If you want a Japanese 30th Celebration product today, a related set you can buy is the Unsealed MEGA Booster Box “30th CELEBRATION” (Japanese) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). It is the Japanese-edition expansion box, a different product from the Knock Out Collection, and it is covered in the “available now” section below.
What Is the Pokémon 30 Knock Out Collection?
The Pokémon 30 Knock Out Collection is a small collection product made for the Pokémon Trading Card Game’s 30th anniversary expansion, 30th Celebration. It holds two booster packs plus two extras: a foil Eevee promo card and a commemorative coin.
Its contents list is short. It has no nine-pack bundle with gameplay accessories like the Elite Trainer Box, and no poster, sticker sheet or oversize card.
Three points keep the entity clear:
- It is an English-language product announcement. The source is The Pokémon Company International’s media alert for the 30th Celebration product lineup.
- It ties to one expansion. The booster packs inside are 30th Celebration packs, the expansion that Japan calls MEGA Expansion Pack “30th CELEBRATION” (M6a).
- Its promo is fixed. The extra card is an Eevee foil promo, so the featured Pokémon is known in advance.
What Is Inside the Knock Out Collection?
The Knock Out Collection contains four physical items: two 30th Celebration booster packs, one foil promo card featuring Eevee, and one commemorative coin. That is the full contents list in the official press release, and nothing else is named.
| Item | Aantal | What the source says |
|---|---|---|
| 30th Celebration booster pack | 2 | Expansion packs; the pack section below covers what the expansion pages say about them |
| Foil promo card | 1 | Features Eevee |
| Commemorative coin | 1 | Listed as a commemorative coin |
Each piece is a separate line in the contents list. The packs hold cards from the expansion. The promo is the one card named in advance. The coin is the fourth item.
The Eevee promo
The Eevee card is the only card named for this product. The press release calls it a foil promo card featuring Eevee. It gives no card number or rarity name for the promo, and the Japanese 30th Celebration pages do not list the product at all, so treat any specific number or rarity label you see elsewhere as unsourced until the official card database lists it.
Eevee also appears across the expansion. The 30th Celebration expansion page names Eevee, Espeon and Umbreon among the cards shown for the set, which fits a product that features Eevee.
The commemorative coin
The coin is described only as one commemorative coin. The press release does not state its size, material or design, and
The two booster packs
The packs are 30th Celebration boosters. The expansion page says every card in a booster pack is foil, every pack includes a Pikachu rare card, and each pack has a Basic Energy card designed by YOSHIROTTEN. There are 30 different Pikachu rare cards, each with a different art style.
The page also carries a warning that is easy to miss: the Pikachu cards in its interactive preview are for website display only and do not reflect physical pack contents or odds. Use the preview to see the art, not to predict what a pack holds.
When Was the Knock Out Collection Released?
The Knock Out Collection’s release date is Sept. 16, 2026, at participating retailers worldwide, according to the Pokémon press release. The same page says exact launch-day timing may vary by region, so the calendar date is fixed but the hour can differ.
Several dates sit around it:
| Datum | Gebeurtenis | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Sept. 15, 2026, 10 a.m. PDT | Pokémon TCG Live players can play with the expansion | Press release |
| Sept. 16, 2026 | Knock Out Collection and the other English-language 30th Celebration products | Press release |
| Sept. 16, 2026 | Japanese expansion pack, Premium Deck Set and FUTURISTIC BOX | Japanese product page |
| Oct. 16, 2026 | Japanese Card Sets, Collection File Premium and Collection Refill | Japanese product page |
The Japanese expansion pack is a worldwide simultaneous release on Sept. 16, 2026, according to the Japanese 30th Celebration page. The English-language expansion page lists 30th Celebration as “Available now!” without an exact date. Together these sources put the Knock Out Collection’s launch on the same day as the expansion itself.

How Does the Knock Out Collection Compare With Other 30th Celebration Products?
