Two Yamato cards share the same code — OP04-112 — and look nothing alike once you see them side by side. One is the standard Super Rare that came out of Kingdoms of Intrigue boosters. The other is a purple, comic-panel-styled parallel stamped “NOT FOR SALE” on the edge, handed out as a tournament memento rather than sold in a pack.
This guide walks through every confirmed Yamato printing — her two Leader cards, her Secret Rare, her tournament souvenir version, and the new OP-17 Yamato — and explains exactly what separates the regular OP04-112 from the version we carry in graded stock. We source Japanese One Piece Card Game product directly out of Tokyo, so every card here ties back to a set we can point to, and where an attribution isn’t officially labeled, we say so.
Yamato has appeared across starter decks, mainline boosters, a Memorial Collection reprint, and a Championship-era promo — a wider spread than most supporting characters get, which is part of why her printings get mixed up. Sorted by set, the picture is straightforward: two Leader cards with different color identities, a run of Character cards at different rarities, and one tournament-only parallel that’s the reason collectors search her name in the first place.
Yamato has at least seven confirmed printings, including two Leader cards (ST09-001 mono-yellow and OP06-022 green-yellow) and a Secret Rare from Romance Dawn (OP01-121). Our graded stock is the PSA10 Yamato SR [OP04-112] Flagship Battle Top 8 Souvenir (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), currently listed at ¥28,839 — a tournament-only parallel of the standard OP04-112, not the booster-pull version.
Card data is drawn from the official OP card list and the LimitlessTCG card database. Where a printing’s tournament or event attribution isn’t officially labeled on the card itself, that attribution is noted as secondary-source. Our stock price is current listed pricing, not a market average.

One correction before going further: OP04-112 isn’t a single card — it’s a code shared by the standard booster printing and a separately distributed tournament parallel with different artwork. That distinction is common enough with Yamato specifically that it gets its own section below.
The sections that follow go through each printing in more detail, starting with the pair that causes the most confusion.
Two Cards, One Code: Standard OP04-112 vs. the Flagship Battle Version
The standard OP04-112 is a Super Rare Character from Kingdoms of Intrigue: Yellow, 9 cost, 9000 power, Strike type, Wano Country affiliation. On play, it can KO up to one opponent character with a cost equal to or below the combined life count of both players, and if your own life is at one card or fewer afterward, you may add the top card of your deck to your life. That’s the version that comes out of OP-04 booster packs.
The parallel we carry in graded stock is a different object entirely, even though it shares the OP04-112 code. Its artwork sits in a purple, comic-panel-style prize frame with “NOT FOR SALE” printed along the side — a visual signature consistent with tournament memento cards rather than pack pulls. Based on that framing and matching descriptions across multiple Japanese card shops, this parallel is understood to be the Top 8 souvenir from the 7th Flagship Battle, held in July 2024. That event’s separate winner prize was a serial-numbered Portgas D. Ace (OP07-119). Note that the official card database doesn’t attach a printed label naming the specific tournament to the parallel image itself, so the event attribution here reflects matching descriptions from multiple secondary sources rather than an official one-line confirmation.
Flagship Battle is a real, ongoing official tournament series — it’s listed on One Piece Card Game’s official events page as a competitive-level format held at authorized retailers, with a standard regulation and its own prize structure. For the full mechanics of how the series runs and how its memento cards are structured across other characters, see our Flagship Battle promo cards guide.
Both versions share the code OP04-112. If your card has a plain framed border with no “NOT FOR SALE” text on the edge, it’s the standard booster pull. If it has the purple prize-style frame with that text on the side, it’s the tournament parallel — the version we currently carry graded PSA10, listed at ¥28,839 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
OP04-112 also comes in a third form — a full-art parallel carrying the “ONE PIECE The Best” logo, distinct from both the booster pull and the tournament version. For more on OP-04’s wider Super Rare and chase-card lineup, see our OP-04 best cards guide.
Yamato’s Two Leader Cards: ST09-001 and OP06-022
ST09-001 is Yamato’s original Leader printing, from the “Side Yamato” starter deck released March 25, 2023. It’s mono-yellow, 5000 power, 5 life, and its ability grants +1000 power during the opponent’s turn whenever Yamato’s own life is at two cards or fewer — a defensive stat boost that rewards playing from behind. No parallel version of this Leader card has been confirmed; the alternate-art slot for this code currently returns a 404 on the official image server.
