Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Attack Rare 218/165: Every Print and PSA 10

Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Attack Rare 218/165: Every Print and PSA 10

Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Attack Rare 218/165 is the highest-numbered of the four MA cards the Pokémon Company showed on August 31, 2026, and as of October 1, 2026 it exists as an official image on an under-development render with no product page behind it. The English video’s caption reads « Cards shown are under development and may differ from the final products », pokemon.com’s closing-ceremonies recap names « Mega Rayquaza ex » among the Mega attack rare sneak peeks, and Pokébeach places the card in « what is presumably February’s MEGA x MEGA Parade ».

It is a re-illustration of a card from Storm Emeralda (M6, released July 31, 2026). The render prints the same 280 HP, the same ability and the same attack as the four Mega Rayquaza ex cards in the official database: an RR, an SR, a SAR and the set’s only MUR. The new elements are the artwork, the illustrator credit (Saboteri) and STORM EMERALDA lettered across the picture. Unlike the other three Megas shown, this card has no English print to pair with at all: Limitless TCG lists no English Mega Rayquaza ex card as of October 1, 2026.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate; asking prices from the Japanese market are listing prices, not sales.

Key Takeaways

Official: the MA card was shown in the Pokémon Company’s August 31, 2026 video. Printed on the render: 218/165, 280 HP, Colorless, Saboteri. Reported (Pokébeach): MEGA x MEGA Parade, Friday, February 19, 2027. Not confirmed: pull rate, the set’s MA count, an English counterpart. The Storm Emeralda box behind the four existing prints has a No Shrink option currently listed at ¥9,380 (~$61).

Updated October 1, 2026 — First version

The four Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex prints from the official database, the card text as printed on the render, the English status per pokemon.com and Limitless TCG, our PSA 10 back orders and SNKRDUNK asks dated September 30, 2026. What Was Shown on August 31, 2026

The footage sits in two official uploads of August 31, 2026: 「【公式】ポケモンカードゲーム「ex★」」 on the Japanese channel and « NEW ex★ Series & Mega Lucario Z ex Reveal | PokémonXP and Pokémon Worlds 2026 » on the English channel, posted after the World Championships closed in San Francisco. Neither description names a Mega Attack Rare; the written record is pokemon.com’s closing-ceremonies recap, which lists « Mega Darkrai ex*, Mega Zygarde ex*, Mega Greninja ex* and Mega Rayquaza ex* » and does not say which product they belong to.

The same separation applies to every statement: the card is official, the numbers are read off a render the company says may change, and the set is a report. The four-card Mega Attack Rare guide sets the four reveals next to each other, and the Mega Attack Rare complete list adds the ten MA cards of MEGA Dream ex.

The Card as Printed on the Render

The render shows メガレックウザex as a Basic Pokémon, Colorless type, with the gold rule bar 「メガシンカexルール メガシンカexがきぜつしたとき、相手はサイドを3枚とる。」 (when a Mega Evolution ex is Knocked Out, the opponent takes 3 Prize cards) and the tag 「レックウザがメガシンカしたすがた」. Card text is rendered in English paraphrase; a name marked (rendering) is our translation of the Japanese name, not an official English name.

Field As printed on the render
Number and rarity 218/165, MA (Mega Attack Rare); regulation mark J
Stage, HP, type Basic (たね), HP 280, Colorless (無色)
Ability はしゃのほうこう (Conqueror’s Roar, rendering): once during your turn, when you play this card from your hand to your Bench, look at the top 4 cards of your deck, choose a Basic Energy card from among them and attach it to this Pokémon; shuffle the rest face down and put them on the bottom of your deck.
Attack ストームエメラルダ (Storm Emeralda): Fire, Lightning, Colorless. 50× damage for each Fire Energy and Lightning Energy attached to all of your Pokémon.
Weakness / resistance / retreat Lightning ×2 / Fighting −30 / 2 Energy
Illustrator Saboteri
Lettering across the artwork « STORM EMERALDA »
Copyright line ©2027 Pokémon / Nintendo / Creatures / GAME FREAK

The ability, the attack, HP 280, the Lightning weakness, the Fighting resistance and the retreat cost of 2 are identical to the four Storm Emeralda prints in the official database. Two details stand out. The attack costs Fire, Lightning and Colorless Energy although the Pokémon is Colorless, and its damage counts the Fire and Lightning Energy on the whole team rather than on Rayquaza alone. And, as on the Mega Darkrai ex render, the lettering across the art is the card’s own attack name, which is also the romanized name of its Japanese source set, ストームエメラルダ. The 2027 copyright year is the one the under-development renders carry; the official caption allows for changes before release.

