Twilight Masquerade never had its own Japanese set. Every chase card on this list, from the Ogerpon masks to Perrin’s Special Illustration Rare, traces back to one of two earlier Japanese releases — and each one carries a different card number, a different set code, and in most cases a different rarity label on the print itself.
Twilight Masquerade (Limitless code TWM) released in English on May 24, 2024 with 226 cards. In Japan, that content shipped as two separate products months earlier: SV6 Mask of Change (変幻の仮面, listed on our store as SV6–Transformation Mask) on April 26, 2024, and SV5a Crimson Haze on March 22, 2024. Our highest-priced own PSA 10 from this pairing is Perrin, SV5a 092/066 Special Art Rare (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order), currently listed at ¥44,374 (~$279). Seven of the twelve chase cards trace back to SV6 Mask of Change; the other five come from SV5a Crimson Haze. How We Ranked These
We built this list in two passes. First, we pulled every card from this pairing that we currently list as a graded PSA 10 and ordered those by our listed price — that puts Perrin (SAR) and Lana’s Aid (SR) at the top of the list. Second, we filled in the remaining chase cards by print rarity tier: Ultra Rare / Hyper Rare gold cards first, then Special Art Rare / Special Illustration Rare, then the full-art Secret Rare tier.
We are not quoting TCGplayer, eBay, or PriceCharting figures anywhere in this article. Where we’ve been able to directly compare the Japanese and English scans, we say so below. For the rest, these are the same card and the same set lineage, but we haven’t confirmed the artwork is pixel-for-pixel identical, so we don’t claim it is.
1. Perrin — TWM 220/167 Special Illustration Rare
Japanese equivalent: SV5a 092/066, Special Art Rare, illustrated by GIDORA. We’ve compared the two scans directly and the artwork is identical between the Japanese and English printings. Perrin is a Supporter that lets you reveal up to two Pokemon from your hand, shuffle them into your deck, then search for that many Pokemon — a core deck-thinning card that drove demand for this print. It also has a lower-tier Secret Rare printing at SV5a 087, mapped to TWM 209.

2. Lana’s Aid — TWM 207 Ultra Rare (full art)
Japanese equivalent: SV5a 088/066, Secret Rare, illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa. This is the second confirmed identical-artwork pair in our comparison — the Japanese and English scans match. Lana’s Aid is a Supporter that returns up to three cards — any combination of non-Rule-Box Pokemon and Basic Energy — from your discard pile to hand. There’s also a Special Art Rare printing of the same card at SV5a 093, mapped to TWM 219.

3. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex — TWM 221 Hyper Rare (gold)
Japanese equivalent: SV6 131/101, Ultra Rare, illustrated by 5ban Graphics. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is a Basic Grass-type with 210 HP and the Teal Dance Ability. We haven’t directly compared the gold foil treatment on this Hyper Rare against the Japanese Ultra Rare scan, so we won’t call the artwork identical — only that it’s the same Pokemon at the top rarity tier of each set.

4. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex — TWM 222 Hyper Rare (gold)
Japanese equivalent: SV5a 094/066, Ultra Rare, illustrated by aky CG Works. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex is a Colorless-type with 260 HP and the Blood Moon attack for 240 damage. As with the Ogerpon Hyper Rare above, we haven’t confirmed the gold English print matches the Japanese Ultra Rare artwork one-for-one.

5. Teal Mask Ogerpon ex — TWM 211 Special Illustration Rare
Japanese equivalent: SV6 125/101, Special Art Rare, illustrated by Yano Keiji. This is the same 210 HP Grass-type card as entry 3, printed at the Special Art Rare tier rather than the top Ultra Rare tier — the one most sets treat as the «chase» print because it appears well ahead of the true secret in pack order.

6. Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon ex — TWM 212 Special Illustration Rare
Japanese equivalent: SV6 126/101, Special Art Rare, illustrated by Yano Keiji — the same artist as the Teal Mask SAR above. Hearthflame Mask Ogerpon ex is a Fire-type with 210 HP.

7. Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex — TWM 213 Special Illustration Rare
Japanese equivalent: SV6 127/101, Special Art Rare, completing the third of the four Ogerpon mask forms in this pairing.

9. Greninja ex — TWM 214 Special Illustration Rare
Japanese equivalent: SV5a 090/066, Special Art Rare, illustrated by akagi. Greninja ex is a Fighting-type with 310 HP, one of the highest HP totals of any Special Art Rare in this pairing.

10. Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex — TWM 216 Special Illustration Rare

Japanese vs English: What Changes
Twilight Masquerade is built entirely from two Japanese sets, and the differences show up in three places once you compare them side by side. Full mapping is in our Twilight Masquerade Japanese card list; here’s the short version.

Timing. Both Japanese sets released ahead of the English compilation — SV5a by roughly nine weeks, SV6 by about four. Anyone buying Japanese sealed product for these chase cards was already able to pull them before Twilight Masquerade existed in English.
Numbering. Every card gets a new number when it moves into the English set. Perrin sits at SV5a 092/066 in Japan and TWM 220/167 in English — different denominators, different position, same card. The Ogerpon masks follow the same pattern: SV6 125–128 become TWM 211–215 (with a gap where a card was skipped in the renumbering).
Coverage. Per PokeBeach’s set-list reporting, only three Illustration Rares were cut when compiling the two Japanese sets into Twilight Masquerade: Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. Everything else you’d pull from an SV6 or SV5a Japanese box has an English-set counterpart. For Perrin and Lana’s Aid, yes — we’ve compared the scans directly and they match. For the Hyper Rare gold cards (Teal Mask Ogerpon ex and Bloodmoon Ursaluna ex), we haven’t confirmed the gold English treatment matches the Japanese Ultra Rare print, so we don’t claim it does.
Does Twilight Masquerade include every card from SV6 and SV5a?
Almost. Per PokeBeach’s set-list reporting, only three Illustration Rares were cut in the move from Japanese to English: Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. Everything else carries over with a new card number.
