MEGA x MEGA Parade Pokemon Booster Box: Pack Price & Box Math

MEGA x MEGA Parade Pokemon Booster Box: Pack Price & Box Math

One price is reported for MEGA x MEGA Parade; the box price is not. As of October 1, 2026 Pokébeach has reported ¥550 per pack, 10 kaarten per pack and a Japanese release of Friday, February 19, 2027 (Pokébeach, August 25, 2026), while the official product page had not been published. The official page for the previous high class pack, MEGA Dream ex (M2a), prints a pack price and a card count and nothing about boxes.

That leaves box math as an “if”. A box figure for the new set is either derived from the reported pack price, or it comes from a retailer or a fan list, and none of those is official. The existing M2a products show something concrete in the meantime: how a Sealed box, a No Shrink box and a Damaged Box are listed as separate products with separate prices.

We sell Japanese sealed product and graded singles from Tokyo. USD figures convert at ¥154/USD, approximate.

Key Takeaways

As of October 1, 2026 the pack price (¥550) and the 10-card pack are reported by Pokébeach, not official; packs per box, box price and carton size are not confirmed. A box price can only be a derived conditional, never a published figure. The M2a format is listed in our store as separate products, for example the No Shrink M2a Damaged Box, currently listed at ¥11,490 (~$75).

What Is Reported About Packs and Boxes

Every statement about the set needs a status. “Official” means printed by pokemon-card.com, pokemon.co.jp or pokemon.com, or shown in the Pokémon Company’s own video or X account. “Reported” means a named outlet or retailer said it, on a date. “Not confirmed” means no source we can name prints it.

The Pack Price on Five Official Pages

The reported ¥550 is not a surprise. Each official high class pack page printed the same recommended retail price including tax, and none printed a box price:

High class pack Official release date Price per pack Cards per pack Box data on the official page
VMAX Climax (s8b) Friday, December 3, 2021 ¥550 11, one Basic Energy (Kira) always included Not printed
VSTAR Universe (s12a) Friday, December 2, 2022 ¥550 10 Not printed
Shiny Treasure ex (sv4a) Friday, December 1, 2023 ¥550 10 Not printed
Terastal Fest ex (sv8a) Friday, December 6, 2024 ¥550 10 Not printed

A matching pack price makes the report consistent with the format. It does not make it official, and it says nothing about how many packs a box holds. Our post on the Japanese booster box vs the high class pack explains why the two product types differ, and best Japanese Pokemon high class packs lists the format’s releases.

Box Math: A Conditional, Not a Price

The official M2a page does not print packs per box. Bulbapedia states that each MEGA Dream ex booster box contains 10 booster packs (as of October 1, 2026), and a fan card-list page lists 10 packs for the new set. Neither is the Pokémon Company, so the box count for MEGA x MEGA Parade stays unconfirmed. If, and only if, a box held 10 packs, the arithmetic follows:

Aantal Derived figure Conditie Status
Price per pack ¥550 As reported by Pokébeach on August 25, 2026 Reported
Price of a box ¥5,500 (10 × ¥550) Only if a box holds 10 packs Derived, not a published price
Cards in a box 100 (10 × 10) Only if a box holds 10 packs of 10 cards Derived, not published
Price of a carton ¥110,000 (20 × ¥5,500) Only if a carton holds 20 such boxes Derived; the fan page lists the same figure

Treat the middle column as a way to read a retailer listing, not as a price to expect. A Japanese retailer that lists a box above or below the derived figure is setting its own price, and a Japanese list price says nothing about the price of the same product shipped abroad. We give no price for the set.

M2a Official Facts vs MEGA x MEGA Parade

Because MEGA Dream ex is the only MEGA-era high class pack with an official page and database, it is the reference for what the next set’s box could be compared against:

Sealed, No Shrink and Damaged Box Are Separate Products

The M2a boxes in our store show the variants a buyer meets with any Japanese box. Our Quick Order “What is NO SHRINK?” tab defines two of them: SEALED, “with the clear factory film still around the box,” and NO SHRINK, “the same unopened box without that film.” It adds that “NO SHRINK refers only to the outer plastic film. The box is unopened, and every booster pack inside remains in its own factory seal.”

A Damaged Box is a separate listing of its own, and the Grade B versions are separate again. Each has its own page and price; the product page shows the condition terms, and our M2 Inferno X Damaged Box guide explains what “Damaged” means. The M2a listings as of October 1, 2026:

Two M2a listings are sold out at the time of this update and carry no price here. Sold-out listings do not change the status of the set itself, and sourcing requests for any of them go through Quick Order. They are the Grade B pair: the M2A Damaged Box (Grade B) (update: uitverkocht — vraag restock aan via Quick Order) and the 【No Shrink】M2A Damaged Box (Grade B) (update: uitverkocht — vraag restock aan via Quick Order).

