Mega Zygarde ex has four Japanese prints in the official card database, 046/080 to 117/080, and on August 31, 2026 the Pokémon Company showed a fifth: a Mega Attack Rare numbered 214/165 on an under-development render. As of October 1, 2026 the card is official, having appeared in the company’s YouTube video after the World Championships, while the set Pokébeach places it in, MEGA x MEGA Parade, has no official page.
The 214/165 render prints the same HP and attacks as the Nihil Zero card and a new illustrator credit, 5ban Graphics. The database rows of the card’s source expansion, the English Perfect Order prints, the official pages of the earlier high class packs and dated asking prices complete the record; the video’s caption says the cards shown „may differ from the final products“.
We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate; SNKRDUNK figures are lowest asking prices on the dates given, never sales.
The Mega Attack Rare 214/165 is a Basic Fighting Pokémon with 310 HP, as printed on the render, and its two attacks match the four 2026 Japanese prints: RR 046/080, SR 097/080, SAR 113/080 and MUR 117/080. The source box, M3 Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero), is currently listed from ¥8,375 (~$54) in its No Shrink option.
The database rows, the English prints and the asking prices are as of October 1, 2026. The next update follows an official product page for MEGA x MEGA Parade or a further card reveal.
What the August 31 Video Showed
The Pokémon Company’s channels published the ex★ video on August 31, 2026, in Japanese as 「【公式】ポケモンカードゲーム「ex★」」 and in English as „NEW ex★ Series & Mega Lucario Z ex Reveal | PokémonXP and Pokémon Worlds 2026“. pokemon.com’s recap of the closing ceremonies lists „Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Rayquaza ex“ as the Mega attack rare sneak peeks and carries the footnote that the cards shown are under development.
The set placement is a report, not an announcement. Pokébeach wrote on August 31, 2026 that Pokémon „teased Mega Attack Rares from what is presumably February’s MEGA x MEGA Parade“, and on August 25, 2026 that the Japanese high class pack releases on Friday, February 19, 2027 at ¥550 for ten cards. The official site had not listed the product as of October 1, 2026.

Set-level facts are in the MEGA x MEGA Parade release date, price and card list hub; the card list tracker keeps the running status, and the four Mega Attack Rares explained sets the Zygarde card beside the other three.
The Card Text as Printed on the Render
The render prints a Basic Fighting Pokémon (たね) with 310 HP, tagged 「ジガルデがメガシンカしたすがた」, under the gold Mega Evolution ex rule: a Knocked Out Mega Evolution ex gives the opponent three Prize cards. It carries no ability, and the words MUNIKISU ZERO are set in oversized lettering across the artwork. Attack names stay in Japanese in the table; the effects are renderings of the printed text.
| Element | As printed on the render (rendering) | Nihil Zero database rows |
|---|---|---|
| Attack: ガイアウェーブ | Three Fighting Energy, 200 damage. During your opponent’s next turn, damage done to this Pokémon by attacks is reduced by 30. | Same attack and cost on all four rows |
| Attack: ムニキスゼロ | Five Fighting Energy. Flip a coin for each of your opponent’s Pokémon; for each heads, 150 damage to that Pokémon. Weakness and resistance are not applied to Benched Pokémon. | Same attack and cost on all four rows |
| Weakness / resistance | Grass ×2 / none | Grass ×2 / none |
| Retreat cost | Two Colorless | Two |
| Illustrator | 5ban Graphics | takuyoa (three rows), kantaro (one row) |
The second attack’s name is also the name of the source expansion: the official product page title is ムニキスゼロ, and the database prints ムニキスゼロ as the attack on all four Japanese cards. The render’s oversized lettering spells that name out. HP, stage and both attacks match the database rows, so the Mega Attack Rare is a re-illustrated version of the 2026 card; Wargamer, on September 6, 2026, called the four new cards „restylised reprints of rare cards from past sets“.
Every Japanese Print: The Four Nihil Zero Rows
Searching the official card database for the exact name メガジガルデex returns four rows, all from M3 ムニキスゼロ and all printing a denominator of 080. RR is Double Rare, SR is Super Rare, SAR is Special Art Rare and MUR is the icon on the set’s highest-numbered card.
| Database ID | Number | Rarity | Illustrator | Our listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 49679 | 046/080 | RR | takuyoa | Not listed |
| 50064 | 097/080 | SR | takuyoa | Not listed |
| 50080 | 113/080 | SAR | kantaro | ¥6,373 (~$41), PSA 10 back order |
| 50084 | 117/080 | MUR | takuyoa | ¥38,454 (~$250), PSA 10 back order |
| — | 214/165 (render) | MA | 5ban Graphics | Not listed |
M3 046/080 RR — takuyoa

The Double Rare is the base print and the only one of the four numbered inside 080. It prints the same 310 HP and both attacks as the other three, so the number, the rarity icon and the artwork are what separate it.
M3 097/080 SR — takuyoa

The Super Rare is the first Zygarde print numbered above 080 and carries the same takuyoa credit as the RR. The RR and SR have no listing from us.
M3 113/080 SAR — kantaro

