MEGA x MEGA Parade Pokemon Set: Release Date, Revealed Cards & Pre-Order Guide (Updated October 1, 2026)

The MEGA x MEGA Parade release date is the first question collectors ask about ハイクラスパック「MEGA×MEGA パレード」, the Japanese high class pack that Pokébeach reported on August 25, 2026 as the next set of its kind after MEGA Dream ex. As of October 1, 2026 the official Pokémon Card Game site lists no product page for it, so every date, price and pack figure here carries its source label: official, reported, or not confirmed.

What is official is narrower than the headlines suggest. The Pokémon Company’s own video of August 31, 2026 showed four Mega Attack Rare cards — Mega Greninja ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Darkrai ex and Mega Rayquaza ex — and pokemon.com’s Worlds recap named them in writing. Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, the pair Pokébeach says the set is built around, exist officially only as game Pokémon on pokemon.co.jp; no card for either had been shown as of October 1, 2026.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo; prices use ¥154/USD, verified October 1, 2026. Sourcing requests for MEGA x MEGA Parade go through Ordine rapido; the previous high class pack, MEGA Dream ex, is currently listed.

What Is MEGA x MEGA Parade?

MEGA x MEGA Parade is the working English name of ハイクラスパック「MEGA×MEGA パレード」, a Japanese Pokémon Card Game product that has so far surfaced through a trademark, a Pokébeach report and one official video. “High class pack” is the Pokémon Card Game’s own label for its year-end style special set: a ¥550 pack with 10 cards instead of the regular five-card ¥180–¥220 pack, filled mostly with re-illustrated versions of cards from the preceding year plus a run of new secret rares. MEGA Dream ex (set code M2a, released November 28, 2025) is the most recent example and the only one with an official page to compare against.

Detail Reported figure Source / status
Japanese product name ハイクラスパック「MEGA×MEGA パレード」 Trademark reported by Pokébeach (July 1, 2026); no official product page as of October 1, 2026

Main-set size 165 (denominator /165) Printed on the same renders; the official caption reads “Cards shown are under development and may differ from the final products”

The name itself is the clearest hint about the contents. Pokébeach wrote that “it’s possible the set name is referring to the pair” of Raichu Mega Evolutions, and that “the set will also feature many other Mega Evolutions, as its name implies.” The four cards shown so far are all Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, which fits that reading.

Release Date: Official Post vs Reports vs Retailer Listings

Three kinds of date are in circulation, and only one of them is a report from a named outlet with a track record. The official Pokémon Card Game site, the official X account and the Pokémon Center online store carried nothing for the product as of October 1, 2026; the site search returns no page, and the address pattern used for other sets returns a 404 for this one.

  • Reported: Friday, February 19, 2027. Pokébeach’s August 25, 2026 article states “We can now reveal MEGA x MEGA Parade (MEGA x MEGA パレード) will release in Japan on Friday, February 19th!” The same report gives the ¥550 pack and the 10-card count.
  • Retailer listings: 2027/2/17 and February 19, 2027. A Yahoo! Shopping Japan store prints 「発売予定日:2027/2/17」 on a box listing with the note 「メーカー都合により発売日が変更になる場合がございます」 (the date may change at the maker’s discretion); an export retailer prints “February 19, 2027” with a disclaimer that it is based on reports. A separate listing screenshot shared on X showed 「発売予定日:2026/12/15」 for a five-pack bundle. Retailer dates are placeholders until the official page prints one.
  • Official: pending. The pattern from MEGA Dream ex is that the product page appears on pokemon-card.com with 発売日 and 希望小売価格 before retailers start taking reservations; that page is the only source we treat as the release date.
Where to check for the official date

The product section of pokemon-card.com and the official @pokemon_cojp account. When either prints a date, the reported figure is replaced and the update log records the change. Our card list tracker follows the card reveals the same way.

Why February matters: the four previous high class packs released in the first week of December (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) or late November (2025). Pokébeach’s May 25, 2026 schedule had already pencilled Japan’s next high class pack into a later slot, and its August 25 report fixed it at February 19, 2027. Pokébeach’s own reading is that the date was pushed to make room for the worldwide 30th CELEBRATION launch in September 2026; that is the outlet’s interpretation, not an official statement.

Box and Pack Structure

The reported pack is the standard high class format: ¥550, 10 cards, one hit card per pack. The official MEGA Dream ex page describes its own pack as 「希望小売価格:550円(税込)」 and 「カード10枚入り」, and the four earlier high class packs print the same price. Nothing official exists yet for the Parade pack, so the sentence to hold onto is that the reported figures match the format of every high class pack since 2021.

