What Are the Key Facts for Extra Booster EAST BLUE EB-06?

The key facts are a January 30, 2027 release, a 240 yen pack price, 6 cards per pack and the product code EB-06. The table below collects them, and every row comes from the official EB-06 product page on the ONE PIECE Card Game site.

Near the end of this guide we list other Japanese One Piece sets that are available now, such as EB-02 Anime 25th collection (update: currently sold out — restock requests via Quick Order). That is a separate set from EB-06 and contains no EB-06 cards.

What Is the One Piece Card Game EB-06 Release Date?

The One Piece Card Game EB-06 release date is Saturday, January 30, 2027. The date is printed on the official product page as 2027年1月30日(土), and January 30, 2027 does fall on a Saturday.

The page is the Japanese product page of the ONE PIECE Card Game, and this guide describes the Japanese edition of the set only. It gives one release date and no other dates, so this article quotes that one date and nothing else.

Three practical points follow from what the page says:

  • The date comes straight from Bandai. It is taken from the official product page, not from a leak or a third-party listing.
  • It is a Saturday. If you are planning around a weekend release, mark January 30, 2027 in your calendar.
  • Specifications may change. The page carries the note that product specifications may change. Look at the page again close to January 30, 2027 to see whether anything was updated.

If you are comparing EB-06 with earlier releases, our guides to EB-05 Heroines Edition vol.2 and the EB-03 booster box show how a set is laid out once its details are public.

What Is Extra Booster EAST BLUE?

Extra Booster EAST BLUE is the sixth Extra Booster for the ONE PIECE Card Game, and its theme is the East Sea, written as East Blue in the product name. The product page introduces it as the sixth Extra Booster (第6弾) on the theme of the East Sea, and invites players to strengthen a variety of decks with characters from the sea where the adventure begins.

An Extra Booster is a special product that sits next to the regular boosters. The same official page explains that besides ordinary booster packs there are special products such as the “Premium Booster” and the “Extra Booster.” EB-06 carries its own code, EB-06, rather than an OP number.

Bandai gives two selling points under the “Features” heading:

  1. An Extra Booster themed on the East Sea is arriving.
  2. Many nostalgic characters appear.

That is the whole feature list. It tells collectors the angle of the set (a place, and familiar characters) without naming a single card. The page does not describe a new mechanic, a new card type or a special rarity for EB-06, so this guide does not either.

On naming: “EAST BLUE” is how the product name is written, and “East Sea” is how the Japanese description phrases the theme. In English text we use East Blue for the name of the set, and the product code is EB-06.

How Much Does an EB-06 Pack Cost?

An EB-06 pack has a suggested retail price of 240 yen, tax included. The official page labels it the manufacturer’s suggested retail price.

Some context helps you read that number correctly:

  • It is a price in yen. The page states 240 yen including tax. This guide does not convert it, because exchange rates move.
  • It is a suggested price. The page calls it the manufacturer’s suggested price. It is Bandai’s recommendation, and this article does not predict what any seller will charge.
  • It is per pack. With 6 cards in a pack, 240 yen works out to an average of 40 yen per card slot.

The page gives the price for one pack. Any total depends on how many packs you count, and at the suggested price it is the pack count multiplied by 240 yen. For example, ten packs come to 2,400 yen at the suggested price. That is simple arithmetic on the printed figure, not a quoted box price.

Because the price is a single figure for a single pack, it is easy to compare with other sets once their official pages are open side by side. Check the product page of each set for its own price, since every product page lists its own.

What Is Inside an EB-06 Pack?

One EB-06 pack contains 6 cards, and the set is listed as 67 card types plus 1 type, according to the official page. The line on the page reads 1パック:カード6枚(全67種+1種).

Spec What Bandai says
Cards per pack 6
Card types in the set 67 types + 1 type
Insertion Cards are inserted randomly
Photos The photos may differ somewhat from the actual product
Specifications Product specifications may change

Here is what each line means for a collector.

