Lillie’s Clefairy ex (リーリエのピッピex) has six confirmed Japanese prints across three sets, and the one collectors ask about most carries a rarity tag most sets don’t even use: SAR “Style,” numbered 765 against a set that only prints up to 742 on its cards.
The card first appeared as a Double Rare in Battle Partners (SV9) on 24 January 2025, then picked up a Secret Rare and a Special Art Rare in the same set. A fourth print, also a Double Rare, followed in Mega Dream ex (M2a) on 28 November 2025, and two more prints — a plain reprint and the SAR “Style” chase anchor — arrived together in Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC) on 19 December 2025. Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection is a sealed product built around 100 different randomised pre-constructed decks, not an anniversary release — the “100” in its name refers to the deck count, not a milestone.
This guide tables every confirmed print, explains what “765/742” actually means, checks the Japanese numbering against its English-set equivalents, and places the card on Japan’s chase-rarity ladder — using only our own listing history, no third-party market data.
Lillie’s Clefairy ex has six confirmed Japanese prints across three sets, topped by the Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC) 765/742 SAR “Style.” That anchor print is not currently listed on our site; sourcing requests are handled through 快速下单. The live entry point right now is our PSA 10 115/100 Secret Rare, currently listed at ¥12,584 (~$79).
Prices below are our own listed and last-listed prices as of 3 September 2026, converted at ¥159/USD. No third-party market prices appear in this guide.
The Card: Lillie’s Clefairy ex MC 765/742 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) SAR
The anchor print for this guide is MC 765/742, from Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection. It’s a 190 HP Psychic-type ex, illustrated by Naoki Saito. Limitless catalogues it as a Special Art Rare; our own listing adds the qualifier “Style” to keep it distinct from the earlier SV9 126/100 SAR of the same card, since both share the Special Art Rare classification but come from different sets a year apart.

Its number, 765, sits well above the 742 printed on the card itself. That isn’t a printing error — it’s the same past-denominator convention used across other Japanese sets, where the on-card number reflects the set’s nominal base-card count and the highest-tier secret/chase cards are numbered above it. The set’s full Limitless card-gallery total is 774, so 765/742 is comfortably inside the true print run, just outside the number stamped on the base cards.
This print is not currently listed in our own catalogue; sourcing requests go through 快速下单.
Every Lillie’s Clefairy ex Print, Oldest to Newest
Before the MC 765/742 SAR existed, Lillie’s Clefairy ex had already been printed three times in a single set — Battle Partners (SV9), released 24 January 2025 — at three different rarity tiers, then reprinted again in Mega Dream ex (M2a) before Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC) added two more prints of its own.
SV9 033/100, Double Rare (RR)

The base ex print, illustrated by 5ban Graphics like the Secret Rare below it. This is the version most collectors meet first when opening Battle Partners packs.
SV9 115/100, Secret Rare

Also 5ban Graphics artwork, numbered past SV9’s own nominal 100-card denominator — the same numbering convention that puts the MC anchor at 765/742. This print has a live PSA 10 listing at ¥12,584 (~$79).
SV9 126/100, Special Art Rare (SAR)

Illustrated by Susumu Maeya rather than 5ban Graphics, this is SV9’s own full alternate-art tier. We don’t currently hold a live PSA 10 of this print; check 快速下单 if you’re after one.
M2a 060/193, Double Rare (RR)

A fourth print, again illustrated by 5ban Graphics and again a Double Rare, arrived in Mega Dream ex (M2a), released 28 November 2025 — a straight reprint at the same rarity tier as the SV9 033/100 base card rather than a new chase version.
MC 287/742

The fifth print, also by 5ban Graphics, released alongside the SAR “Style” anchor on 19 December 2025. Limitless does not publish a separate rarity tier for this deck-exclusive print — it’s the plain version packed into the randomised starter decks, distinct from the MC 765/742 chase print below.
A related card worth ruling out: Clefairy 381/SM-P (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), a plain (non-ex) Clefairy from the Sun & Moon Promotional Cards series, illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma, whose ability text references “Lillie’s Clefairy Doll.” It shares the Lillie/Clefairy pairing thematically but is a separate, non-ex card — not a Lillie’s Clefairy ex print.