Shiny Treasure ex (sv4a) December 1, 2023 ¥550 10 One Pokémon ex per pack
Terastal Festival ex (sv8a) December 6, 2024 ¥550 10 One Pokémon ex per pack
MEGA Dream ex (M2a) November 28, 2025 ¥550 10 None printed (「カードはランダムに封入されています」)
MEGA x MEGA Parade Reported: February 19, 2027 Reported: ¥550 Reported: 10 Reported: one hit card per pack

Packs per box is the figure most buyers want and the one no official page prints, for this set or for MEGA Dream ex. Bulbapedia states that the Terastal Festival ex and MEGA Dream ex boxes hold 10 packs, which is a wiki statement rather than an official one; our box guide works through the arithmetic as a conditional. Carton configuration is likewise not confirmed.

The Four Mega Attack Rares Shown So Far

On August 31, 2026 (12:52 JST), the official Pokémon YouTube channel posted the video 「【公式】ポケモンカードゲーム「ex★」」 following the 2026 Pokémon World Championships, and the English channel posted “NEW ex★ Series & Mega Lucario Z ex Reveal”. Both videos include four Mega Attack Rare cards, and pokemon.com’s closing-ceremony recap names them: “Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Zygarde ex, Mega Greninja ex, and Mega Rayquaza ex”. The official caption on the English video reads “Cards shown are under development and may differ from the final products.”

Which set they belong to is reported, not official. Pokébeach’s August 31 article says the cards come “from what is presumably February’s MEGA x MEGA Parade”, and the renders carry the code m7a with numbers above a 165-card main set, which is the pattern of a high class pack’s secret-rare block. The card text printed on the renders matches the cards’ existing Japanese prints, which is how Mega Attack Rares worked in MEGA Dream ex: a re-illustrated version of a card already in the game.

The Mega Attack Rare rarity was introduced by MEGA Dream ex, whose official page describes it as a new rarity of Mega Evolution Pokémon ex with special artwork and a mirror finish. That set carried ten MA cards, numbered 223/193 through 232/193. The four Parade renders use the same oversized attack-name lettering across the artwork; the name printed on the Rayquaza render, STORM EMERALDA, is the attack the card already has in its M6 print. Our Mega Attack Rare guide covers each of the four cards, their existing prints and our PSA 10 listings in detail.

Collectors who want the same four cards now, in their 2026 prints, have a graded route. The Mega Greninja ex SAR 114/083 is offered as a PSA 10 back order at ¥25,918 (~$168) — sourced to order; the product page shows the current terms. Mega Zygarde ex MUR 117/080 (PSA 10 back order, ¥38,454 (~$250)), Mega Darkrai ex SAR 114/081 (PSA 10 back order, ¥31,314 (~$203)) and Mega Rayquaza ex SAR 110/076 (PSA 10 back order, ¥91,453 (~$594)) follow the same route, explained on our PSA 10 back order page.

Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y: What Is Official

Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y are official as game Pokémon and reported as the set’s headliners. The Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A 『M次元ラッシュ』 (Mega Dimension) page on pokemon.co.jp introduces both forms with their classification, type, height and weight; the English Mega Dimension page on legends.pokemon.com says “you’ll be able to meet Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, two newly discovered Mega-Evolved Pokémon. These two Mega Evolutions of Raichu each Mega Evolve using a different Mega Stone.” The Mega Dimension content released on December 10, 2025 per the Pokémon Company’s press release.

Mega Raichu Y official artwork from the Pokemon LEGENDS Z-A Mega Dimension site

メガライチュウY — ねずみポケモン, でんき, 1.0 m, 26.0 kg
Mega Stone: ライチュウナイトY (official)

The official Japanese page describes Mega Raichu X as floating by electromagnetic force and concentrating electricity into its fists for a single heavy blow, with the two tails generating the repelling field that keeps it airborne. Mega Raichu Y is described as the quick-strike form: the cheek sacs grow stronger and the current is amplified through the head and tail into a powerful discharge, with a rough and combative temperament. Those descriptions are everything that is official about the pair as of October 1, 2026; no Mega Raichu X or Y card, rarity or illustrator has been shown, and the official card database holds no メガライチュウ row.

Images of a gold “メガライチュウX” card have circulated on X. The printed code on that image is m2a 250/193, the number of Mega Dragonite ex MUR in the official MEGA Dream ex list, so it is a fan-made mock-up rather than a reveal. Our leaked images vs official article walks through every circulating image, and the Mega Raichu X and Y guide collects the Raichu prints we list while the pair waits for a card.

The gap between the trademark and the first report was about eight weeks, and the gap between the report and the first official card images was six days. If the MEGA Dream ex pattern holds, the next official step is a product page with the date and price, followed by card reveals on the official site and X account through the winter. Each of those steps lands in the update log, dated to the day it happens.