The Knock Out Collection holds two booster packs, fewer than any of the other four English-language 30th Celebration products with listed contents, which hold three to nine. All launched on Sept. 16, 2026, and each pairs its packs with a different extra.
| Product | Booster packs | Promo cards | Other items |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knock Out Collection | 2 | 1 foil promo: Eevee | 1 commemorative coin |
| Elite Trainer Box | 9 | 1 illustration rare-style promo: Nidorina | Gameplay accessories |
| Poster Collection | 3 | Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres | 1 two-sided poster |
| Tech Sticker Collection | 3 | 1 foil promo: Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario | 1 tech sticker sheet |
| Pokémon ex Box | 4 | 1 promo: Sylveon ex or Greninja ex | 1 oversize card |
Read the table as a choice between extras. The Knock Out Collection is the only one of the five that lists a coin and an Eevee card. The Elite Trainer Box holds the most packs, nine. The Poster Collection is the one with three promo cards and a poster.
The promo is also fixed here. The Tech Sticker Collection gives either Alolan Exeggutor or Lucario, and the Pokémon ex Box gives either Sylveon ex or Greninja ex. The Knock Out Collection names a single card, Eevee, so there is no either-or.
The press release does not give prices for any of these products, so this guide does not compare cost.
Which Collection Suits Which Collector?
The Knock Out Collection suits collectors who care most about the Eevee promo and the coin, while the other four products suit collectors who care more about pack count or accessories. With two packs it has the smallest pack count of the five.
| Your goal | Product from the press release | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Eevee promo and a coin | Knock Out Collection | The one product of the five listing both |
| Most booster packs | Elite Trainer Box | Nine packs |
| Three legendary bird promos and a poster | Poster Collection | Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres plus a two-sided poster |
| A sticker sheet | Tech Sticker Collection | One tech sticker sheet and a choice-of-two promo |
| An oversize card | Pokémon ex Box | One oversize card, four packs, Sylveon ex or Greninja ex promo |
The Knock Out Collection fits three kinds of collector:
- You collect Eevee. The foil Eevee promo is named in the contents.
- You like commemorative items. The coin is unique to this product among the listed contents.
- You want a small set of packs. Two packs and two extras is a compact product.
If you are unsure what an “ex” card is, our guide What Does ex Mean on Pokémon Cards? explains the labels you will see on cards such as Pikachu ex and Mew ex.

How Should You Read the 30th Celebration Lineup Step by Step?
Read the lineup in four steps: identify the region, the product name, the contents list and the date. Doing it in that order stops the most common mix-up, which is treating an English-language collection product and a Japanese-edition product as the same thing.
- Region. The Knock Out Collection comes from an English-language announcement by The Pokémon Company International. The Japanese edition has its own site and its own product list.
- Product name. Five English-language products have contents listed in the press release: Knock Out Collection, Elite Trainer Box, Poster Collection, Tech Sticker Collection and Pokémon ex Box. The Japanese list shows the expansion pack, Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon, FUTURISTIC BOX, Card Sets, Collection File Premium and Collection Refill.
- Contents. Compare the number of packs, the promo cards and the extras with the lists in this guide.
- Date. English-language products launched Sept. 16, 2026. Japanese products launched Sept. 16 or Oct. 16, 2026, depending on the product.
The two lineups overlap in theme (both revolve around the 30th anniversary, Pikachu and the YOSHIROTTEN-designed Basic Energy), but they are not mirror images. The Japanese page lists a FUTURISTIC BOX with a JPY 27,500 official price; the English press release lists no product by that name.
What the two lineups share
Both regions share the expansion’s core promise: every pack includes a Pikachu card, and each pack includes a Basic Energy designed by YOSHIROTTEN. Both also feature Mew ex with futuristic art by YOSHIROTTEN. On the Japanese page, Mew ex and Mewtwo ex are listed as FUR (Futuristic Rare) cards with art by YOSHIROTTEN; the English page names Mew ex with futuristic art by YOSHIROTTEN.
