Every week someone emails us about a PSA 10 card that is not on our shelf. Quick Order now has an answer to that email: a second graded-card tab where you can order the card anyway, and our buyers in Tokyo go out onto the Japanese market and find it for you.
This guide is the whole mechanism, in order: what you are actually buying, how the price is fixed, why a back order starts at ¥100,000 and what that means in practice, what reaches you at each stage, and exactly what happens if the card never turns up.

- A back order is an order for a PSA 10 card we do not stock. You pay in full, and we source it in Japan.
- If it is not on our shelf, we go and find it. Name the PSA 10 you are looking for and our buyers source it on the Japanese market.
- Minimum ¥100,000 per back order, counted on the back order cart before discounts and points.
- Free shipping on every back order, to every country we ship to. There is no code to enter and no minimum to reach for it.
- A back order usually ships within 14 days of your payment clearing.
- If we have not sourced it in 14 days, you choose: another 14 days, or a refund. You can extend as many times as you like.
- Bulk discounts and points apply. Discount codes cannot be used.
What a PSA 10 back order is
A back order is an order for a card we do not have. You choose PSA 10 cards in the Back order tab of Quick Order, pay for them in full, and our buyers in Japan go out and source those exact cards for you. When a card reaches our Tokyo store we check it, pack it and ship it. It usually ships within 14 days.
What you are buying is a specific graded card, not a promise to look. Every listing in the tab is a single PSA 10 slab with its own certification — the same thing we sell off the shelf, sourced to order. If you have read our guide to spotting fake Japanese Pokemon cards, this is the shortcut: a sealed PSA holder has already answered the authenticity question before we ever touch it.
This is different from the PSA 10 tab, which lists graded cards already sitting in our store. Those ship right away. The Back order tab exists for everything else: the cards people keep asking us for, that we have to go and find.
Nothing about the rest of the order changes. Payment, packing, tracked and insured shipping from Tokyo, and our refund policy all work the way they do on any other order.
Which cards you can back order
On 9 September 2026 the Back order tab held 2,239 PSA 10 cards — 2,030 Pokemon and 209 One Piece. They are graded singles only: PSA 10, one card per listing, no sealed product and no other grades. Pokemon is by far the larger half of the list, so if you collect One Piece the tab is worth a scroll rather than a search — and our OP-17 booster box and case buying guide covers what the One Piece side of the shop looks like when it is sealed instead of graded.
The list runs from everyday chase cards up to the pieces that usually only appear at auction — several of the cards in our round-up of the most valuable Japanese Pokemon cards can be back ordered on any ordinary Tuesday.
Cards move in and out of the tab. A card comes off the list when the Japanese market for it goes quiet, when its price is swinging too hard for us to quote honestly, or when we have no live price for it — and it comes back when the market settles. So the tab you see today is the set of cards we are genuinely confident we can go and buy. It is re-checked regularly, and the count above moves with it.

How the price is set
Back order prices follow the Japanese market rate and may change. When you place the order, the price is fixed at the figure you saw. If the Japanese market rises while we are sourcing your card, that is our problem, not yours — you are never asked for more money after you have paid.
The same works in reverse: a back order is priced at the moment you order it, so a card whose market drifts down afterwards is not repriced either. One price, agreed once.
This is also why you will not find a price list in this article. A figure written here would be wrong within days, and a wrong figure is worse than none. Everything in the tab shows what it costs right now, and the cart adds it up as you go. What a back order costs
- Minimum ¥100,000. A back order needs a subtotal of ¥100,000 or more in the back order cart. The minimum is judged before bulk discounts and before any points you spend, and the cart tells you how much more you need.
- Shipping is free. There is no shipping method to choose and no shipping line to pay, wherever we are shipping to. This is not a threshold you unlock — it applies to every back order.
- Bulk discounts apply — 0.2% from ¥200,000 and 0.5% from ¥500,000, applied automatically to the back order cart.
- Points apply both ways: you earn points on a back order, and you can spend points on one.

The ¥100,000 is per order, not per card. It is the subtotal of the back order cart, so a back order can be a single card or several together, and the cart tells you where you stand as you add them. We have deliberately not printed prices here, because they follow the Japanese market rate and may change. What each card costs today is on the card itself in the Back order tab, and the cart totals it for you as you add them.
Back Order
2,239 PSA 10 cards you can order today
Back orders use their own cart, kept separate from your normal one. Opening the Back order tab opens that cart; leaving the tab puts your normal cart back. Nothing you had in either one is lost, and the two never mix into a single order — which also means you cannot top a back order up to ¥100,000 with sealed product.
Import duty and tax in your own country are separate, as on any order — our shipping policy covers how that works.
What happens after you pay
- Payment clears. A back order is paid in full up front, and every one of our usual payment methods works. If you pay by bank transfer we take your refund details at checkout, so any refund has somewhere to go.
- We start sourcing. Your cards go onto our buying list in Japan, and you get an email confirming that sourcing has started.
- Each card is secured. As soon as a card is in our hands we set it aside in your name and email you. On a four-card back order that is four separate pieces of good news, not one long silence.
- It ships. Once your cards are ready they leave Tokyo tracked and insured, like every other order, and you can follow it from 查询您的订单.
If we secure part of your order first, we send you what we have rather than sitting on it. Shipping is free on that parcel too, and on anything that follows it.
If we cannot find the card
Fourteen days after your payment clears, if a card is still not sourced, we email you and you choose: give us another 14 days, or take a refund for that card. You can extend as many times as you like.
Three things are worth saying plainly about that moment. There is no rush to answer — while you have not chosen, we keep looking and we keep you posted, and we only stop when you tell us to. Nothing is cancelled out from under you, so a card you still want does not quietly disappear because a fortnight passed. And anything we cannot source is refunded in full, back the way you paid, with the rest of the order unaffected.
That is the deal on a back order: you take on the wait, and we take on the risk of not finding it.
Following your back order
Every stage of a back order reaches you by email: sourcing started, each card secured, the 14-day decision point, dispatch. You do not need an account to place a back order or to follow one — you can order as a guest exactly as you would anywhere else on the site.
If you do have an account, back orders live in their own place inside it, under PSA 代寻订单, separate from your normal order list. That page shows each order’s progress, the next deadline, how many times it has been extended, and how many copies of each card we have secured so far.

Can I back order a card that costs less than ¥100,000?
Yes. The ¥100,000 minimum applies to the whole back order cart, not to each card, so a back order can be one card or several together. The cart shows you how much more you need as you add cards.
What is the minimum for a PSA 10 back order?
¥100,000. That is the subtotal of the back order cart, counted before bulk discounts and before any points you spend. If you are under it, the cart shows you the amount still needed and checkout stays closed until you clear it.
How much is shipping on a back order?
Nothing. Shipping is free on every back order, to every country we ship to. It is not a reward for spending more, and there is no code to enter. Import duty and tax in your own country are separate and remain yours, as on any order.
How long does a back order take?
It usually ships within 14 days of your payment clearing. Some cards turn up in a couple of days and some take longer, which is why the 14-day mark is a decision point rather than an end point: if your card is not sourced by then, we ask you what you want to do.
What if you cannot source my card?
You get a full refund for it. If only part of your order could be sourced, we ship the cards we secured and refund the rest in full. Refunds go back the way you paid; if you paid by bank transfer we take your refund details at checkout so the money has somewhere to go.
Can I cancel or change a back order?
Not once it is placed and paid — we start spending money on your behalf immediately, so a paid back order is final. While an order is still awaiting payment you can still cancel it yourself, from the order page linked in your confirmation email or, if you have an account, from the PSA back orders section of it.
