25th Anniversary Golden Box (S8a-G)
The 25th Anniversary Golden Box (25th ANNIVERSARY GOLDEN BOX) was Japan’s 25th-anniversary accessory release, originally released in Japan in December 2021. Regional timing varied: Korea followed on November 12, 2021, and the Traditional Chinese version — along with an accessories-only edition — arrived earlier, on October 20, 2021.
Per Bulbapedia’s product listing, the box is built around a gold-treatment TCG accessory kit: 64 premium gloss card sleeves, a foil-stamped rubber playmat, a set of 12 metal damage counter dice, a pair of metal Special Condition markers, a metal 25th Anniversary coin, a leather-like deck case, a leather-like playmat case, and a leather-like damage counter case. The Japanese and Korean versions add five “25th Anniversary Edition” promo packs on top of that; the Traditional Chinese version substitutes a single “25th Anniversary Collection” pack instead.
Alongside the accessories sits an all-holofoil, 60-card Pikachu-axis theme deck — every card in it holo, and every card drawn from the box’s own dedicated subset rather than any mainline expansion.

The Golden Box’s dedicated subset is catalogued as S8a-G, numbered 001/015 through 015/015 plus additional basic Energy, filling out the deck’s 60-card, all-holo count. Bulbapedia’s card-list table for the box confirms the first six numbered slots:

The card collectors actually chase is Pikachu VMAX (006/015) — one guaranteed copy per box, and the box’s headline pull. It’s worth noting this is a different printing from the more commonly seen Pikachu VMAX 044/185 out of the English Vivid Voltage set; the S8a-G version exists only inside this specific product.

Eevee Heroes VMAX Special Set (“Eeveelutions Set”)
Bulbapedia’s official product title is Eevee Heroes VMAX Special Set (VMAXスペシャルセット イーブイヒーローズ). “Eeveelutions Set” is a nickname used on the secondary market rather than an official Bulbapedia name — worth knowing if you’re searching for it under either term.
It released in Japan on May 28, 2021, the same day as the main Eevee Heroes (S6a) expansion it’s built to accompany; Korea followed on July 28, 2021. Each box contains one exclusive VMAX promo pack (pulling one of four Eeveelution VMAX cards), three mirror holo Energy cards, and a stack of Eevee Heroes boosters — eight packs in the Japanese version, sixteen in the Korean version.
Per Bulbapedia, the four promo VMAX cards in this set — Espeon, Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon — “feature Eeveelutions not available as Pokemon VMAX in the Eevee Heroes subset.” The main S6a expansion doesn’t carry these four as VMAX cards at all; inside the Eevee Heroes lineup, this special set is where they live.
Espeon VMAX carries its own dedicated number within this product: 004/004, distinct from the main S6a set’s numbering entirely. The main Eevee Heroes expansion itself runs 101 cards and released the same day, May 28, 2021.
Umbreon VMAX itself is a main-set pull from S6a rather than part of the Special Set’s exclusive promo pack — it’s shown here as a snapshot of the Eevee Heroes era this product is built around, not as one of the four Special Set promo cards.