What differs
Pack contents are described differently. The Japanese page says six foil kaarten per pack with a random insert. The English page says every card is foil but does not give a card count. The Japanese page also describes a block of 30 special-format 30th-anniversary cards; the English pages describe classic reprints such as Charizard from Base Set. Treat them as two descriptions of one anniversary, not as one checklist.
| Topic | English-language sources | Japanese sources |
|---|---|---|
| Knock Out Collection | Listed: two packs, Eevee foil promo, commemorative coin | Not on the product list |
| Cards per pack | Every card foil; no count given | Six foil kaarten per pack |
| Pikachu | Every pack includes a Pikachu rare; 30 different Pikachu rares | One Pikachu card in every pack; 30 Pikachu foil cards by 30 illustrators |
| Basic Energy | One per pack, designed by YOSHIROTTEN | One per pack, eight types, designed by YOSHIROTTEN |
| Futuristic art | Mew ex | Mew ex and Mewtwo ex (FUR) |
What Do the Booster packs in the Knock Out Collection Contain?
The 30th Celebration booster packs are all-foil packs with a Pikachu rare card in every pack and a YOSHIROTTEN-designed Basic Energy. The official expansion page states each of these points.
| Pack feature | What the source says | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Foil cards | Every card in a booster pack is foil | Pokémon TCG |
| Pikachu | Every pack includes a Pikachu rare card; 30 different Pikachu rares, each with a different art style | Pokémon TCG |
| Energy | Each pack has a Basic Energy card designed by YOSHIROTTEN | Pokémon TCG |
| Japanese pack | Six foil kaarten per pack, randomly inserted; one Pikachu card in every pack; one Basic Energy in every pack, in eight types (Grass, Fire, Water, Lightning, Psychic, Fighting, Darkness, Metal) | Japanese 30th Celebration page |
The last row describes the Japanese pack. It is the same expansion, but the Japanese page is the one that states six foil kaarten per pack. The English page gives no card count, so do not carry the number six over to the English packs.
With two packs, the Pikachu rule matters: each pack includes a Pikachu rare card, so the pair includes two Pikachu rares.
Which cards does the official page name?
The expansion page names Pikachu ex (2M6P_EN_53), Nidorina, Unown, Slowpoke, Ho-Oh, Eevee, Espeon, Umbreon and Mew ex with futuristic art by YOSHIROTTEN. It also lists classic reprints: Charizard (Base Set), Erika’s Jigglypuff (Gym Challenge), Scizor ex (EX Unseen Forces), N (Black & White-Noble Victories), Greninja BREAK (XY-BREAKpoint), Pikachu & Zekrom-GX (Sun & Moon-Team Up) and Magikarp (Scarlet & Violet-Paldea Evolved).
These are the cards the expansion highlights. They do not tell you what a given pack holds, and the page does not say the Knock Out Collection’s packs include any specific one of them.
Does the Knock Out Collection Exist in Japan?
The Japanese 30th Celebration product list does not include a product called Knock Out Collection. The Japanese lineup shows the expansion pack, a Premium Deck Set, the FUTURISTIC BOX and a series of Card Sets.
| Japanese product | Release date | Official price |
|---|---|---|
| Expansion Pack “30th CELEBRATION” | Sept. 16, 2026 | JPY 360 (tax included) |
| Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon | Sept. 16, 2026 | JPY 6,200 |
| FUTURISTIC BOX | Sept. 16, 2026 | JPY 27,500 |
| Card Sets (for example Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle; Chikorita, Cyndaquil, Totodile) | Oct. 16, 2026 | JPY 1,200 each |
| Collection File Premium | Oct. 16, 2026 | JPY 2,420 |
| Collection Refill | Oct. 16, 2026 | JPY 700 |
All figures come from the Japanese product page for the expansion and the Japanese product list. The product list page gives names, prices and dates only and carries no card lists.
The Japanese pack also has a set of special-format cards. The Japanese page describes 30 special 30th-anniversary cards, including Pikachu, Charizard, Lugia, Gengar, Rayquaza EX and Mew VMAX, numbered m6a_136 to 165. These cards cannot be used in the current Standard regulation, though they can be used in the regulations where the original cards are legal. That description belongs to the Japanese pack; the English press release does not mention it for the Knock Out Collection.

