MEGA x MEGA Parade English Release: What Past Pokemon High Class Packs Became

MEGA x MEGA Parade English Release: What Past Pokemon High Class Packs Became

Has an English version of MEGA x MEGA Parade been announced? No. As of October 1, 2026 the Pokémon Company has not named an English set for Japan’s reported February 19, 2027 high class pack, has not published a product page for the Japanese set itself, and has shown only four of its cards. What exists instead is a four-year record of what each Japanese high class pack became in English, and that record is specific enough to be worth laying out, as long as it is read as history rather than a schedule.

Per Bulbapedia’s set pages, VSTAR Universe became Crown Zenith, Shiny Treasure ex became Paldean Fates, Terastal Festival ex became Prismatic Evolutions and MEGA Dream ex became Ascended Heroes, each between 42 and 63 days after the Japanese release. Press outlets have offered guesses for a Parade counterpart; those guesses are quoted in the speculation table with their source and labelled as speculation, and none of them is ours.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. Prices use ¥154/USD, verified October 1, 2026; the previous high class pack, MEGA Dream ex, is currently listed, and sourcing requests for the Parade set go through Schnellbestellung.

Key Takeaways

No English release of MEGA x MEGA Parade has been announced. Record per Bulbapedia: the last four Japanese high class packs reached English as special sets 42–63 days later. The four Parade cards shown so far already have English prints of their 2026 versions in Chaos Rising, Perfect Order and Pitch Black. The M2A MEGA Dream ex booster box — the pack behind Ascended Heroes — is currently listed at ¥12,936 (~$84) in its No Shrink option.

The Pokémon Company announces English sets on its own schedule. Nothing comparable has happened for Parade; when it does, the update log records it with the date.

What Each Japanese High Class Pack Became in English

Bulbapedia’s set pages state the relation for each pair in a sentence, and the infobox dates on the same pages give the gap. The sentences are quoted as they appear on October 1, 2026.

Japanese high class pack (JP release) English special set (EN release) Gap Bulbapedia’s sentence
VSTAR Universe (December 2, 2022) Crown Zenith (January 20, 2023) 49 days „Crown Zenith consists of cards from the Japanese VSTAR Universe expansion, cards from VSTAR Special Set and cards from the Paradigm Trigger expansion and Incandescent Arcana subset that were not localized in Silver Tempest.“
Shiny Treasure ex (December 1, 2023) Paldean Fates (January 26, 2024) 56 days „The Paldean Fates expansion comprises cards from the Japanese Shiny Treasure ex subset, as well as any remaining cards from Raging Surf, Terastal Starter Sets, Ancient Roar, and Future Flash that were not localized in Paradox Rift.“
Terastal Festival ex (December 6, 2024) Prismatic Evolutions (January 17, 2025) 42 days „Prismatic Evolutions contains mostly cards from the Japanese Terastal Fest ex subset and Generations Start Decks…“
MEGA Dream ex (November 28, 2025) Ascended Heroes (January 30, 2026) 63 days „Ascended Heroes includes cards from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset and the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.“
MEGA x MEGA Parade (reported February 19, 2027) — — Not confirmed

Two features of the record carry over regardless of the set name. First, the English set is never a one-to-one translation: each sentence above names cards from other Japanese products folded in. Second, the rarity introduced by the Japanese pack reaches English in the special set: Bulbapedia notes that „The Mega attack rare rarity is a new type of card rarity introduced in the Ascended Heroes expansion, originally released in the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset.“ The four Parade cards shown are Mega Attack Rares, so the rarity itself already exists in English.

What the Press Has Guessed, Labelled

Three outlets have put a window on the English release. None cites an official source for it, and each is quoted with its date so the guess is not mistaken for a report.