How It Compares With MEGA Dream ex and Earlier High Class Packs

MEGA Dream ex is the yardstick. Its official page prints the November 28, 2025 release and the ¥550, 10-card pack; the official card database lists 250 cards with a 193-card main set, and the 57 cards above 193 break down as 20 AR, 9 SR, 10 MA, 17 SAR and 1 MUR. The Parade renders imply a 165-card main set, which is smaller than MEGA Dream ex’s 193 and closer to the 190 of Shiny Treasure ex or the 184 of VMAX Climax, with the usual caveat that the renders are under development.

📩 MembriArriva primo quando aprono i pre-order

Two things carried over from MEGA Dream ex are visible already: the Mega Attack Rare rarity, and the practice of re-illustrating Mega Evolution ex cards from the year’s expansions. The four cards shown come from four different 2026 sets (Nihil Zero, Ninja Spinner, Abyss Eye, Storm Emeralda), which is the spread you would expect from a pack that revisits the whole year. Our MEGA x MEGA Parade vs MEGA Dream ex comparison lays the two sets side by side, and the MEGA Dream ex complete guide covers the 2025 set on its own.

For English-language collectors, the record is consistent: VSTAR Universe became Crown Zenith (January 20, 2023), Shiny Treasure ex became Paldean Fates (January 26, 2024), Terastal Festival ex became Prismatic Evolutions (January 17, 2025) and MEGA Dream ex became Ascended Heroes (January 30, 2026), per Bulbapedia’s set pages. No English counterpart of MEGA x MEGA Parade has been announced as of October 1, 2026, and we do not give a date of our own.

Japanese Lotteries and Pre-Orders

Japanese pre-orders for a high class pack follow the official product page, not the other way round. For MEGA Dream ex, the Pokémon Center Online store ran a lottery (抽選) for boxes, and retail chains took reservations in store and online once the maker’s date and price were printed. Until the Parade product page exists, every “予約” button is a placeholder on a reported date, and the printed retailer dates already disagree with each other (2027/2/17 versus February 19, 2027).

For buyers outside Japan, the practical route is the same as it was for MEGA Dream ex: a sourcing request through Ordine rapido now, and a listing on our store once the product is available to us. We do not quote a price or an allocation for the set before it is listed. The pre-order guide explains the lottery system, the retailer placeholders and what a sourcing request does and does not commit either side to.

Domande frequenti

When is the MEGA x MEGA Parade release date?

The reported Japanese release date is Friday, February 19, 2027, from Pokébeach’s August 25, 2026 article. The official Pokémon Card Game site had not listed the product as of October 1, 2026, and retailer listings print placeholder dates that differ from each other, so the official date is still pending.

How much does a MEGA x MEGA Parade pack or box cost in Japan?

Pokébeach reports a ¥550 pack with 10 cards, the same format as every Japanese high class pack since 2021. No official price exists yet, and no official page prints packs per box for this set or for MEGA Dream ex, so a box price cannot be stated as of October 1, 2026.

What cards have been revealed for MEGA x MEGA Parade so far?

Four Mega Attack Rare cards were shown in the Pokémon Company’s August 31, 2026 video: Mega Greninja ex 208/165, Mega Zygarde ex 214/165, Mega Darkrai ex 217/165 and Mega Rayquaza ex 218/165, all on under-development renders that print a 165-card denominator. Their set placement is reported by Pokébeach, not stated officially.

Is there a Mega Raichu X or Mega Raichu Y card yet?

No. Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y are official game Pokémon on the Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A Mega Dimension site, and Pokébeach reports the set features them, but no card had been shown officially as of October 1, 2026. A gold Mega Raichu X card image circulating on X carries a MEGA Dream ex number and is a fan-made mock-up.

Has an English version of MEGA x MEGA Parade been announced?

No English release had been announced as of October 1, 2026. Past Japanese high class packs became English special sets about six to nine weeks after Japan, per Bulbapedia’s set pages: VSTAR Universe to Crown Zenith, Shiny Treasure ex to Paldean Fates, Terastal Festival ex to Prismatic Evolutions and MEGA Dream ex to Ascended Heroes.

Is there a new rarity type in MEGA x MEGA Parade?

The four cards shown are Mega Attack Rares, the rarity MEGA Dream ex introduced in November 2025 for Mega Evolution Pokémon ex with special artwork and a mirror finish. No new rarity has been shown for the Parade set as of October 1, 2026, and the full rarity breakdown is not confirmed.

Which Japanese products are listed while MEGA x MEGA Parade is pending?

The M2A MEGA Dream ex booster box is currently listed at ¥12,936 (~$84) in its No Shrink option, with Damaged Box versions listed separately, and PSA 10 singles from the 2026 expansions behind the revealed cards are listed as back orders. Sourcing requests for the Parade set go through Quick Order.