OP06-022 is the later Leader printing, from OP06 Wings of the Captain. It’s a two-color Green/Yellow Leader, also 5000 power but with 4 life, and it carries Double Attack — a keyword the ST09-001 version doesn’t have. Its ability grants DON!! to a character when the opponent’s life drops to three cards or fewer. A separate special version of this card was released as part of an Anime 25th Collection product.
The two Leaders aren’t reprints of each other — different color identity, different life total, different keyword set — so the practical choice between them usually comes down to deckbuilding: ST09-001 is the fixed mono-yellow defensive build from the starter deck, while OP06-022 is the two-color aggressive build with Double Attack built around a booster-set card pool.
The Secret Rare and Other Prints: OP01-121, EB01-007, P-046
OP01-121 is Yamato’s Secret Rare from Romance Dawn, the game’s original booster set — and the highest official rarity slot she holds. It’s Green, 5 cost, 5000 power, with Double Attack and a Banish effect on activation. Under the game’s rules, this card is also treated as “Kozuki Oden” for card-effect purposes, a reference to the character’s dual identity in the story. Its card frame carries the elaborate secret-rare treatment, distinct from the standard-rarity slots elsewhere in her lineup.
EB01-007 is a Common from EB01 Memorial Collection, a reprint-focused set: Red, 5 cost, 5000 power, granting DON!! on activation. A separate version of this card was also included in a Premium Card Collection Best Selection Vol.4 product. It’s the most accessible printing in the lineup for anyone building out a binder on a budget.
P-046 is a Promo card distributed through Event Pack Vol.3 and the Championship 2024 Event Pack: Purple, 1 cost, 2000 power. Its on-play effect puts your entire hand to the bottom of the deck, then draws the same number of cards — a hand-refresh effect rather than a combat stat. Like most single-set event promos, it circulated through tournament attendance rather than retail packs.
Yamato in OP-17: OP17-074
OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors is officially scheduled for release on August 22, 2026. As of this writing, prerelease card database information confirms a new Yamato printing: OP17-074, a Rare, Purple, 3-cost, 1000-power Character with Blocker and an on-play DON!! acceleration effect — it adds one extra DON!! card to your field in a rested state when played. This information comes from the card database’s prerelease listing rather than the official set’s live product images, since OP-17 hadn’t released yet at the time of research — the official image URL for this code isn’t live and will be confirmed once the set ships.
Pre-orders for OP-17 are open now, with orders shipping on or after August 24, 2026. Whatever the final confirmed card list looks like on release day, OP17-074 would come out of the same sealed box — there’s no separate allocation by character.

常见问题
Are there two different versions of Yamato OP04-112?
Yes. The standard OP04-112 is a Super Rare that comes out of OP-04 Kingdoms of Intrigue booster packs. A separate parallel with different artwork, framed in a tournament prize style with “NOT FOR SALE” printed on the edge, was distributed as a Top 8 souvenir at a Flagship Battle event and isn’t sold in packs.
What is the highest official rarity Yamato card?
OP01-121, a Secret Rare from OP01 Romance Dawn, is Yamato’s highest official card rarity. The Flagship Battle tournament parallel of OP04-112 is separately distributed outside the standard rarity system and isn’t assigned a Secret Rare or higher designation on the official card list.
Does Yamato have a Leader card?
Yes, two: ST09-001, a mono-yellow Leader from the ST-09 Side Yamato starter deck, and OP06-022, a Green/Yellow Leader with Double Attack from OP06 Wings of the Captain. They share a 5000 power stat but differ in life total, color identity, and keywords.
Is Yamato in the OP-17 set?
Yes, based on prerelease card database information: OP17-074, a Rare Purple Character with Blocker and a DON!! acceleration effect. OP-17 The World’s Strongest Warriors releases August 22, 2026, and the official card image for this code wasn’t live at the time of research.
What is a Flagship Battle souvenir card?
Flagship Battle is an official One Piece Card Game tournament series held at authorized retailers under standard regulation. Its prize structure typically includes a newly illustrated parallel for the event winner plus a separate memento card for Top 8 finishers, renewed each event. The specific tournament tied to our OP04-112 parallel is identified through matching descriptions across several secondary sources rather than an official on-card label.
