Entei Pokémon Card Value Guide 2026 (Japanese Prints, Our Listed Prices)

Entei Pokémon Card Value Guide 2026 (Japanese Prints, Our Listed Prices)

How much is an Entei Pokémon card worth? For the Japanese エンテイ (Entei), this guide answers with one kind of number only: the prices at which our store currently lists Entei PSA 10 cards, as of October 29, 2026. It gives no market price, no asking price from another site, no sold price and no forecast, because none of those come from our own listings and none can be checked against the card in your hand.

Entei is the Fire legendary beast of Pokémon Gold & Silver (1999), tied in that story to the Burned Tower. The printed record is long: the neo Premium File 3 card of Thursday, November 23, 2000, the Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean print of Friday, April 8, 2005, the Mitsuhiro Arita card of The Best of XY, the Entei V 213/172 print of VSTAR Universe (SAR, as our listing names it), and a run of regular Entei cards that reaches M2a 020/193. The table below puts our Entei PSA 10 listings in price order, and the sections after it take each card in turn.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

Key Takeaways
  • As of October 29, 2026 the top row of our Entei PSA 10 ranking is the 2005 PCG4 019/106 card, offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥2,570,400 (~$16,691) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
  • The visible PSA 10 Entei listing is the Mitsuhiro Arita card, XY 011/171, currently listed at ¥41,088 (~$267).
  • Every figure here is a listing price, not a sold price and not a market estimate. Back orders are sourced to order, and each product page shows the current terms.
  • Print identity comes first: the number over the denominator, the set name and the edition mark decide which row of the table a card belongs to.

What This Guide Prices, and What It Does Not

A value guide is only as honest as its source. The only yen figures in this article are the prices at which we list graded Entei cards on October 29, 2026. They are prices we ask for a specific graded copy, set against one date. They say nothing about what another seller asks and nothing about what any buyer has paid, and this guide does not turn them into an estimate of what a card will be worth later.

Two kinds of listing appear below, and the wording differs on purpose.

  • Visible PSA 10 listing. A product page you can find in the catalogue. The Mitsuhiro Arita card is the visible one: currently listed at ¥41,088 (~$267).
  • PSA 10 back order. A PSA 10 copy is offered as a back order (sourced to order) at the linked price. The product page shows the current terms, so the page is the place to confirm anything before you order.

Before you compare any two Entei prices, run three checks in this order.

  1. The print. Match the number over the denominator and the set name. Entei XY 011/171 and Entei V 213/172 are different cards that share only a name.
  2. The grade. Every row in this guide is a PSA 10 listing. A raw card with the same number is a different product.
  3. The edition mark. The 2005 row carries 1ED (1st Edition) in our listing name; the neo Premium File row is an Old Back card. Those marks belong to the listing, so they travel with the price.

The earlier guides cover the family in general: see our Entei cards guide and the legendary beasts guide. This article keeps to our listings and the printed facts that identify them.

Entei PSA 10 Listings Ranked by Our Listed Price

The table runs from the first row to the last in descending order of our listed price on October 29, 2026. The order is arithmetic and nothing more: it does not say why one row sits above another. Names are copied as our catalogue prints them.

# Listing (as our catalogue names it) Set Kind of listing Our listed price (as of October 29, 2026)
1 PSA10 Entei: 1ED [PCG4 019/106] Expansion Pack “Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean” PSA 10 back order ¥2,570,400 (~$16,691)
2 PSA10 Entei [PCG 001/009] PokePark Premium File “Blue Sheet” PSA 10 back order ¥239,200 (~$1,553)
3 PSA10 Entei LV.24 : Old Back [PRMF-3 No.244] Pokemon Card neo “Premium File 3” PSA 10 back order ¥66,340 (~$431)
4 PSA10 Entei [XY 011/171] High Class Pack “The Best of XY” Visible PSA 10 listing ¥41,088 (~$267)
5 PSA10 Entei V SAR [s12a 213/172] High Class Pack “VSTAR Universe” PSA 10 back order ¥15,525 (~$101)

Read the table as a list of separate cards, not as a ladder of one card’s condition. Row 1 is listed at more than ten times row 2, and rows 3 to 5 sit much closer together in yen, but the printings behind them are different cards from different sets. That is why the sections below take the rows one at a time, with the printed facts that identify each card.

The rows are not interchangeable. A collector who wants the Mitsuhiro Arita artwork is shopping for row 4, whatever row 1 costs, and the same holds for the Entei V 213/172 print in row 5. Use the table to see where each card sits against our other Entei listings, then read the section for the card you actually want.