The Special Art Rare is credited to kantaro in the database, the one row of the four not credited to takuyoa. Its PSA 10 back order is priced below the MUR’s.
M3 117/080 MUR — takuyoa

The MUR is numbered 117, which matches the 117 cards Limitless TCG lists for Nihil Zero, so it is the last number of the set. For the Pokémon’s other eras, see Zygarde cards: every Japanese printing, and for this print’s own story, Mega Zygarde ex MUR 117/080.
Illustrator Credits Across the Prints
The credit is the printed field that separates the render from every 2026 row. The database credits takuyoa on three Nihil Zero prints and kantaro on one; the render credits 5ban Graphics; and none of the four database rows carries a 5ban Graphics credit.
| Illustrator | Source | |
|---|---|---|
| M3 046/080 RR, 097/080 SR, 117/080 MUR | takuyoa | Official database |
| M3 113/080 SAR | kantaro | Official database |
| MA 214/165 | 5ban Graphics | As printed on the render |
| Perfect Order 47, 104, 124 (English) | takuyoa | Limitless TCG |
| Perfect Order 120 (English) | kantaro | Limitless TCG |
| Mega Promos 71 (English) | takuyoa | Limitless TCG |
5ban Graphics is credited on one of the ten MA cards of MEGA Dream ex in the official database, 228/193 メガルカリオex, so the credit on the Zygarde render is not new to the rarity. No source gives a reason for the assignment, and no database row yet exists for 214/165.
The English Prints: Perfect Order
The official pokemon.com page lists Perfect Order with a release date of March 27, 2026 and over 120 cards, and Limitless TCG lists 124. Bulbapedia’s set pairing, in a snapshot of September 15, 2026, matches M3 ムニキスゼロ to Perfect Order. Limitless lists the four Nihil Zero prints under each English Mega Zygarde ex; pairing them by illustrator credit works for the SAR, and the three takuyoa prints follow rarity order, as in our other Nihil Zero posts.
| English print | Limitless rarity label | Illustrator | Japanese print with the same credit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Perfect Order 47 | Double Rare | takuyoa | M3 046/080 RR |
| Perfect Order 104 | Ultra Rare | takuyoa | M3 097/080 SR |
| Perfect Order 120 | Special Art Rare | kantaro | M3 113/080 SAR |
| Perfect Order 124 | Secret Rare | takuyoa | M3 117/080 MUR |
| Mega Promos (MEP) 71 | no rarity label | takuyoa | Japanese counterpart not confirmed |
All five English prints carry regulation mark J on Limitless. pokemon.com’s product gallery lists a Mega Zygarde ex Premium Collection, and Limitless lists Mega Promos 71 for the card, credited to takuyoa; which product carries that promo, and whether it has a Japanese counterpart, is not confirmed. The Perfect Order booster display is described on pokemon.com as 36 packs of 10 cards each, with one Basic Energy and one code card per pack.
No English print of the Mega Attack Rare 214/165 exists, and an English counterpart of MEGA x MEGA Parade is not confirmed. For the English set, see the Perfect Order card list and chase cards.
Our PSA 10 Back Orders and the Dated Asks
The SAR and MUR are offered as PSA 10 back orders — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The RR and SR have no listing. The route is explained on PSA 10 Nachbestellungen.
| Our PSA 10 back order | SNKRDUNK raw lowest ask | SNKRDUNK PSA 10 lowest ask (listings) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| 046/080 RR | Not listed | No dated figure | No dated figure |
| 097/080 SR | Not listed | No dated figure | No dated figure |
| 113/080 SAR | ¥6,373 (~$41) | ¥2,499 | ¥6,199 (21) |
| 117/080 MUR | ¥38,454 (~$250) | ¥13,900 | ¥40,000 (10) |

On the dated asks, the MUR’s PSA 10 lowest ask of ¥40,000 sits at about six times the SAR’s ¥6,199, and its raw lowest ask of ¥13,900 at about five and a half times the SAR’s ¥2,499. The Mega Attack Rare has no market history, because no copy has been printed, and no figure for it appears in the table. Every number is an asking price on October 1, 2026.
The Source Set: M3 Nihil Zero
The official product page for M3 ムニキスゼロ, a MEGA expansion pack, lists release on Friday, January 23, 2026, a price of ¥180 including tax and five Karten pro Pack. It prints no packs-per-box figure and no card count; Limitless TCG lists 117 cards. The name in our listings, M3-Munikis Zero (Nihil Zero), carries the English fan name beside the Japanese romanization.

