Suicune PSA 10 in Japanese comes down to the cards below on our site, and each of them is a PSA 10 back order: the old-back neo3 No.245, the Suicune GX SR 098/095 and RR 028/095 from SM8, the Suicune V SAR 215/172 from VSTAR Universe, and the Suicune ex CLK 010/032 from Pokémon Card Game Classic (in Japanese, スイクン). This guide ranks those cards by our back-order price, highest first, as of October 29, 2026.
The ranking uses our own listed prices and nothing else. There are no marketplace figures, no sale prices and no forecasts here, and the only calculation is plain division between two of our own numbers. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD and are approximate.
- As of October 29, 2026 our Suicune back orders run from ¥252,606 (~$1,640) for the old-back neo3 No.245 down to ¥8,999 (~$58) for the Suicune ex CLK 010/032.
- The top-listed card costs about 28 times the lowest-listed one. The two SM8 Suicune GX prints share an illustrator (5ban Graphics) and an HP (180), yet their back-order prices differ by about 3.2 times.
- Each is a back order: sourced to order, and each product page shows the current terms.
The Ranking: Suicune Back Orders by Price
Each row below is a PSA 10 listing on our site, sorted from the highest back-order price to the lowest. The price in every row links to the product page, which shows the current terms.
| Rang | Card (as our listing names it) | Set | PSA 10 back order, as of October 29, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Suicune : Old Back [neo3 No.245] | Pokemon Card neo Expansion Pack “Awakening Legends” | ¥252,606 (~$1,640) |
| 2 | Suicune GX SR [SM8 098/095] | Expansion Pack “Super-Burst Impact” | ¥33,786 (~$219) |
| 3 | Suicune V SAR [s12a 215/172] | High Class Pack “VSTAR Universe” | ¥18,620 (~$121) |
| 4 | Suicune GX RR [SM8 028/095] | Expansion Pack “Super-Burst Impact” | ¥10,499 (~$68) |
| 5 | Suicune ex [CLK 010/032] | Pokemon Card Game Classic | ¥8,999 (~$58) |
Every row is offered as a PSA 10 back order — sourced to order. Nothing in the table is a sale price, and a higher back-order price here says nothing about how a card will price later. For the wider picture of Suicune prints, including cards we do not list, the Suicune Japanese cards guide is the place to start.
How This Ranking Was Built
Three rules keep the list honest.
- Our prices only. The figures are the prices on our own product pages as of October 29, 2026. Third-party prices, asking prices elsewhere and recent-sale claims are left out on purpose.
- Back orders, named as such. Each listing is a PSA 10 back order: the graded copy is sourced to order, and the product page shows the current terms. Rank 1 is therefore a statement about a listed price, not about a copy waiting on a shelf.
- Rarity letters come from the listing names. The official Japanese card database prints a number, an illustrator and an HP, but it does not print rarity letters. Where this article writes SR, SAR or RR, it is quoting our listing names (rarity letters quoted from our listing names); the Suicune ex listing carries no rarity letter, so none is given.
Where a card also appears in the official database, the illustrator and HP below come from that database. The two listings outside the database, the old-back neo3 card and the Classic Suicune ex, are not database entries, so only the details our own articles document are used for them.
For a ranking of the same kind built around a different Pokémon, the Entei, Raikou and Suicune card value guide covers the trio together.
#1: Old Back neo3 No.245
The top of the list is the oldest card: Suicune in the Old Back format, numbered neo3 No.245 in our listing and attached to the set our listing calls Pokemon Card neo Expansion Pack “Awakening Legends”. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥252,606 (~$1,640) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
Some background from our own guides explains where it sits in the timeline. Awakening Legends is the Japanese set that English players know as Neo Revelation, and it was released on Thursday, November 23, 2000. That set was the debut of the three legendary beasts in the card game, and the Neo Revelation artwork for Entei, Raikou and Suicune was drawn by Ken Sugimori. The “No.245” in the listing name also matches Suicune’s Pokédex number, which the modern database prints on every plain Suicune card as No.245 with the category label オーロラポケモン (the Aurora Pokémon).
“Old Back” is a format label, not a rarity. Our Japanese old-back guide defines it as the card back used from the October 1996 launch until Pokémon VS on Thursday, July 19, 2001, with the text ポケットモンスターカードゲーム and a copyright line at the bottom. An Old Back card never carries a 1st Edition stamp, so the absence of one on this card is normal for the format.
What our sources do not state: the Japanese card number printed on the card (the guide gives the old-back numbering only), whether it is the holo or the non-holo version, and any rarity symbol. The product page is the place to confirm those details before ordering.
#2: Suicune GX SR 098/095 (SM8)