Six prints, three sets, confirmed via Limitless TCG’s own print-history record for this card. No further Japanese print is listed there beyond these six as of this guide’s writing.
Our own hub article, the Japanese Clefairy chase-card comparison, ranks the 115/100, 126/100, MC 765/742 and SM-P 381 prints against each other with our own pricing and its own FAQ. This guide goes further — it’s the only place that also covers the SV9 033/100 RR base print, the M2a 060/193 and MC 287/742 reprints, and the English-set equivalents below, all of which the hub omits.
The Set: Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC)
Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (スターターデッキ100 バトルコレクション), set code MC, released in Japan on 19 December 2025. Despite the name, it isn’t a milestone-anniversary release: it’s a sealed product built around 100 different randomised pre-constructed decks, each guaranteed at least two ex cards, with the “100” referring to that deck count rather than a numbered anniversary.
The Limitless card-gallery total for MC is 774 cards. The number printed on individual cards, such as the 742 on our anchor, is the set’s nominal base-card count — not its true full print run. Cards numbered above that nominal count, like 765/742, are the secret and chase-tier prints, the same convention used across other Japanese sets covered on this site.
For a general walkthrough of the sealed product itself, see our Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection guide, and our regular vs White Box comparison if you’re deciding which sealed version to open.
Where This Print Sits on Japan’s Chase-Rarity Ladder
Using only the rarity tiers confirmed for this card, the ladder runs Double Rare (RR) → Secret Rare → Special Art Rare (SAR) → the MC 765/742 SAR “Style.” The two later reprints — M2a 060/193 (RR) and MC 287/742 (no separate published tier) — sit at or below the original Double Rare tier rather than adding a new step; the MC 765/742 SAR “Style” anchor sits above SV9’s own SAR by virtue of its own numbering above the set’s nominal denominator and the “Style” qualifier our own listings use to keep it distinct.
Our own listing history reflects that ordering without needing a third-party price source: the SV9 115/100 Secret Rare is currently listed at ¥12,584 (~$79), while the MC 765/742 SAR anchor is not currently listed — consistent with it sitting at the top of this card’s own rarity run rather than being just another Special Art Rare repeat.
We haven’t listed a PSA 10 of the SV9 126/100 SAR recently, so it can’t be placed on this price ladder with confidence — if you’re after one, 快速下单 is the way to ask.

常见问题
What is Lillie’s Clefairy ex 765/742 SAR from?
It’s from Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC), a Japanese sealed product built around 100 randomised pre-constructed decks, dated 19 December 2025. Our own listing tags it SAR “Style” to distinguish it from the earlier SV9 126/100 Special Art Rare of the same card.
How many Japanese prints of Lillie’s Clefairy ex exist?
Six confirmed prints across three sets: SV9 033/100 (Double Rare), SV9 115/100 (Secret Rare), SV9 126/100 (Special Art Rare), M2a 060/193 (Double Rare), MC 287/742 (no separate published tier), and MC 765/742 (SAR “Style”).
Is the SM-P 381 Clefairy promo the same card as Lillie’s Clefairy ex?
No. Clefairy 381/SM-P is a plain, non-ex Clefairy from the Sun & Moon Promotional Cards series. Its ability references “Lillie’s Clefairy Doll,” which links it thematically, but it is not a Lillie’s Clefairy ex print.
Is there an English print of Lillie’s Clefairy ex?
Four of the six Japanese prints have English equivalents: Journey Together #056/159 (matching SV9 033/100), #173/159 (matching SV9 115/100) and #184/159 (matching SV9 126/100), plus Ascended Heroes #076/217 (matching M2a 060/193) and #280/217 (matching the MC 765/742 SAR “Style” anchor). Only the plain MC 287/742 print has no confirmed English-set match.
What does “765/742” mean if the set only has 742 cards?
742 is the nominal base-card count printed on the cards themselves, not the set’s true print run. Secret and chase-tier cards are numbered above that count — the Limitless card-gallery total for MC is 774, so 765/742 sits comfortably inside the actual print run.
