Despite the character sharing a name with the 2019 live-action film, this specific card has nothing to do with that movie — it’s a game tie-in, illustrated by MINAMINAMI Take, HP90, Lightning type, with the attacks “Thorough Investigation” (a repeated coin-flip draw) and “Ride Dash” for 50 damage.

Both cards below carry a familiar-looking SV-P number, but neither is the Japanese-language card that number normally maps to — Japanese SV-P 057 is Penny (a Trainer–Supporter card) and Japanese SV-P 101 is a Basic Fire Energy. These two are location promos issued under the parallel Traditional Chinese and Indonesian SV-P numbering used for Pokemon Center Taipei and Pokemon TCG Academia Indonesia, respectively — the card number is shared across language series, but the card itself is not.

057/SV-P is worth a specific correction, because it’s an easy card to misread. Our listing title references “Taipei Open Commemoration,” and that isn’t a tennis or badminton tournament — it commemorates the opening of Pokemon Center Taipei on December 8, 2023, the store’s own flagship launch in Taiwan. Anyone making a purchase at Pokemon Center Taipei that day received the card, illustrated by REOspikee and featuring the store’s logo directly on the card art. This is a Traditional Chinese–language SV-P promo — distinct from the Japanese-language SV-P series, where 057 is a different card entirely. 101/SV-P has a different kind of origin: it first appeared at “Pokemon TCG Academia,” an event held February 1–14, 2024, at the Central Market in Jakarta’s Pantai Indah Kapuk district, then was distributed again under the same card number at a follow-up Bali event in March 2024. Its Indonesian name, “Berkemeja,” simply means “wearing a shirt” — a reference to the batik-patterned shirt and Poke Ball motif on the card. Later stops on the same “Pikachu’s Indonesia Journey” tour used different card numbers and designs city to city (Surabaya, Yogyakarta, a second Jakarta date), so 101/SV-P specifically ties to the Jakarta and Bali dates. This is an Indonesian-language SV-P promo, separate from the Japanese-language SV-P series.