6 cards per pack. That is the number printed for the pack. Opening several packs gives you a multiple of 6 cards. The official page does not describe a separate guaranteed card slot.

67 types plus 1. The page gives the card pool as 67 types plus 1 type. It does not say what the “+1” is, so this guide leaves it as printed and does not label it as any rarity or promo.

Random insertion. The page states that cards are inserted randomly. Because of that, a single pack cannot promise any particular card, and this guide gives no odds. The page lists none.

Photos can differ. The standard disclaimer says pictures and the real product may differ in small ways. Wait for images of the finished product before judging packaging details.

The type count is a useful planning number for anyone who likes to track a set: 67 plus 1 is what the page prints today, with the reminder that specifications may change.

Which Cards Are in Extra Booster East Blue?

The official page names no individual cards, so there is no EB-06 card list to quote yet. What it gives is the theme (the East Sea) and the statement that many nostalgic characters appear in the set.

That is enough to set expectations without inventing anything:

  • The theme is fixed. It is the East Sea.
  • The cast leans on familiar faces. Bandai’s own word is “nostalgic,” and the page names no characters.
  • The deck angle is broad. The page says you can strengthen “various decks,” not one archetype.

Our guides to individual characters show how we track a character’s prints across sets. As examples, the Nojiko card guide and the Gloriosa card guide go set by set. Those two guides are about other sets and characters; they are not EB-06 card lists.

Cover image of our EB-05 Complete Guide for One Piece Heroines Edition vol.2, a guide to a different set
Our EB-05 guide, a different set from EB-06.

When card names are published, the useful things to check on each card are the card number, the color and the card type. Until then, the set count of 67 types plus 1 is the only hard number for the card pool.

The official EB-06 page lists four related products: OP-19, PEB-01, ST-37 and ST-38. The table shows what the page says about each of them.

Code Where it appears Release date on the EB-06 page
EB-06 This article’s product January 30, 2027
OP-19 Under “Related Products” Not given
PEB-01 Under “Related Products” Not given
ST-37 Under “Related Products” Not given
ST-38 Under “Related Products” Not given

The EB-06 page names these four and gives no release dates for them, so do not read the order as a release order. For the two ST products, our ST-37 vs ST-38 guide covers release date, contents and deck notes.

The same page also explains how card game products fit together, which is useful background:

  • Booster packs contain cards of various rarities inserted at random, and cards from them can be added to a starter deck to strengthen it.
  • Besides ordinary booster packs, the page names special products such as the Premium Booster and the Extra Booster.
  • EB-06 is an Extra Booster, so it is a pack product with random insertion.

What Does the Official Page Say About Starter Decks, Sleeves and Playmats?

The official page describes four kinds of products in plain terms: starter decks, booster packs, card sleeves and playmats. This is general information on the same page as EB-06, not a description of EB-06 itself.

  • Starter decks are described as sets containing everything needed to play under official rules. The page lists a pre-built 50-card deck, 1 leader card, 10 DON!! cards and 3 basic rule index cards. It also mentions “Starter Deck EX” and “Ultimate Deck” editions and a “Family Deck Set.”
  • Booster packs are packs with cards of various rarities inserted at random. The page says adding cards from boosters to a deck makes it stronger.
  • Card sleeves are protector film. The page says cards are made of paper and can get scratched or bent, and that sleeves are required when you enter an official tournament.
  • Playmats are mats laid under the cards. The page says some playmats mark where the leader, characters, DON!! cards, life and hand go, and recommends them for players who are not yet used to the game.

The page also gives a one-point tip for boosters: add the cards you obtain to your deck to power it up and play with a stronger custom deck. That is the same use the EB-06 feature line has in mind when it says you can strengthen various decks.

How Should Collectors Plan for January 30, 2027?

Plan around Saturday, January 30, 2027, and read the official page again as the date gets closer. The page already holds the date, the price and the pack specification, so those are your reference points.