Every Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex Print in the Official Database

The official card database on pokemon-card.com lists four cards under the exact name メガレックウザex, all in M6 ストームエメラルダ (Storm Emeralda), all printed over a /076 denominator. The MA render would be the fifth Japanese artwork, and the first printed over /165.

M6 Storm Emeralda

Here the credit pattern is different from Mega Darkrai ex. takuyoa drew two of the four prints, the RR and the MUR; 5ban Graphics drew the SR; Kazuki Minami drew the SAR; Saboteri, the credit on the MA render, appears on none. In the secret block of Storm Emeralda 5ban Graphics is credited on seven of the 18 SR cards, 089 through 096 excluding the Raikou ex, and Saboteri does not appear among the secret-rare credits the official database lists for the set. Saboteri did draw three of the ten MEGA Dream ex Mega Attack Rares (Mega Charizard X ex 223, Mega Froslass ex 224 and Mega Gardevoir ex 226, all /193), and the credit also sits on the MA render of Mega Rayquaza ex. A Mega Rayquaza ex with a /165 denominator and a Saboteri credit is the MA version; one printed over /076 is a Storm Emeralda print, and the rarity code and credit separate the four of those.

Older cards with a similar name are different cards. The Mega Battle Deck 60 card M Rayquaza EX XYD 006/018 is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥49,225 (~$320), and our earlier Mega Rayquaza value guide and shiny Mega Rayquaza guide cover those; the four database rows are the cards named メガレックウザex.

English Mega Rayquaza ex: Delta Reign and Limitless TCG

Limitless TCG lists no English Mega Rayquaza ex card as of October 1, 2026, and its English set index has no Delta Reign entry. The official English source is pokemon.com: its Mega Evolution—Delta Reign set page gives the release date « November 06, 2026 » and « Over 135 cards », and both the set page and the August 20, 2026 news article name Mega Rayquaza ex first among the Mega Evolution Pokémon ex the set features, alongside Mega Golurk ex, Mega Malamar ex and Mega Golisopod ex. Neither page prints a card number, a rarity or an illustrator for it.

Pairing a future English card with a Japanese print by illustrator credit is not possible yet, because no English card exists to read a credit from. For the other three Megas shown on August 31, 2026 the pairing is available: Mega Greninja ex, Mega Zygarde ex and Mega Darkrai ex each have English prints in Chaos Rising, Perfect Order and Pitch Black respectively, per Limitless TCG. Mega Rayquaza ex is the one whose English side is still a set page and a release date. The English release record for the Parade set is in our English release article, and the Delta Reign set itself is covered in our Delta Reign card list.

PSA 10 Back Orders and Dated Asks

The SAR and MUR versions are offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥91,453 (~$594) for the SAR 110/076 and ¥222,136 (~$1,442) for the MUR 113/076 — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The route is explained on our PSA 10 back order page. The physical PSA 10 MUR slab is sold out at the time of this update; sourcing requests go through Quick Order.

Both prints show the same pattern on September 30, 2026: the PSA 10 ask (¥88,000 for the SAR, ¥204,800 for the MUR) sits above the raw ask (¥27,999 and ¥40,000), and the MUR’s figures sit above the SAR’s at both grades. Our back-order prices track the PSA 10 asks. No dated figure exists for the RR and SR in this update, and the MA card has no price history because no copy has been printed; the ten MEGA Dream ex Mega Attack Rares, set out in the complete list, are the only reference for where an MA sits against the SAR and MUR of the same Pokémon.

Storm Emeralda (M6): The Box Behind the Earlier Prints

The official product page for ポケモンカードゲーム MEGA 拡張パック「ストームエメラルダ」 prints a release date of July 31, 2026, a price of 200 yen (tax included) and five cartes par pack, and states that Basic Energy cards are not included in the set. The official database lists 110 entries for a 113-card numbering: 76 base cards printed up to /076, with each of the three paired Stadium cards counted as one entry, and 37 secret rares above /076 made up of 12 AR, 18 SR, 6 SAR and one MUR. Mega Rayquaza ex holds one of the eight RR cards (058/076), an SR (095/076), a SAR (110/076) and the set’s only MUR (113/076). The other three Mega Evolution ex cards in the main numbering are Mega Golisopod ex 009, Mega Golurk ex 033 and Mega Malamar ex 048, and Mega Golisopod ex and Mega Golurk ex also have SAR prints (107 and 109). The product page does not print a packs-per-box figure.