In second place is the secret-numbered Suicune GX: 098/095, set code SM8. The number sits above the set’s printed count of 95, which is how the database marks a secret print, and our listing names it “SR”. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥33,786 (~$219) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
The official database credits 5ban Graphics and gives HP 180. Its card text is printed in Japanese; in English (rendering) it reads as follows.
| Name (as printed) | Type | Effect (rendering) |
|---|---|---|
| げんえいのかぜ | Ability | If this Pokémon is on the Bench, once during your turn you may put it and all cards attached to it back into your deck and shuffle. |
| キュアストリーム | Attack, 120 | During your opponent’s next turn, damage from attacks used by the Pokémon that received this attack is reduced by 30. |
| ブライニクルGX | GX attack, 150 | Switch this Pokémon with a Benched Pokémon. You can use only one GX attack per game. |
The rule box is the standard one for a Pokémon-GX: when it is knocked out, the opponent takes 2 Prize cards. The 028/095 print in the same set carries the identical text, so the printed number and the listing name are what change between ranks 2 and 4, not the effects.
Why does the secret number price higher in our listings? Our sources do not say, and this article does not guess at the reason. What can be said is the observable gap: the SR is listed at about 3.2 times the price of the RR from the same set.
#3: Suicune V SAR 215/172 (VSTAR Universe)

Third is the Suicune V numbered 215/172 in VSTAR Universe, set code S12a. Our listing names it “SAR”, and it is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥18,620 (~$121) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
The official database credits Atsushi Furusawa and gives HP 210. It also lists a plain Suicune V in the same set, numbered 024/172 and credited to Ayaka Yoshida, so the two S12a prints are different artworks by different illustrators, not one picture in two finishes. The 215/172 carries the same card text as the plain print. In English (rendering): the Ability しゅんそく lets you draw 1 card once during your turn while the Pokémon is in the Active Spot, and the attack ブリザードロンド does 20 damage plus 20 more for each Benched Pokémon on both sides. As a Pokémon V, its rule box gives the opponent 2 Prize cards when it is knocked out.
VSTAR Universe is a high-class pack that also holds the equivalent secret prints of the other two beasts. The S12a card list shows what we currently list from the set. Our Atsushi Furusawa artist guide covers the illustrator’s wider work.
#4: Suicune GX RR 028/095 (SM8)