Carton Wording

A carton is a shipping case that holds several boxes, and the number depends on the product. For this set, a fan card-list page lists a 20-box carton, and that is the only carton figure we can attribute; the official M2a page prints no carton data, and the Pokémon Company has said nothing about a carton for MEGA x MEGA Parade. We list no carton for the set, and the derived carton figure in the box math table is arithmetic, not a listing.

When a carton does appear on a retailer page, check three things: the number of boxes it claims to hold, whether the price is per carton or per box, and whether the listing is a pre-order against a placeholder date. The checklist in our pre-order post applies to cartons too.

How a Box of This Format Appears on Our Site

No MEGA x MEGA Parade product is listed on our site as of October 1, 2026. Sourcing requests for the set go through Snel bestellen, and we give no price, allocation or delivery date for it. What can be described is how a box of this format reads on the site today.

  • Sealed and No Shrink options. Quick Order lists boxes with the columns Product, Sealed and No Shrink, and shows the current price per option.
  • Damaged Box tab. Quick Order carries a separate DAMAGED BOX tab with Grade A and Grade B sub-tabs, so a damaged box is never mixed into the sealed list.
  • Pre-order items. A product with the pre-order label carries a notice that orders “ship after the release day”; the terms are printed in the table in our pre-order post.
  • Payment. Wise bank transfer has no payment processing fee; PayPal, card and Pay Later payments add a 5% fee, per our payment methods page.
  • Duties and delivery. The customs and import taxes page explains who pays by destination; the FAQ says we cannot tell you the amount, and ship dates are given only once an order is fully ready.

Pull Rates and Hit Slots

Box value questions usually come down to pull rates, and none is published. The M2a official page says only that cards are inserted at random (カードはランダムに封入されています). For MEGA x MEGA Parade, PortalTCG (August 25, 2026) describes a fixed hit slot in every pack; that is not confirmed by an official page for this set. Without official pull rates or a confirmed box structure, no honest per-box estimate exists.

What buyers can check is the singles market for the format they know. The PSA 10 MEGA Gengar ex 240/193 SAR from M2a is currently listed at ¥59,899 (~$389). PSA 10 designates Gem Mint condition per PSA’s published grading standards. It is an M2a card, not a card from the new set.

Where to Buy From Japan

MEGA x MEGA Parade has no product page, so there is no box of the set to order. Sourcing requests for it go through Snel bestellen. For the previous high class pack, the listed boxes are the M2A-Mega Dream ex booster box (No Shrink option), the M2A Damaged Box and the No Shrink Damaged Box. The M2a MEGA Dream ex card list shows every card of that set, and the Japanese Pokemon card list hub covers the others.

Veelgestelde vragen

How much is a MEGA x MEGA Parade booster box?

No box price is official or confirmed as of October 1, 2026. Pokébeach reported ¥550 per pack on August 25, 2026. If a box held 10 packs, a derived figure would be ¥5,500, but that is arithmetic, not a published price. We give no price for the set, and the official page had not been published.

How many packs are in a MEGA x MEGA Parade box?

Not confirmed. The official MEGA Dream ex (M2a) page prints no packs-per-box figure. Bulbapedia states that an M2a box holds 10 packs, as of October 1, 2026, and a fan card-list page lists 10 for the new set. Neither is the Pokémon Company, so treat 10 as a condition.

How much is a MEGA x MEGA Parade pack, and how many cards does it hold?

Pokébeach reported on August 25, 2026 that a pack costs ¥550 and holds 10 cards. The official site had not published a product page as of October 1, 2026. Every official high class pack page from VMAX Climax to MEGA Dream ex printed ¥550 including tax, which makes the report consistent with the format.

When does the MEGA x MEGA Parade booster box release?

The reported Japanese release date is Friday, February 19, 2027, per Pokébeach on August 25, 2026; the official site had not listed the product as of October 1, 2026. A Yahoo! Shopping Japan listing prints December 15, 2026, which is a retailer placeholder. No official English release date exists.

What is the difference between Sealed, No Shrink and Damaged Box?

Sealed has the clear factory film around the box; No Shrink is the same unopened box without that film, with every pack still factory-sealed inside. A Damaged Box and a Damaged Box (Grade B) are separate listings with their own pages and prices. The product page shows the condition terms for each.

Can I buy a MEGA x MEGA Parade box from you?

No MEGA x MEGA Parade product is listed on our site as of October 1, 2026. Sourcing requests for the set go through Quick Order, and we give no price, allocation or delivery date for it. The previous high class pack, MEGA Dream ex, is listed as Damaged Box and No Shrink products.
