Bulbapedia has no separate card page for the web print. Its page “Surfing Pikachu (Wizards Promo 28)” carries one infobox for all prints, and that the web print’s text is identical to it is not separately confirmed. The same page lists the web print with the expansion row “Pokémon Web, Uncommon, 025/048” and the illustrator Toshinao Aoki.

The official database has no entry for the web print, so it prints no HP, attack or illustrator for it. The image above is the later Japanese XY-P 264/XY-P print, shown for comparison. The two entries the database does list for the name are the later prints in the next sections.

Database entry 22266 shows the rarity icon S and the illustrator Toshinao Aoki. Bulbapedia pairs it with the English Rising Rivals 114/111. It is a later print than the web card and a separate database entry.

XY-P 264/XY-P — Toshinao Aoki

Database entry 32312 shows no rarity icon on its page and credits Toshinao Aoki. Bulbapedia pairs it with the English Evolutions 111/108 and says the Evolutions card uses the same artwork as the original print. We list it as a PSA 10 back order at ¥107,080 (~$695).

How to Tell the Web Print From the Later Japanese Prints

All three cards credit the same illustrator, so the number and the set are the check. The table lines up the three numbered Japanese prints.

The web card is numbered out of 48; the two database prints are numbered out of 90 and as a promo. The name なみのりピカチュウ also appears on V and VMAX cards in the database; those are separate cards with their own numbers.