A short plan that uses only what Bandai has published:

  1. Decide how many packs you want. At the suggested price, the cost is 240 yen multiplied by the pack count. Ten packs is 2,400 yen.
  2. Remember that insertion is random. The page says cards are inserted randomly, so you cannot choose a card by choosing a pack.
  3. Keep deck needs and collecting needs separate. The page says the set features nostalgic characters and can strengthen various decks. Wait for card names before choosing a quantity.
  4. Re-check specifications. The page says specifications may change, which is the reason to look again shortly before release.

It is also useful to know how shipping and payment work for Japanese sets that are available now. The sections below cover that, using our own policy pages.

Which One Piece Sets Can You Buy Now While You Wait?

While you wait for EB-06, you can buy three other Japanese One Piece sets from our shop today: OP-13, EB-02 and OP-11. Each one is a different set from Extra Booster EAST BLUE and does not contain EB-06 cards.

How Do Shipping and Payment Work for Japanese Sets Available Now?

Orders go out by FedEx, with Standard and Expedited options, and payment is made in Japanese yen. The details below come from our shipping policy and our payment methods page, and apply to the sets listed above.

📩 MembersBe first when pre-orders open
Topic What the policy says
Standard shipping FedEx International Connect Plus, with tracking; usually 3-7 business days after dispatch (an estimate, not a guaranteed date)
Expedited shipping FedEx International Priority, with tracking; usually 2-5 business days after dispatch (an estimate, not a guaranteed date)
Shipping cost Calculated automatically at checkout from your delivery address
Handling time Most orders are processed and shipped within 5 business days after PayPal or Wise payment has cleared (an estimate, not a guarantee)
Minimum order None; there is no minimum order amount or quantity
Address FedEx cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes; give a physical address
Payment currency All payments are in Japanese yen (JPY)
Wise bank transfer The only method without the 5% payment processing fee
PayPal and cards The 5% payment processing fee applies; cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB) go through PayPal

A few of these points are worth spelling out. Transit times start after dispatch, so the total time is the handling time plus the FedEx estimate. The policy also says delivery dates are estimates that do not include handling time, weekends, Japanese national holidays or customs processing.

After the parcel is handed to FedEx, delivery timing is controlled by the carrier and destination-country authorities. The policy says customs inspections, import procedures, remote-area handling, peak season congestion and weather may delay delivery.

Stock levels for sealed Japanese trading card products fluctuate, and dispatch can take longer than the standard handling time in some cases. If dispatch is delayed, the policy says we will contact you by email as soon as practical with the revised estimate, and for significant delays before handoff to FedEx we may offer the option to wait or to cancel with a full refund.

On addresses, check yours carefully before you order. While an order is paid and its shipment has not yet been scheduled, the policy says you can update the shipping address yourself from My Account > Orders. The destination country cannot be changed.

On payment, the practical difference is the fee. The payment methods page says Wise bank transfer is the only method without the 5% processing fee. If you pay by Wise without uploading a screenshot, the order is cancelled automatically if payment has not arrived within 12 hours. With a screenshot (which needs an account), you upload it within 5 days and the order price is held for a total of 10 days. If you pay by SWIFT, the page says a receiving fee of JPY 611 is deducted and asks you to add it to your order total.

PayPal Pay Later is offered and operated by PayPal. Where it is available PayPal shows it as a button at checkout, and the terms PayPal displays in its own window are the ones that apply.

What Does the Official Page Tell You About the Extra Booster Line?

The official page tells you three things about EB-06 within the Extra Booster line: it is the sixth, it is themed on one place, and it is pitched as a way to strengthen decks. Nothing beyond those three points is stated on the page.

  • It is the sixth Extra Booster, so EB-06 continues the line.
  • The set is themed on one place, the East Sea.
  • The page invites you to strengthen various decks with the characters in it.

Our guides to other sets show how a set’s own theme is documented once cards are public. The EB-05 vs EB-03 comparison goes card by card through two other sets, and the same approach will apply to EB-06 once card names are published.