Fourth is the regular-numbered Suicune GX from the same SM8 set: 028/095, which our listing names “RR”. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥10,499 (~$68) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
The database credits 5ban Graphics and gives HP 180, the same as the secret 098/095. SM8 was released on Friday, September 7, 2018, according to our legendary-beasts guide. The card text matches the SR above, so everything in the rank-2 table applies here too.
Same set, same illustrator, same HP, same text; the printed number and the listing name are what change, and in our listings that gap is about 3.2 times.
#5: Suicune ex CLK 010/032 (Classic)
The lowest back-order price on the list belongs to the Suicune ex numbered CLK 010/032 from Pokemon Card Game Classic. It is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥8,999 (~$58) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms.
What our own guide documents about the set: Pokémon Card Game Classic was a 2023 product by nendo, Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company, had an official price of ¥35,000 tax included and was offered through a lottery on Pokémon Center Online. It contains three 60-card decks — Venusaur with Lugia ex, Charizard with Ho-Oh ex, and Blastoise with Suicune ex. The Blastoise deck is the Water deck, and its Suicune ex is one of the “Legendary ex” cards with new artwork, while the starters reuse 1996 illustrations. See the Pokémon Card Game Classic guide for the full product story.
What is not documented in our sources: this card’s illustrator, a rarity symbol and its decklist position. No スイクンex entry appears among the 25 Suicune entries in the official Japanese card database, so there is no database record to quote its HP or text from. For those details, rely on the product page and on the card itself.
Being a lowest price on this list is a statement about our back-order listing as of October 29, 2026. It is not a comment on the card’s standing among collectors.
A Sealed Route to Other Suicune Prints
If a graded card is not the point and you would rather open product, a sealed box is the other way into the Suicune family. The official database lists two Suicune prints in the Shiny Star V set (S4a): the regular 033/190, credited to so-taro with HP 120, and the secret-numbered 221/190, credited to Kagemaru Himeno, also HP 120. Shiny Star V was released on Friday, November 20, 2020.

A box is a different product from a graded single: it holds sealed packs, and what comes out of those packs is not something this article can state. The box is simply the set that contains those prints. Our Shiny Star V card list and the card list hub show the set’s cards and the other sets we list.

What the Gaps Between the Prices Show
Because the prices come from one catalogue on one date, simple ratios are the only maths needed. The table below divides one listed price by another.
| Comparison | Calculation on our listed prices | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Rank 1 vs rank 5 | old-back neo3 No.245 divided by Suicune ex CLK 010/032 | about 28 times |
| Rank 1 vs rank 2 | old-back neo3 No.245 divided by GX SR 098/095 | about 7.5 times |
| Rank 2 vs rank 4 | GX SR 098/095 divided by GX RR 028/095 (same set, same illustrator) | about 3.2 times |
| Rank 2 vs rank 3 | GX SR 098/095 divided by V SAR 215/172 | about 1.8 times |
| Rank 3 vs rank 4 | V SAR 215/172 divided by GX RR 028/095 | about 1.8 times |
| Rank 4 vs rank 5 | GX RR 028/095 divided by Suicune ex CLK 010/032 | about 1.2 times |
Three things stand out. First, the list splits cleanly in two: one old-back card far above, and four modern cards within a band of about 3.8 times of each other (the SR at the top of the band, the Classic ex at the bottom). Second, the two cards with the closest prices are the lowest pair, the RR and the Classic ex. Third, the same-set pair is the only comparison where card text, illustrator and HP are identical, and it still produces a gap of about 3.2 times. In our listings, then, the printed number goes with a clear price gap even when the card’s effects are identical.
None of this predicts anything. The ratios describe October 29, 2026 only, and each product page shows the current terms.
If you would rather compare the cards by artwork than by price, the table below lines up what the database and our sources give for each card. Only the ranking order depends on price.
| Kaart | Illustrator (database) | HP (database) | Number marking |
|---|---|---|---|
| Suicune GX SM8 098/095 | 5ban Graphics | 180 | Above the set count of 95 |
| Suicune V S12a 215/172 | Atsushi Furusawa | 210 | Above the set count of 172 |
| Suicune GX SM8 028/095 | 5ban Graphics | 180 | Within the set count |

The October 29, 2026 Trademark Report
On October 29, 2026 premium.gamepedia.jp and PokeGuardian reported a Japanese trademark filing for 「オーロラの波紋」 (Aurora Ripples is a working English translation; no official English name exists), which collectors read as a possible Suicune set; nothing is announced. Our Aurora Ripples trademark and Suicune guide explains what is confirmed and what is not, and the ex★ trademark round-up covers all four names reported that day.
