Four Japanese Clefairy cards, one shared theme — Lillie — and a 7.8x spread between the cheapest and the most expensive PSA 10 currently listed on our site.
Clefairy has had a quiet but consistent run in the Japanese market thanks to Lillie’s Clefairy ex, the trainer-character variant that has now appeared across three different sets and rarity tiers, plus a much older Sun & Moon-era promo card built around the same Clefairy-and-Lillie pairing. This guide is a narrow, single-character spotlight on those four cards specifically — not a full Clefairy-and-Clefable rundown. If you want the combined evolution-line breakdown, our Clefairy and Clefable cards guide covers that ground; this piece goes deeper on the Lillie’s Clefairy ex chase prints and the SM-P promo alone.
Four Japanese Clefairy cards worth tracking: the Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection SAR at PSA 10 ¥127,226 (~$800) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), the Sun & Moon-era Clefairy 381/SM-P promo at PSA 10 ¥110,616 (~$696) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), and two Battle Partners SV9 prints priced well below both. Rarity label and market price don’t always line up — the SV9 card marked “Secret Rare” is our cheapest of the four.
Prices below are our own PSA 10 listed prices as of September 2026, converted at ¥159/USD. These are listed-at figures, not in-stock claims — check the product page for current status.
Every Lillie’s Clefairy Print and What It’s Worth
All four cards below are graded PSA 10 copies currently listed on our site, ranked by current listed price:
| Carta | Set | Rarity | Our PSA 10 price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lillie’s Clefairy ex 765/742 | Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection (MC) | SAR (Style) | ¥127,226 (~$800) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) |
| Clefairy 381/SM-P | Sun & Moon Promotional Cards | Promo | ¥110,616 (~$696) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) |
| Lillie’s Clefairy ex 126/100 | Battle Partners (SV9) | SAR | ¥36,858 (~$232) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) |
| Lillie’s Clefairy ex 115/100 | Battle Partners (SV9) | Secret Rare | ¥16,280 (~$102) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) |
The order here is the interesting part. The oldest, non-“ex” card — a plain Clefairy promo from the Sun & Moon era — outprices both of the newer Battle Partners SV9 chase cards. And within Battle Partners itself, the card carrying the flashier “Secret Rare” label is priced below the SAR from the same set. Rarity naming and market value are two separate things, and this line-up is a clean example of it.
The Rarest Print: MC 765/742 “Style” SAR

The top of the lineup comes from Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection, set code MC, numbered 765/742 — a number that sits above the set’s total print count, which is typical of a secret-rare-tier slot even though the card is classified as a SAR. Our own internal listing tags it as the set’s “style” print: the highest-tier Lillie’s Clefairy ex treatment currently in our catalogue.
In PSA 10, we currently list it at ¥127,226 (about $800) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), roughly 3.5x the SV9 SAR and nearly 8x the SV9 “Secret Rare” print below. For readers comparing alt-art and SAR treatments across the wider Scarlet & Violet era, our Japanese alt-art SAR cards guide covers how this tier is classified across other sets.
Set code and card number are the fastest way to separate the two Lillie’s Clefairy ex “SAR” cards in this guide. MC 765/742 comes from Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection; 126/100 comes from Battle Partners (SV9). Same rarity label, different set, very different price.
SV9 Battle Partners: SAR vs “Secret Rare”
Battle Partners (SV9) produced two Lillie’s Clefairy ex prints in the same release, and they sit at opposite ends of our pricing for this set.

The 126/100 SAR lists at ¥36,858 (~$232) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) in PSA 10 — more than double the other SV9 print. The 115/100 card is the one we internally shorthand as “SR,” and its numbering above the set’s 100-card base follows the pattern collectors usually associate with a Secret Rare slot; it currently lists at ¥16,280 (~$102) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order).
If you’re buying from Battle Partners specifically and want to see how these two sit against the rest of that set’s chase cards, our Battle Partners (SV9) card list has the full breakdown.
The Clefairy 381/SM-P Promo

This one predates the “ex” cards by a full generation. It’s a plain Clefairy — not an “ex” — from the Sun & Moon Promotional Cards line, set code SM-P, numbered 381, illustrated by Sanosuke Sakuma. Its in-game text references “Lillie’s Clefairy doll,” the same Alola-region character connection that the newer ex cards revisit years later.
Despite its age and its plain (non-ex) status, it’s the second-highest card in this line-up: PSA 10 currently listed at ¥110,616 (about $696) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), ahead of both Battle Partners SV9 prints combined. Promo-only distribution from the Sun & Moon era tends to hold value well in the Japanese market precisely because these cards were never part of a mainline booster set.
Which Clefairy Print Fits Your Budget
Based on our own current PSA 10 listings, here’s how the four break down by spend:
- Under $110 — the SV9 Secret Rare-labelled 115/100 at ¥16,280 (~$102) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). The most affordable route into a graded Lillie’s Clefairy ex.
- Around $230 — the SV9 SAR 126/100 at ¥36,858 (~$232) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), the mid-tier chase print from the same set.
- $690–$800 — the Sun & Moon-era 381/SM-P promo (¥110,616, ~$696 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)) or the Starter Decks 100 Battle Collection “style” SAR (¥127,226, ~$800 (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order)) at the top of the range.
If your interest in Lillie’s chase cards extends beyond Clefairy, our tag team GX cards guide covers a different era of trainer-paired alt-art chase prints for comparison.
Why This Guide Doesn’t Cover Clefable
Clefairy’s evolution, Clefable, has its own set of Japanese printings, and we already cover the two characters together in a dedicated piece. This article is deliberately narrower: it’s a spotlight on the four Lillie’s Clefairy ex and Clefairy promo cards above, not a full evolution-line rundown.
If you’re after Clefable’s printings, or want the combined Clefairy-and-Clefable picture in one place, our Clefairy and Clefable cards guide is the one to read alongside this piece.