Outlet (date) Statement Basis stated Status
Wargamer (August 26, 2026) an English equivalent „likely… worldwide some time in March“ — Speculation
TechTimes (August 27, 2026) „late spring or summer 2027“ — Speculation
Pokéos (August 31, 2026) „The overseas release date is unknown… likely in March or April“ Past pattern Speculation

All three are guesses, and none is on an official page. The reported Japanese date is itself from Pokébeach and not yet on an official page, so an English window built on it stacks one reported figure on another. The MEGA x MEGA Parade hub keeps the Japanese date’s status current.

Japanese Pack vs English Special Set: Not the Same Product

Even after an English set exists, the two products differ in format, and the difference is why the Japanese pack keeps an audience abroad. The official Japanese pages print a ¥550 pack of ten cards sold in boxes; Bulbapedia records that Crown Zenith and Paldean Fates packs „cannot be purchased separately“ in English, reaching players inside set-related products. The English set also folds in cards from other Japanese products, so its card count and numbering differ from the Japanese pack’s.

The Mega Attack Rare versions themselves have no English print yet, in the same way the ten MEGA Dream ex MA cards had none until Ascended Heroes. Our Mega Attack Rare guide covers the four cards in detail.

Why Collectors Buy the Japanese Pack

The reasons are in the record rather than in any claim about value. The Japanese pack arrives first, by six to nine weeks in every case since 2022. It is sold as a ¥550 ten-card pack in a box, where the English equivalents of 2023 and 2024 could not be bought as loose packs. Its secret block is the one the rarity was designed for, numbered and listed in the official database on release day. And the cards carry the same illustrator credit on both sides of the pairing, so a collector who wants that artist’s print has it earlier in Japanese.

For MEGA x MEGA Parade specifically, all of that is still prospective: the Japanese pack has a reported date and four shown cards, and the English set has nothing. What a collector can do now is buy the previous Japanese high class pack, which is the direct precedent, or lodge a sourcing request for the Parade set through Quick Order without a price or an allocation on either side. The high class pack history covers the five released packs, and the pre-order guide explains the request route.

Häufig gestellte Fragen

When does MEGA x MEGA Parade release in English?

No English release has been announced as of October 1, 2026. The Japanese set itself is reported for Friday, February 19, 2027 by Pokébeach and has no official product page yet. Press guesses of March, March–April and late spring or summer 2027 are speculation, and we do not give a date of our own.

What will the English version of MEGA x MEGA Parade be called?

Not confirmed. The previous Japanese high class packs became Crown Zenith, Paldean Fates, Prismatic Evolutions and Ascended Heroes per Bulbapedia, each with its own name rather than a translation of the Japanese one, so the English name for the Parade cards is unknown until the Pokémon Company announces a set.

How long after Japan do the English high class sets release?

Between 42 and 63 days for the last four pairs per Bulbapedia’s infobox dates: Crown Zenith 49 days after VSTAR Universe, Paldean Fates 56 days after Shiny Treasure ex, Prismatic Evolutions 42 days after Terastal Festival ex and Ascended Heroes 63 days after MEGA Dream ex.

Are the four revealed Parade cards available in English already?

Their 2026 Japanese prints have English counterparts for three of the four: Mega Greninja ex in Chaos Rising, Mega Zygarde ex in Perfect Order and Mega Darkrai ex in Pitch Black, paired by illustrator credit on Limitless. Mega Rayquaza ex has no English print listed as of October 1, 2026, and the Mega Attack Rare versions have none.

Is the Japanese high class pack the same product as the English special set?

No. The Japanese pack is a ¥550 ten-card pack sold in booster boxes; Bulbapedia records that Crown Zenith and Paldean Fates packs could not be purchased separately in English, and each English set adds cards from other Japanese products, so counts and numbering differ.

Does the Mega Attack Rare rarity exist in English?

Yes. Bulbapedia states that the Mega attack rare rarity was introduced in English in Ascended Heroes, released January 30, 2026, after its Japanese debut in MEGA Dream ex. The four Mega Attack Rares shown for MEGA x MEGA Parade have no English print as of October 1, 2026.