How Does the Eevee Promo Connect to Other 30th Celebration Cards?
The Eevee promo is a foil card, and the official 30th Celebration material also features Eevee’s evolutions Espeon and Umbreon. The English expansion page names all three, and the Japanese lineup includes a Premium Deck Set Espeon & Umbreon. A collector who wants Eevee-family cards finds several official touchpoints across the anniversary.
Those touchpoints are separate products. The Japanese Premium Deck Set is not the Knock Out Collection, and the Eevee promo is not described as part of that deck set. Keep the product names distinct when you search, because the 30th Celebration has many items.

Which 30th Celebration and Other Sets Are Available Now While You Wait?
These Japanese-edition sets are available now as related products, and none of them is the Knock Out Collection. The 30th Celebration items are a Japanese booster box and a Futuristic Box; the others are PSA 10 graded singles from Inferno X and M5.
| Related set | Product | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| 30th Celebration (M6a) | Unsealed MEGA Booster Box “30th CELEBRATION” (Japanese) (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order) | The Japanese-edition expansion pack box |
| 30th Celebration | 30th CELEBRATION FUTURISTIC BOX Japanese Pokemon Card – Damaged Box | Unopened Japanese product with cosmetic damage to the outer packaging; photos are samples; sold as-is under our damaged-item terms |
| Inferno X (M2) | PSA10 Toxtricity AR [M2 089/080] and second listing | PSA 10 graded Toxtricity AR from Expansion Pack “Inferno X” |
| M5 (Abyss Eye) | PSA10 MEGA Darkrai ex SAR [M5 114/081] and PSA10 MEGA Zeraora ex SAR [M5 112/081] | PSA 10 graded SAR cards from Expansion Pack “Abyss Eye” |
The 30th Celebration box and the Futuristic Box belong to the same anniversary as the Knock Out Collection. The Futuristic Box listing is a damaged-box version, so read its description before you order. The graded cards come from other sets and say nothing about the Knock Out Collection’s contents.
How Do Shipping and Payment Work for Japanese Sealed Products?
Orders ship by FedEx, with standard shipping usually taking 3-7 business days after dispatch and expedited shipping 2-5 business days. Both are estimates, and neither includes handling time.
| Item | What the policy says |
|---|---|
| Standard shipping | FedEx International Connect Plus, with tracking number; usually 3-7 business days after dispatch |
| Expedited shipping | FedEx International Priority, with tracking number; usually 2-5 business days after dispatch |
| Shipping cost | Calculated automatically at checkout from your delivery address |
| Handling | Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared; this is an estimate |
| Adres | FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes; give a physical address |
| Currency | All payments are made in Japanese yen |
| Wise-bankoverschrijving | No payment processing fee |
| PayPal and cards through PayPal | A 5% payment processing fee applies |
The details are on the shipping policy and the payment methods page. After handoff to FedEx, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities, including customs processing.
The policy also says that delivery dates shown on the website, at checkout or in carrier tools are estimates only. They do not include handling time, pre-order release timing, supplier allocation delays, quality inspection holds, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather or destination-country delivery conditions.

How Can You Tell You Have the Right Product?
Match the name and the contents to the press release. The Knock Out Collection’s official contents are two booster packs, one Eevee foil promo card and one commemorative coin, and a product with different contents is a different item.
- Name. The product is the 30th Celebration Knock Out Collection, not the Elite Trainer Box, Poster Collection, Tech Sticker Collection or Pokémon ex Box.
- Contents. Two packs, one Eevee foil promo, one commemorative coin.
- Language. The press release is an English-language announcement. The Japanese lineup is a separate list of products with no Knock Out item.
- Promo wording. Any card number or rarity label attached to the Eevee promo is unsourced.
The 30th Celebration has many products with similar names and overlapping extras, and matching the contents to the press release list is the quickest way to avoid mixing them up.
