FIRSTSHIP Free Shipping Eligibility

FIRSTSHIP free shipping is available only for eligible first orders with a product subtotal of JPY 100,000 or more.

  • The product subtotal is the total price of eligible products before shipping fees, taxes, import duties, remote-area fees, and other charges.
  • If the product subtotal is below JPY 100,000, FIRSTSHIP will not apply at checkout. Add eligible products to reach the minimum or continue checkout without FIRSTSHIP free shipping.
  • The offer is limited to eligible first orders and cannot be combined with other manual coupons unless Samurai Sword Tokyo states otherwise.
  • Always confirm that free shipping appears at checkout before placing the order. If it does not appear, contact support before completing payment.

Important Notice About Delivery Estimates: Delivery dates shown on our website, at checkout, or in carrier tools are estimates only. They do not include our handling time, pre-order release timing, supplier allocation delays, quality inspection holds, weekends, Japanese national holidays, customs processing, carrier congestion, weather, or destination-country delivery conditions.

Handling Time (Dispatch Time): Most orders are processed and shipped within 3 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared. This handling window is an estimate, not a guarantee. Business days exclude weekends and Japanese national holidays.

Stock Availability and Dispatch Delays: Stock levels for sealed Japanese trading card products fluctuate frequently and, in some cases, dispatch may take longer than the standard handling time. Examples include supplier allocation changes, pre-order releases later than announced, inventory arriving later than expected, or a unit reserved for your order failing quality inspection. If dispatch is delayed, we will contact you by email as soon as practical with the revised estimate. For significant dispatch delays before handoff to FedEx, we may offer the option to wait or to cancel the order with a full refund.

PSA Graded Card Availability: PSA graded cards may also be offered for sale at our physical store in Japan. Because online and in-store purchases can occur almost at the same time, a PSA item shown online may be sold in store before our team locks the allocation for your online order. Once your payment has cleared, we will secure the PSA graded card matching your order, even if additional sourcing is required. Please check the delivery schedule shown or communicated for your order, as dispatch may take longer in this situation. We will provide status updates whenever the schedule changes.

Order Status and Tracking: Once the products for your order have been secured and the shipment is ready, we will update the order status. You can check your order status through your customer account, and once the order is dispatched you can check the tracking number and the carrier’s latest delivery estimate from your account or shipping confirmation email.

Carrier and Customs Delays: After an order has been handed to FedEx, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities. Customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling, peak season congestion, weather, and carrier events may delay delivery. Such transit delays are outside our control and do not by themselves create a right to cancel or refund after dispatch.

Important Note regarding FedEx: FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please provide a physical shipping address at checkout.

Incorrect Address and Shipping Address Changes:

  • Please verify your shipping address carefully before placing your order. The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
  • Changes that affect shipping charges or shipping conditions are not permitted: After an order has been placed, we will not accept any shipping-address change that (i) changes the shipping rate or cost applicable to the shipment, whether higher or lower; (ii) adds, removes, or changes a remote-area or other carrier surcharge; (iii) changes the carrier, shipping method, or FedEx service level; or (iv) changes the destination country. This rule also applies when a coupon or free-shipping offer means that the amount paid by the customer would remain unchanged. We will not recalculate, collect, or refund a shipping difference in order to make such a change.
  • Before dispatch: We may consider only a minor correction that does not affect any of the shipping conditions listed above. If you notice an error, contact us immediately via our Contact Form. A correction is possible only if the shipment has not been handed to FedEx, the processing stage still allows the correction, and we confirm that all shipping conditions remain unchanged. If we cannot confirm all of these conditions, we will decline the request. A request is not accepted unless we confirm its acceptance in writing; until then, the original shipping address remains in effect.
  • After dispatch: Once the shipment has been handed to FedEx, Samurai Sword Tokyo does not accept, process, submit, or authorize any shipping-address change, correction, or reroute. The destination country cannot be changed at any stage.
  • Delivery to the address provided at checkout, or to a minor correction expressly accepted by us in writing before dispatch, is considered completed delivery. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, a refused delivery, or an unclaimed shipment, the return costs and any re-shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We are not responsible for parcels lost due to an incorrect address provided by the customer.


Separate Orders Are Shipped Separately:

  • Each order is packed and dispatched as its own shipment. We cannot combine two or more separate orders into a single parcel, even when they are placed by the same customer, on the same day, or to the same delivery address.
  • Shipping fees are calculated and charged per order. We do not refund, discount, or adjust shipping fees on the basis that several orders were placed close together.
  • If you would like several products to arrive in one parcel, please add them all to a single order before completing checkout.
  • The contents of an order cannot be changed after it has been placed. Please see Section 8 of our Return and Refund Policy.

International Buyers – Please Note:

  • For US Customers: Import duties and taxes are included. You will not be charged any additional customs fees upon delivery.
  • For Customers in Other Countries: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

Handling and Transit Estimates

Orders are usually processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation when stock is ready, but this is an estimate and may change if supplier allocation, pre-order release timing, quality inspection, weekends, or Japanese national holidays affect dispatch. FedEx international transit is typically 2-10 business days after dispatch, depending on the destination country, customs processing, carrier conditions, and other events outside our control.