2005: Entei 1ED PCG4 019/106 (Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean)

The top row is the Entei numbered 019/106 in PCG4, the Expansion Pack “Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean” (our site also writes “Gold Sky Silver Sea”), released on Friday, April 8, 2005. Our legendary beasts guide records a Gold Star Entei ★ with that Japanese number, printed in the same set and in the English EX Unseen Forces (Monday, August 22, 2005) as 113/115. The guide gives HP 80 and the illustrator Masakazu Fukuda. Our listing is matched to that card by number and set name; the listing name itself does not print a rarity symbol, so this guide does not assert one.

PSA 10 Entei 1ED PCG4 019/106 Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean
PSA 10 Entei — 1ED — PCG4 019/106 — Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean

The listing is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥2,570,400 (~$16,691) as of October 29, 2026, sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The two marks in the name are worth reading closely:

  • 1ED is the 1st Edition mark, written the way our catalogue writes it for e-series and PCG cards.
  • PCG4 is the set code, and 019/106 is the number over the denominator, the first thing to match against a slab label.

This card is not in the official Japanese card database. That database starts at the Diamond & Pearl era, so Old Back, e-series and PCG cards have no database page to compare against. For these prints the slab label and the product photo are the checking surface. A longer walk through this card is in our Entei Gold Star PCG4 019/106 guide.

Old Back and Premium File Prints: PRMF-3 No.244 and PCG 001/009

Two rows come from Premium File products, collector files that carried a few cards each.

PRMF-3 No.244 (neo Premium File 3)

Premium File 3 was released on Thursday, November 23, 2000, as nine legendary-focused cards, one per card type, among them Lugia, Ho-Oh, Entei, Raikou and Suicune. Our listing “PSA10 Entei LV.24 : Old Back [PRMF-3 No.244]” is the Entei of that file. “Old Back” refers to the card back used from the October 1996 launch until Pokémon VS (Thursday, July 19, 2001); our Old Back guide notes that such a card never carries a 1ED stamp, which is why this row has no edition mark while the 2005 row does.

The PSA 10 back order is listed at ¥66,340 (~$431) as of October 29, 2026, sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. The Premium File 2 of Saturday, July 8, 2000 (general release Saturday, August 5, 2000) also held an Entei, tied to the film Spell of the Unown: Entei, but that is a different card from the one in this row.

The PokePark Premium File “Blue Sheet” Entei is numbered PCG 001/009 and is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥239,200 (~$1,553) as of October 29, 2026, sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. Our sources do not state its year, its rarity or its illustrator, and the card is not in the official database, so this guide states none of them. What the listing name does tell you is the file, the sheet colour and the number 001 of 009.

Entei XY 011/171 by Mitsuhiro Arita (The Best of XY)

The fourth row is the card we list as a visible PSA 10: Entei numbered XY 011/171, from the High Class Pack “The Best of XY”. The official database credits Mitsuhiro Arita, shows HP 130, and holds two entries for this same printed number (card IDs 33563 and 33732) with identical text.

Entei — XY 011/171 — The Best of XY (Mitsuhiro Arita)

The card text, rendered from the printed Japanese (rendering): a Basic Pokémon with HP 130 and the Ancient Trait Θ(シータ)ダブル, which lets it carry up to two Pokémon Tool cards. Its first attack, フレイムバリア (Flame Barrier), does 30 and reduces the damage this Pokémon takes by 30 during the opponent’s next turn. Its second, ヒートタックル (Heat Tackle), does 130 and, on a coin flip of tails, deals 30 to Entei as well.

As of October 29, 2026 this Entei is currently listed at ¥41,088 (~$267). The same artist drew another Entei in XY7 Bandit Ring (015/081, HP 130), a separate card with the same attack text. Our Mitsuhiro Arita guide covers his work across the game, and the set itself is described in The Best of XY High Class Pack guide. A fuller card walk-through is in our Entei 011/171 PSA 10 guide.

Entei V 213/172 (VSTAR Universe)

The last row is the Entei V numbered 213/172 in the High Class Pack “VSTAR Universe” (S12a), released on Friday, December 2, 2022. The official database credits Shigenori Negishi and shows HP 230. The number sits above the set’s printed count of 172, which marks it as a secret-numbered print; the database does not print a rarity letter, and our listing name carries “SAR”, which is how we name it.