Where the Card Sits in MEGA x MEGA Parade

For the set itself the record is Pokébeach’s: its August 25, 2026 report names Friday, February 19, 2027 as the Japanese release date of MEGA x MEGA Parade, calls it Japan’s high class pack at ¥550 for ten cards, and names Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y as its featured Pokémon; pokemon-card.com had no page for it as of October 1, 2026. Retailers print their own dates (2027/2/17 on a Yahoo! Shopping store, February 19, 2027 on another, and 2026/12/15 on a screenshotted listing, a placeholder rather than an announced date), none of which is a release date.

The official high class pack pages set the format. VMAX Climax (December 3, 2021), VSTAR Universe (December 2, 2022), Shiny Treasure ex (December 1, 2023), テラスタルフェスex (December 6, 2024) and MEGA Dream ex (November 28, 2025) each print 550 yen including tax, and the MEGA Dream ex page prints ten cartes par pack and introduces MA as a rarity. Our high class pack history lays the five out in full.

Question about the MA card Status as of October 1, 2026
Is the card real? Official: shown by the Pokémon Company, with the under-development caption
Which set is it in? Reported by Pokébeach as presumably MEGA x MEGA Parade; no official page
How many MA cards does the set hold? Not confirmed; four have been shown
Pull rate Not confirmed; the MEGA Dream ex page prints only that cards are randomly inserted
English counterpart Not confirmed; Delta Reign (November 6, 2026) names Mega Rayquaza ex as a featured card
Box price and packs per box Not confirmed

Set-level status lives in the MEGA x MEGA Parade hub and the card list tracker; the Darkness-type card from the same video has its own guide, Mega Darkrai ex Mega Attack Rare 217/165.

Where to Buy Mega Rayquaza ex and Storm Emeralda from Tokyo

The Storm Emeralda box is the product that carries the four existing Mega Rayquaza ex prints; its No Shrink option is currently listed at ¥9,380 (~$61). The graded SAR is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥91,453 (~$594) and the MUR at ¥222,136 (~$1,442). The M6 card list page and the card list hub link the rest, and sourcing requests for MEGA x MEGA Parade cards or a specific Storm Emeralda print go through Commande rapide.

Update Log

  • October 1, 2026 — First version: the MA render as printed, the four Storm Emeralda prints from the official database, the English status per pokemon.com and Limitless TCG, our PSA 10 back orders and SNKRDUNK asks dated September 30, 2026. Planned next update: an official card database row or product page for the set.

Foire aux questions

What is Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Attack Rare 218/165?

A Mega Evolution Pokémon ex shown by the Pokémon Company on August 31, 2026 on an under-development render: Basic Colorless, 280 HP, illustrated by Saboteri, with STORM EMERALDA lettered across the art. It reprints the Storm Emeralda (M6) card with new artwork, and Pokébeach reports it as a MEGA x MEGA Parade card.

How many Japanese Mega Rayquaza ex prints are there?

The official database lists four, all in Storm Emeralda (M6): RR 058/076, SR 095/076, SAR 110/076 and MUR 113/076. The Mega Attack Rare 218/165 shown on August 31, 2026 would be the fifth Japanese artwork, but no database row exists for it as of October 1, 2026.

When is the Mega Rayquaza ex Mega Attack Rare released?

Pokébeach’s August 25, 2026 report gives Friday, February 19, 2027 as the Japanese release date of MEGA x MEGA Parade, and its August 31 article places the Mega Attack Rares there « presumably ». No official page existed for the set as of October 1, 2026, so the date and the placement are reports, not announcements.

Is there an English Mega Rayquaza ex card?

Limitless TCG lists none as of October 1, 2026. pokemon.com names Mega Rayquaza ex as a featured card of Mega Evolution—Delta Reign, dated November 6, 2026, without a card number. Bulbapedia’s partial list shows 084/103, which is reported, not official. No English Mega Attack Rare has been announced.

How much is a PSA 10 Mega Rayquaza ex?

The SAR 110/076 is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥91,453 (~$594) and the MUR 113/076 at ¥222,136 (~$1,442). SNKRDUNK’s lowest PSA 10 asks on September 30, 2026 were ¥88,000 and ¥204,800; asks are listing prices, not sales.

Which box contains the earlier Mega Rayquaza ex cards?

Storm Emeralda (M6), released in Japan on July 31, 2026 with five cartes par pack. Our M6 booster box is currently listed at ¥9,380 (~$61) in the No Shrink option and ¥11,165 (~$72) in the Sealed option, as separate options of one product. The official product page does not print a packs-per-box figure.
