Mega Attack Rare (MA) Pokemon Cards: Complete Japanese List, MEGA Dream ex to 2027

What a Mega Attack Rare Is, per the Official Page

The MEGA Dream ex product page on pokemon-card.com introduces MA as a new rarity (「新たなレアリティMA(メガアタックレア)が登場！」) with mirror-finish cards (「豪華ミラー仕様のカードを収録！」), alongside the AR and SAR rarities the pack also carries; every MA card the database lists is a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex. The visual signature is the attack name set in oversized lettering across the illustration — on the four Parade renders, the Rayquaza card carries STORM EMERALDA across its art, the attack the card already has in its Storm Emeralda print.

In the official card database the ten MEGA Dream ex MA cards sit in the secret block above the 193-card main set, after the Art Rares and Super Rares and before the Special Art Rares and the single Mega Ultra Rare. Where the database holds other prints of the same card, the MA version carries identical text, HP and attacks under a new illustration. That is the pattern the four Parade renders repeat, which is why they can be read as MA versions of 2026 cards before any official list exists.

The 4 MEGA x MEGA Parade Mega Attack Rares Shown So Far

On August 31, 2026 the Pokémon Company’s Japanese and English YouTube channels posted their ex★ reveal videos after the World Championships, and pokemon.com’s closing-ceremony recap named “Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Rayquaza ex” as Mega Attack Rares shown. The English video’s caption reads “Cards shown are under development and may differ from the final products.” The renders print the code m7a, numbers over 165, regulation mark J and a 2027 copyright line; Pokébeach’s August 31 article places them in “what is presumably February’s MEGA x MEGA Parade”, so the set placement is reported while the cards are official.

How many MA cards the Parade set holds in total is not confirmed; the numbering gaps between 208 and 218 leave room for more, and the official product page did not exist as of October 1, 2026. The MEGA x MEGA Parade Mega Attack Rare guide goes through the four cards one by one, and the card list tracker adds rows as cards are shown.

The Print Each MA Card Re-Illustrates

For the four Parade cards the source print is in the official database, with the same HP and attacks the renders show. Each has a Double Rare in its 2026 expansion’s main set and a Super Rare, a Special Art Rare and a Mega Ultra Rare in the secret block.

Mega Attack Rares in English

Bulbapedia states that “The Mega attack rare rarity is a new type of card rarity introduced in the Ascended Heroes expansion, originally released in the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset”, and that Ascended Heroes, released January 30, 2026, “includes cards from the Japanese MEGA Dream ex subset and the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection.” Bulbapedia’s statement covers the rarity; of the ten cards, the pairings on file are Mega Lucario ex 228 with MEP Promo 033, Mega Gengar ex 230 with Ascended Heroes 269 and Mega Hawlucha ex 229 with Ascended Heroes 116, each by the same illustrator credit per Bulbapedia and Limitless (October 1, 2026). Our MEGA x MEGA Parade English release article covers the record for the four Parade cards; no English counterpart had been announced as of October 1, 2026.