The same product’s Sealed option is ¥8,932 (~$58), and the M3 Nihil Zero Damaged Box is a separate product at ¥7,796 (~$51). Set-level detail is in the M3 Nihil Zero complete guide, the Nihil Zero card list and Nihil Zero pull rates and best cards.
The High Class Pack Line the Render Belongs To
The MA rarity was introduced in the high class pack MEGA Dream ex, and the pack reported for the render is the next in that line. The official pages of the five earlier high class packs print the same price, ¥550 including tax, and differ in card count and in the fixed-card line they carry. None prints a packs-per-box figure or a card total.
| Pack | Japanese release | Cards per pack | Fixed-card line on the official page (rendering) |
|---|---|---|---|
| VMAX Climax (s8b) | December 3, 2021 | 11 | One foil Basic Energy card in every pack |
| VSTAR Universe (s12a) | December 2, 2022 | 10 | One V, VSTAR or VMAX card |
| Shiny Treasure ex (sv4a) | December 1, 2023 | 10 | One Pokémon ex |
| Terastal Fest ex, テラスタルフェスex (sv8a) | December 6, 2024 | 10 | One Pokémon ex |
| MEGA Dream ex (m2a) | November 28, 2025 | 10 | None printed; cards are inserted at random |
| MEGA x MEGA Parade | February 19, 2027 (reported) | 10 (reported) | Pokébeach’s wording: one hit card per pack; not on an official page |
The MEGA Dream ex page introduced MA, メガアタックレア, with a special mirror finish, and the official database lists ten MA cards in that set, numbered 223 to 232 of 193. The Zygarde render’s number, 214 of 165, sits among numbers above the 165 main set, as the 2025 MA cards sit above 193; how many MA cards the Parade set holds is not confirmed. All ten MA cards of 2025 are in the Mega Attack Rare complete list.
How to Tell the Prints Apart on a Slab
The five prints share a name, HP and text, so the number, rarity and illustrator credit are the separators. The checks use only values printed in the database or on the render.
| Check | 046/080 | 097/080 | 113/080 | 117/080 | MA 214/165 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Rarity | RR | SR | SAR | MUR | MA |
| Number against printed total | inside 080 | above 080 | above 080 | above 080 | above 165 (different total) |
| Illustrator | takuyoa | takuyoa | kantaro | takuyoa | 5ban Graphics |
| Database ID | 49679 | 50064 | 50080 | 50084 | none |
| Set | M3 | M3 | M3 | M3 | MEGA x MEGA Parade (reported) |
PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards. Match the number and rarity on the slab to the table before relying on a listing title, and keep the Japanese number format: 113/080 is the Japanese SAR, and the English Perfect Order SAR is 120.
Where to Buy Mega Zygarde ex Cards from Tokyo
The sealed box and the linked PSA 10 back orders are the routes to the 2026 prints: the M3 Nihil Zero booster box is currently listed from ¥8,375 (~$54) in its No Shrink option, and the SAR and MUR back orders are priced in the table of dated asks. The Mega Attack Rare has no listing, and sourcing requests for MEGA x MEGA Parade go through Schnellbestellung.
Browse the whole Nihil Zero set on the M3 card list or open the card list hub. The Water-type card from the same reveal is covered in the Mega Greninja ex Mega Attack Rare 208/165 card guide, and the box comparison is in M3 Nihil Zero vs M4 Ninja Spinner.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
How many Japanese prints of Mega Zygarde ex are there?
The official database lists four, all from M3 Nihil Zero: RR 046/080, SR 097/080, SAR 113/080 and MUR 117/080. A fifth, the Mega Attack Rare 214/165, was shown in the Pokémon Company’s August 31, 2026 video on an under-development render; it has no database row as of October 1, 2026.
When does Mega Zygarde ex Mega Attack Rare 214/165 release?
Pokébeach’s August 25, 2026 report gives Friday, February 19, 2027 as the Japanese release date of MEGA x MEGA Parade, the set it places the card in; nothing official exists. pokemon-card.com had no page for the set as of October 1, 2026, and the official video caption says the cards shown may differ from the final products.
How much is a PSA 10 Mega Zygarde ex?
The SAR 113/080 is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥6,373 (~$41) and the MUR 117/080 at ¥38,454 (~$250). SNKRDUNK’s lowest PSA 10 asks on October 1, 2026 were ¥6,199 and ¥40,000. Asks are listing prices, not sold prices.
Is the Mega Attack Rare a new card?
No. The render prints the same 310 HP and the same two attacks, ガイアウェーブ and ムニキスゼロ, as the 2026 cards in the official database. What changes is the rarity, MA, and the illustrator credit, 5ban Graphics, which none of the four Japanese prints carries. Wargamer called the four new cards restylised reprints.
Is there an English Mega Zygarde ex?
Yes, in Perfect Order, released March 27, 2026: numbers 47, 104, 120 and 124 per Limitless TCG, plus Mega Promos 71. The Mega Attack Rare 214/165 has no English print as of October 1, 2026, and an English version of MEGA x MEGA Parade is not confirmed by any official source.
Who illustrated Mega Zygarde ex 214/165?
The render prints the credit 5ban Graphics. The four Nihil Zero prints in the official database are credited to takuyoa (RR, SR and MUR) and kantaro (SAR). 5ban Graphics is also credited on one MEGA Dream ex Mega Attack Rare, 228/193 メガルカリオex. The credit is as printed on an under-development render.
How many cards are in Nihil Zero?
Limitless TCG lists 117 cards, ending with the MUR 117/080 of Mega Zygarde ex. The official product page, which gives January 23, 2026, ¥180 and five Karten pro Pack, does not print a card count or a packs-per-box figure. Pull rates are not published on it either.