PSA 10 Entei V SAR 213/172 S12a VSTAR Universe
PSA 10 Entei V — SAR — S12a 213/172 — VSTAR Universe (Shigenori Negishi)

The card text, rendered (rendering): a Basic Pokémon V with the Ability しゅんそく (Quick Dash), usable once during your turn while it is in the Active Spot, which draws 1 card; and the attack バーニングロンド (Burning Rondo), 20 damage plus 20 more for each Benched Pokémon on both sides. When a Pokémon V is Knocked Out, the opponent takes 2 Prize cards.

The PSA 10 back order is listed at ¥15,525 (~$101) as of October 29, 2026, sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.

English-language collectors search for this card as “Entei V GG36” or “Entei V Crown Zenith”; this guide uses those only as search names. For a deeper read of this card and the other three Entei V database entries, see our Entei V PSA 10 guide.

Official Database Prints Without a PSA 10 Listing

The official Japanese card database lists 31 Entei entries from the Diamond & Pearl era onward. The five recent regular prints below have no PSA 10 listing in our Entei group on October 29, 2026. They appear here so that a card in your hand can be placed, not to price it: we state no yen figure for them. A request for one goes through Ordine rapido.

Older Entei prints also sit in the database: the Sword & Shield era cards (S5I, S6a, S11a, SD), the Sun & Moon era cards (SM8 022/095, SM11a 011/064), the Entei GX of SM3p, Entei EX of BW4 and the LEGEND card Entei & Raikou from L2 Reviving Legends. Our sibling guide on the Sword & Shield era Entei prints sets the checklist out with official images.

How to Read an Entei Listing Name

A listing name packs a lot into one line. This decoder covers the pieces that appear in the five Entei rows above.

Piece of the name What it tells you Where it appears
PSA10 The graded product is a PSA 10 copy All five rows
1ED 1st Edition mark in our catalogue spelling PCG4 019/106 row
Old Back The pre-Thursday, July 19, 2001 card back; no 1ED stamp exists on such a card PRMF-3 No.244 row
LV.24 The card’s printed level PRMF-3 No.244 row
[XY 011/171] Set code, then number over denominator The Best of XY row
SAR (as our listing names it) Rarity letter from our catalogue; the official database does not print it Entei V 213/172 row
PSA 10 back order Offered as a back order, sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms The back-order rows

The number is the part to trust first. Two cards can share a Pokémon name and a set; they should not share a set code and number, although the database holds two records for XY 011/171. When a slab label and a listing name disagree on that number, ask before you order.

Entei and the October 29, 2026 Trademark Report

On October 29, 2026 fan sites reported a Japanese trademark filing for 「マグマの鼓動」 (working English translation: Magma Heartbeat; no official English name exists), which collectors read as a possible Entei set; nothing is announced. Our trademark explainer explains what is confirmed and what is not, and the ex★ 2027 trademarks round-up sets the four reported names side by side.

Domande frequenti

How much is an Entei Pokémon card worth?

This guide gives no market value. It gives the prices at which we list Entei PSA 10 cards as of October 29, 2026, from ¥15,525 (~$101) for the S12a Entei V 213/172 print to ¥2,570,400 (~$16,691) for the 1ED PCG4 019/106 print (back orders are sourced to order; each product page shows the current terms). Which row a card belongs to depends on its number, set and edition mark.

Which Entei card has a visible PSA 10 listing?

The Mitsuhiro Arita card, XY 011/171 from The Best of XY, is currently listed at ¥41,088 (~$267) as of October 29, 2026. The other four Entei PSA 10 rows are offered as back orders.

Are these prices sold prices?

No. They are the prices at which we list each graded copy on October 29, 2026. A PSA 10 back order is sourced to order, and the product page shows the current terms.

What does 1ED mean in the Entei PCG4 019/106 listing?

1ED is how our catalogue writes the 1st Edition mark. The listing is the Entei numbered 019/106 in the Expansion Pack Golden Sky, Silvery Ocean, released on Friday, April 8, 2005, offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥2,570,400 (~$16,691), sourced to order. An Old Back card never carries a 1ED stamp.

Why is the Old Back Entei not in the official card database?

The official Japanese card database starts at the Diamond & Pearl era, so Old Back, e-series and PCG cards have no entry there. The Old Back Entei LV.24, PRMF-3 No.244, is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥66,340 (~$431). It is sourced to order, and the product page shows the current terms; its slab label and product photo are the checking surface.

Does Mitsuhiro Arita illustrate more than one Entei?

The official database credits him on XY 011/171 (two entries with identical text) and on XY7 015/081. We list the XY 011/171 card as a PSA 10; we do not list a PSA 10 for the XY7 card.
