What the Official English Pages Print

The pokemon.com set page gives a release date of November 3, 2023 and “Over 180 cards”. Its bullets read “New Ancient and Future Pokémon”, “Type-shifted Tera Pokémon ex with a crystalline appearance, including a Water-type Garchomp ex”, “More than 15 brand-new Pokémon ex”, “More than 20 Trainer cards” and “Dozens of Pokémon and Trainer cards with special illustrations”. On the official card database the last main-set card prints as 182/182, and Crustle prints as 183/182, the first card outside the main set.

The tcg.pokemon.com expansion page lists seven products. Two of them, the Elite Trainer Box and the Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box, have contents lists on the official product-gallery pages; the rest are listed by name.

How the English Set Maps to Three Japanese Sets

No official source states that English Paradox Rift equals any Japanese set. At set level, Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (snapshot September 15, 2026) gives SV4 Ancient Roar / Future Flash as “⅔ of Paradox Rift” and SV3a Raging Surf (released September 22, 2023, 62 cards in the main set) as “⅓ of Paradox Rift”. At card level, Limitless TCG lists the Japanese prints on each English card page, and the matches below keep only prints in SV4K, SV4M or SV3a with the corresponding rarity and the same illustrator.

Limitless calls the English Special Illustration Rare a “Special Art Rare”, and the pokemon-card.com icon on the Japanese prints is SAR. Limitless lists the English Ultra Rare cards against Japanese Secret Rare (SR) prints and the English gold Secret Rare cards against Japanese Ultra Rare (UR) prints. The English set has these rarity counts (Limitless labels):

The four rare tiers at the bottom are the ones Limitless matched to Japan: 84 English cards, 84 matches, 0 illustrator mismatches. The split across the three Japanese sets is below.

SV3a therefore holds the largest share of the rare tier, 30 cards, even though it is a separate Japanese product. Limitless’s matches place the fifteen SIRs across all three sets, five in each. Raging Surf is sold as its own box: the SV3a Raging Surf booster box Sealed option is currently listed at ¥13,528 (~$88) and the No Shrink option at ¥12,528 (~$81); its listing page is the SV3a Raging Surf card list.

Illustration Rares, Ultra Rares and Gold Cards

Below the fifteen SIRs, the English set carries 34 Illustration Rares, 28 Ultra Rares and 7 gold cards. Here is a selection of matched cards that we list as PSA 10 back orders or PSA 10 singles. English rarity is the Limitless label; Japanese rarity is the Limitless label for the Japanese print.

Note the SV3a rows: Limitless matches Groudon, Parasol Lady, Rika, Shauntal and the gold Garchomp ex to SV3a Raging Surf prints, not to SV4K or SV4M prints. The Raging Surf box is the SV3a Raging Surf booster box.

Our two boxes are variable products, so each price is tied to a named option. The SNKRDUNK figures are the lowest asking prices on the marketplace’s main box listing and on its separate shrink-less listing for the same set, dated September 30, 2026. Asking prices are not sales, and the columns describe different listings.

The Damaged Box listings are separate products from the boxes above. The SV4K Damaged Box is ¥9,937 (~$65) and its Grade B version is ¥9,724 (~$63); the SV4M Damaged Box is ¥9,541 (~$62) and its Grade B version is ¥9,349 (~$61).

The official English pages print no Booster Box price.
