Paldea Evolved Booster Box vs Japanese SV2P & SV2D (Pokemon)

The Paldea Evolved booster box is one English product, but Bulbapedia’s list of Japanese expansions (snapshot September 15, 2026) pairs the set with two Japanese boxes, SV2P Snow Hazard and SV2D Clay Burst, both listed with an April 14, 2023 release, and with a third set, SV1a Triplet Beat. The official pokemon.com page prints June 09, 2023 for Paldea Evolved.

Limitless TCG’s card pages show which Japanese prints match the 86 Paldea Evolved cards numbered 194 to 279, and the tables below give the Japanese set and number of each one. Twenty-eight of them are matched to SV2P, twenty-eight to SV2D and thirty to SV1a.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

Card-by-Card: What Limitless Matches to SV2P, SV2D and SV1a

Limitless TCG’s page for each English card lists its Japanese prints, meaning the Japanese cards that share the same game text. The tables show, for every English card numbered 194 to 279, the Japanese print in the same rarity tier and the set it belongs to. The pairing used is Art Rare with AR, Special Art Rare with SAR, Ultra Rare with SR and Secret Rare with UR. Japanese names, numbers and rarity codes are as printed in the official pokemon-card.com database.

PSA 10 cards for these Japanese prints are offered as back orders — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The PSA 10 back order guide explains how a back order works. Where a physical PSA 10 row is priced as well, both are shown.

Reading a Card’s Region at a Glance

Limitless lists these Japanese prints against the English cards, and the official database credits the same illustrator on each of the six pictured SAR pairs. These printed details identify the region instead:

  1. The number denominator. Japanese SV2P and SV2D cards print a /071 denominator in the official database (Bramblin AR is SV2P 072/071), and SV1a cards print /073. The English set’s printed total is 193 per pokemon-tcg-data, and the English Art Rare and higher cards are numbered 194 to 279.
  2. The number itself. The same card sits at a different number in each region: Chi-Yu ex SAR is 259 in English and 092/071 in SV2D; Chien-Pao ex SAR is 261 in English and 093/071 in SV2P; Iono SAR is 269 in English and 096/071 in SV2D.
  3. The tier codes. The official Japanese rows carry AR, SR, SAR and UR icons; the English tiers are Limitless’s Art Rare, Ultra Rare, Special Art Rare and Secret Rare labels.
  4. The language. The Japanese cards print Japanese names, such as イーユイex for Chi-Yu ex.

See our Japanese vs English Pokemon cards explainer for the wider differences and the Paldea Evolved and the Japanese sets behind it article for the set-level view.

Where to Buy the Japanese Side from Tokyo

The Japanese side is what we sell from Tokyo. The SV2P Snow Hazard booster box is currently listed at ¥11,440 (~$74) (Sealed) and ¥11,073 (~$72) (No Shrink); the SV2D Clay Burst booster box at ¥10,232 (~$66) (Sealed); the SV1a Triplet Beat booster box at ¥17,345 (~$113) (Sealed).

The Snow Hazard (SV2P) card list, the Clay Burst (SV2D) card list and the Triplet Beat (SV1a) card list show every card of each Japanese set. The written SV2P card list and the written SV2D card list cover the sets in detail, and the card list hub covers the rest. Graded singles are on the PSA 10 card list and in the PSA10 collection. Sourcing requests for a specific card go through Pesan Cepat.
