. They do not give a rarity for OP18-034 or OP18-076, so this guide does not assign one.

When does Franky OP18 release in Japan and in English?

Franky OP18 releases with the set: November 21, 2026 in Japan and November 20, 2026 for the English edition. The English page adds that the cards are legal 7 days after release in your region.

The pages add a standard caution: specifications may change and photos may differ from the actual product. The English page also says that illustrations may differ from the final product and that a full set may be hard to assemble because multiples of one card may appear.

The event page says entry for the 4th Anniversary Event goes through TCG+ from November 6, 2026. Our English versus Japanese OP-18 article compares the two editions in detail, and the OP-18 complete guide covers the whole set rather than one character.

Which OP-18 products and events exist besides the booster pack?

The English Double Pack Set Vol.13 [DP-13] also carries OP-18 packs. DP-13 contains two OP-18 booster packs and one DON!! card from 2 new designs, at an MSRP of $11.99 on November 20, 2026.

The official DP-13 page does not mention Franky, so it does not promise any particular card. It lists two packs from the same set plus a DON!! card, and says the packaging can double as a card case. It also says product details may differ from the actual product.

The 4th Anniversary Event page does not mention Franky either. The prizes it lists are these:

In Japan, the release commemoration event runs from November 21 to December 6, 2026 as social gatherings at official shops nationwide, with applications from October 16 to October 25 and winners announced on October 30.

The booster pack itself is priced at 240 yen in Japan and $4.99 in English MSRP, with 6 张/包. The pages give no odds for any card. Our OP-18 pull rates article separates what is official from what is not.

Which names and numbers should you use for Franky OP18?

Use the card numbers, because the name Franky appears on two cards. OP18-021 is the Franky Leader, OP18-034 is the other Franky, and OP18-076 is Shark Submerge 3.

A few practical points follow from the official pages:

• Know which names change. Karoo is Carue, Ms. All Sunday is Miss All Sunday, and Saint Gunko is Gunko on the Japanese page. Shark Submerge 3 is Shark Submarine 3 on the Japanese page. Franky is written Franky on both the Japanese and English pages.
• Know the type names. Straw Hat Crew on the English pages is Straw Hat Pirates on the Japanese page.
• Expect duplicates. The English page states that multiples of one card may appear and a full set may be hard to assemble.
• Check the date for your region. The English page says the cards are legal 7 days after release in your region.

Our EB-05 versus OP-18 article and the OP-18 pre-order guide for Japan explain the Japanese release context for overseas readers. For what comes after this set, read what is officially confirmed about the next set.

What One Piece sets can you buy now while you wait for Franky OP18?

Three other Japanese One Piece booster products are listed on our shop now: OP-17, OP-16 and OP-15. None of them is OP-18, and none contains OP-18 cards. They are other sets you can look at today.

OP-17 shows up on the official OP-18 pages in two places. The English OP-18 page lists OP17-119 Loki among the 4th Anniversary alt arts, and the Japanese page lists OP-17 under related products, along with EB-05, ST-37 and ST-38. If you are weighing the two sets, our OP-18 or OP-17 box comparison goes through the choice.

Our shipping policy and payment methods page state the following terms:

• Standard shipping: FedEx International Connect Plus with a tracking number; FedEx transit time after dispatch is usually 3-7 business days. This is an estimate only.
• Expedited shipping: FedEx International Priority with a tracking number; transit usually 2-5 business days after dispatch, also an estimate only.
• Handling: most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. That window is an estimate only.
• Shipping cost: calculated automatically at checkout from your delivery address, and there is no minimum order amount or quantity.
• Payment: all payments are made in Japanese yen. Wise bank transfer carries no payment processing fee, while PayPal and card payments through PayPal carry a 5% payment processing fee. See the payment methods page and the shipping policy.
• Address: FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, so a physical shipping address is needed at checkout.

After an order is handed to FedEx, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities. The shipping policy says customs inspections, import procedures, weather and carrier events may delay delivery.

What stands out about Franky in the official OP-18 text?

The official text calls OP18-021 the long-awaited Franky Leader, and it names two supporting cards by number. Both points come from the official English and Japanese product pages.

Here is what the pages state, in order of how directly they say it:

• OP18-021 Franky is a Leader, and the set has six Leaders in total.
• The English pages write “The long-awaited Franky Leader is here!” and the Japanese page writes that it is the “long-awaited” Franky Leader.
• The types are Water Seven, The Franky Family and Straw Hat Crew on the English pages.
• The Japanese page describes Franky as a shipwright who fights alongside his favorite ship.
• OP18-034 Franky and OP18-076 Shark Submerge 3 are named as combo cards.

What the pages do not do is name a Franky parallel. Parallels are given to Nico Robin, Saint Gunko, Saint Shamrock and, among the anniversary alt arts, Loki. If you collect Leaders, track OP18-021 by card number. If you collect the headline parallels, the chase pages linked above matter more than Franky’s own entry.

For a full card-by-card look at what has been revealed, see our OP-18 revealed cards list and the earlier OP-18 release date guide.

What should you remember about Franky OP18?

Remember three numbers: OP18-021 for the Franky Leader, OP18-034 for the second Franky and OP18-076 for Shark Submerge 3. Add two dates, November 20 for English and November 21 for Japanese, and you have the official picture of Franky in OP-18.

For related reading, start with the OP-18 complete guide, then the Leader cards guide. If you want a Japanese One Piece box today, the OP-17 booster box is the other set to look at.
