Salamence ex SAR 133/103: 30th Celebration Card Guide

Salamence ex SAR 133/103: 30th Celebration Card Guide

Salamence ex closes out 30th CELEBRATION’s SAR block at the highest number in the tier: 133/103. It’s a Dragon-type attacker with no listed Weakness or Resistance at all — unusual in a set built almost entirely around type match-ups — and it was one of the cards PokeBeach revealed on 4 September 2026, ahead of the full set-list publication five days later.

Here’s what’s confirmed about Salamence ex 133/103: its numbering and status inside the SAR block, the attack text it shares with the regular 088/103 print, and what comparable graded Salamence prints are currently listed at. Samurai Sword Tokyo ships Japanese sealed product and singles out of Tokyo, and every price below is dated and sourced — not a guess about an unreleased card.

Key Takeaways

Salamence ex carries the SAR (Special Art Rare) treatment at 133/103 in M6a 30th CELEBRATION, the highest-numbered card in the ten-card SAR tier and one of seven already revealed via official images. The regular Salamence ex print is 088/103, illustrated by 5ban Graphics. Its Japanese SAR counterpart from Battle Partners (SV9) is currently listed in our PSA10 collection: PSA10 Salamence ex SAR (SV9 129/100) at ¥10,709 (~$70).

What Is Salamence ex SAR 133/103?

The official card list for 30th CELEBRATION (M6a) was published on 9 September 2026 and covers the main set 001–103, the Classic Collection 136–165 and the eight Basic Energy. Salamence ex’s regular print, 088/103, is inside that officially listed main set. Its SAR, 133/103, is not — the AR/SAR/FUR block spanning 104–135 is compiled from official promotional images and PokeBeach’s set-list article, and Salamence ex was one of the AR/SAR cards PokeBeach’s 4 September 2026 coverage revealed, ahead of the 9 September full-list publication.

As with every AR/SAR/FUR card in this set, the SAR illustrator is not published — only the regular 088/103 print carries a credited illustrator (5ban Graphics, per the official database).

Card Details: Attacks and Stats

Salamence ex SAR 133/103 shares its full attack text with the regular 088/103 print, per PokeBeach’s 9 September 2026 translation of the official card list:

Attribute Detail
Card number 133/103 (SAR); regular print 088/103
Type Dragon
HP 330
Stage Stage 2, evolves from Shelgon
Attack 1 [C] Booming Call — put up to 3 Dragon Pokémon from your discard pile onto your Bench
Attack 2 [R][W] Dragon Pulse — 240 damage, discard the top 2 cards of your deck
Weakness none
Resistance none
Retreat cost 2

At 330 HP, Salamence ex is one of the tankiest attackers in the set, and Dragon Pulse’s 240 damage is enough to knock out most non-ex Pokémon in one hit for just two Energy types. Booming Call also lets a Dragon-heavy deck refill its Bench from the discard pile, which matters because Salamence ex is a Stage 2 — it needs Bagon and Shelgon in play first.

Where Salamence ex Sits in the SAR Block

30th CELEBRATION’s SAR tier runs 124–133, one card per each of the set’s ten Pokémon ex — and Salamence ex, at 133, is the highest number in that block. Seven SAR cards are shown as of 11 September 2026; three (128 Mewtwo ex, 129 Mew ex, 131 Gengar ex) are expected but not yet shown anywhere.

Nr. Karte Status
124 Fuecoco ex shown
125 Greninja ex shown
126 Pikachu ex (day) shown
127 Pikachu ex (night) shown
128 Mewtwo ex expected, not yet shown
129 Mew ex expected, not yet shown
130 Sylveon ex shown
131 Gengar ex expected, not yet shown
132 Jirachi ex shown
133 Salamence ex shown

The wider secret-rare run also includes 20 AR cards (104–123) and two FUR cards (134–135, Mewtwo ex and Mew ex, both by YOSHIROTTEN). For the full numbering logic across every block, see our 30th CELEBRATION secret-rare numbering guide.

The No-Weakness Attacker

Salamence ex is notable within this main set for having neither a Weakness nor a Resistance listed — most Pokémon ex in 30th CELEBRATION carry at least a Weakness that doubles incoming damage from a specific type. That makes Salamence ex more consistent to keep on the field across different match-ups, though it doesn’t change what’s on the card itself: same stats and text apply to both the regular 088/103 print and the SAR 133/103, rarity aside.

The only difference between the two printings is presentational: the SAR trades the regular print’s standard card-frame artwork for a full-bleed illustration extending past the card’s usual borders. Either copy plays identically in a constructed deck.

What Graded Salamence Prints Are Listed At Today

M6a hasn’t released, so there’s no real sale or graded population to cite for Salamence ex 133/103 yet. Our own PSA10 collection currently lists graded Salamence prints, both from the Japanese SV9 Battle Partners set:

Separately, SNKRDUNK — a Japanese resale marketplace — showed a lowest live asking price of ¥4,000 for that same SV9 129/100 SAR (49 listings) and ¥1,000 for the SR (11 listings) as of 11 September 2026. Asking prices are seller listings, not sales, and none of that data tells you anything about 133/103’s price after the set releases — it’s a different card from a different set, and there’s no comparable data for an unreleased Japanese secret rare.

M6a 30th CELEBRATION: Release Format

The confirmed facts, direct from Pokémon’s official card-list announcement and product page:

  • Worldwide simultaneous release: Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
  • Pack price: ¥360 tax-in, 6 foil Karten pro Pack.
  • Box configuration: 20 packs for ¥7,200 tax-in.
