It was split across three: SV1a Triplet Beat, SV2P Snow Hazard and SV2D Clay Burst, each on sale months before the English release.
SV1a Triplet Beat came first, on 10 March 2023, followed by SV2P Snow Hazard and SV2D Clay Burst together on 14 April 2023 — two to three months ahead of Paldea Evolved, and spread across two Japanese set codes and numbering schemes instead of one. Everything after that follows the Japanese rarity tier printed on the card itself: Ultra Rare (gold) first, then Special Art Rare, then Art Rare.
We do not quote third-party market prices (TCGplayer, eBay or PriceCharting) anywhere in this article. Where we don’t currently list a graded copy, we say so plainly and point you to Quick Order instead of guessing at a number.
